Hotels with Breakfast in Copenhagen

We really enjoyed our stay at CityHub. We arrived at the hotel early in the morning with hopes to drop off our luggage, we were instead offered a ‘hub’ straight away! The bathrooms and saunas were absolutely lovely, and the beds were very comfy. I enjoyed having a space to stand up within the hubs, and the ability to change the lighting and the music. Overall, I would recommend cityhub to anyone looking for a stay in Copenhagen. You pay significantly less than what you would in a typically hotel, for what I could argue is better service and better quality.

Convenient hotel 5mins from central station. Lucas and team friendly at reception. Happy to help. Lovely decor and good breakfast included. Great find as a 4star with a souvenir shop opposite and eateries nearby.

I and my son stayed for 3 days (btw 26-29 May ) at a Deluxe Room at 5th floor. Hotel Location was very close to TIVOLI and Central Station. Room was clean and wide. I stayed on ”Breakfast included” basis.. Since I am an omelette or scrambled egg person at breakfast, the breakfast menu was sufficient for me because omelette and scrambled egg they were included under breakfast menu. . However, I've seen same star hotels with much more richer breakfasts of course. 1) Our 5th floor room was reachable via 2 elevators. Firrst you take an elevator and go to 1st floor. Then at 1st floor you walk through a looong coridor. I guess, after this long walk we reach to an additional building of hotel which you cannot understand.. From there you get the elevator again and reach 5th floor. ( I stayed at room 1503 ) 2) Everyday the room was cleaned. 3) The reastaurant staff was very friendly and they were giving service in a very kind way. 4) The reception staff; They did not do anything wrong, but normally I expect a larger smile and more welcoming, energyc, warm attitudes when I step in a hotel. I do not know why I could not feel this at this hotel reception. Secondly, when the Italian male receptionst asked me about my room choice when checking in ( room with a view OR quite room looking at inner garden ), I said I prefer the room with VIEW. However, when I was choosing the room with view, I did not know that room was looking at a street where ROAD CONSTRUCTION was going on. He only told me that street can be crowded only during weekend. I said we will leave until weekend so I thought that I will not be effected from any street noise at a evening. But a CONSTRUCTION NOISE during day that he did not mention was not nice. Overall, it is a nice hotel. But ask where your room is exactly located and ask if you will reach by 1 or 2 elevators. Photos are; from Breakfast and view from my 5th floor room. Great hostel in an excellent location. It’s within walking distance of Copenhagen Central Station, Tivoli Gardens, and many of the city’s main attractions, which made exploring the city easy. What stood out most was how much there is to do inside the hostel. If you arrive before check-in or have a late flight, train, or bus after check-out, there are plenty of spaces to relax, work, or socialize. There are games, a rooftop area, a gym, and several common spaces, so waiting never feels like a waste of time. The hostel is clean, modern, and has a friendly atmosphere. Lockers are available for luggage storage for an additional fee, which is convenient if you want to explore the city without carrying your bags. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended for solo travelers, couples, and groups visiting Copenhagen.

I was around the city for 3days of design and happy for the stay (female share room). The room is pretty clean except there was no curtain for each bed and bathroom was tiny than expected. The hostel is nearby the metro station and easy to walk down to the city center. It’s surrounded by a small lake, people used to running and jogging there a lot. Also, You can pay 100 DKK for late check-out and stay until 1:00 PM. But no early check-in was available. Instead there’s a storage downstairs which charge me 2 hours for 25 DKK and 6 hours for 40 DKK.

I booked a room and Pon arrival he assured me it was a very small room and he could offer at a discounted rate he invented to a magnificent fantastic room. Sounded good and it turned out to be a very standard double bed in a small room with no sofa, no chair, no nothing extra. Too late now to change back as we wanted to go to bed. I wonder what the other room was like they offered on homepage. Breakfast was charged 50 DDK extra if not reserved day before. No information on this, so just had to pay. Coming back to room late night, no cleaning had been done. I asked and they said it must be requested day before. Information was in the elevator about this. I checked and no information in elevator. Oh, then it is in the room. I checked, no information in the room. However, on the side of the wardrobe I finally found a QR code. If you scanned it, you would get all kinds of information about the hotel and rules. Who has heard of such expectations on any guest anywhere? requesting cleaning in an international hotel??? Reception siad they missed on informing. They said it is Scandic standard and I should know, as if I am expected to be Scandic frequent guest. Rubbish! They say it is for the environment. What environmental gain you get from not making a bed was not explained. I said I expected free breakfast for all issues. In the end, they charged me for that too. For clarity, I have traveled weekly as an international businessman for 30+ years to 123 countries. Never heard such bullshit from a hotel reception.

This is an older hotel, but all the common areas, including the lobby, restaurant, and corridors, are beautifully decorated. There's even a small garden next to the restaurant, which makes having breakfast there quite pleasant. The room itself is a bit small, and there's no kettle, but the lobby offers free hot water. It's clear they've made efforts to update and improve things to keep up with the times. The breakfast, however, was just okay – the simplest of all the hotel breakfasts I had on this trip, though the bread and cheese quality was decent. So, based on the common areas, it could easily be a 3-star, but the room itself is probably more like 2-star at best.

Wakeup Copenhagen - Carsten Niebuhrs Gade: After a nightmare stay at City Hotel Nebo (Istedgade 6, 1650 København V, Denmark) where I couldn't sleep and my skin was itching due to dirty conditions including hair in the sink and no hygiene products available, Wakeup Copenhagen was my salvation. Immaculate cleanliness, modern minimalist room on 8th floor with marvelous city view, comfortable bed where I finally slept after 48 hours of exhaustion, clean shower with good water pressure, good quality breakfast, very good reception lobby, perfect location near Dybbølsbro Station (500m) and easy access to Copenhagen Bus Terminal for my FlixBus, excellent value at €62-70. Rating: 9/10. Compared to City Hotel Nebo (-3/10), this was heaven. The contrast was shocking - from dirty and uncomfortable to clean, modern, and peaceful. This hotel saved my trip and gave me the rest I needed to enjoy my last day in Copenhagen. Absolutely recommended for solo travelers who value cleanliness! The Good: Overall, it was a good stay. The entire property runs on a highly efficient self-service system, which made checking in and out quick, seamless, and hassle-free. If you like a smooth, automated process without long queues, you'll appreciate how they have things set up here. Areas for Improvement: The Rooms & Beds: The rooms are quite compact and on the smaller side. Additionally, the beds were a little uncomfortable, which made it a bit tough to get a perfectly restful night's sleep. A decent, budget-friendly option in a lively location if you just need a functional place to crash and prefer a self-service vibe, but don't expect premium comfort.

Overall nice experience. Stayed in a room for three. Hotel is very close to København H station, just 2 mins walk. There is always someone at the front desk 24 hours a day to assist us. The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable, one extra pillow provided. I especially liked the security chain on the door, which made us feel safe. However, the hotel also had some downsides. Since we visited in January when the weather was very cold, the heating in the room was insufficient, making it extremely chilly inside. I sneezed every morning from the cold. And, the bathroom door facing the bed, every time when someone goes to the bathroom mid night, the bright light in the bathroom was blinding. The shower space in the bathroom was also small, and there was no waterproof barrier on the floor to prevent water from spilling out, the entire bathroom floor was slippery after showering. There were three of us, but the hotel only provided two towels and three paper cups, with no toothbrushes or toothpaste. We have to buy it from the front desk for 30dkk. We were also surprised to find that even storing our luggage at the hotel required a fee of 40dkk per hour, so we went to the train station, where we could store our luggage for 24 hours for just 90dkk. If the hotel could resolve the heating issue, I would still recommend it based on its price and convenient location.
