ZZongyouweiguangzhaoliangwoThe hotel has a children's swimming pool where kids can play in the water, and provides sand digging tools so they can take them to the beach. Silver Beach (near Happy Harbor area) is a short walk from the hotel. Afternoon tea is served on the day of check-in, but since we arrived late, we were able to enjoy it the following day.
The hotel service was excellent. Upon arrival, someone greeted us, helped with our luggage, and escorted us to our room. They patiently answered our questions and offered suggestions on activities and dining. The staff were very welcoming. They even thoughtfully provided a gift bag upon departure.
Overall, this stay was excellent. Although we initially encountered a room issue, the hotel responded promptly and provided a good solution. The environment, facilities, and location all met my expectations for a relaxing vacation, making me feel right at home!

GGuest UserThis stay perfectly met my expectations, no disappointments whatsoever! The facilities here are definitely the best on the island. The complimentary afternoon tea was delicious, and the seafood we had the hotel help us purchase and prepare was incredibly tasty – seriously, you *must* try the rock oysters, they're divine! Breakfast is à la carte, with both Chinese and Western options, and you can order more if you're still hungry. The hotel staff were very responsive to all our requests. I wholeheartedly recommend this place. The private beach is wonderfully quiet and peaceful; lying there gazing at the sea was so relaxing, and it was great for photos without crowds in the background. The hotel's famous pool also makes for some fantastic pictures.
**Surprise:** What truly impressed me was that the hotel provides a special bag containing all the essentials you'd need on the island, plus they give you their own sun umbrella. I can't express how thoughtful and considerate this is! Even after we left, the positive impression lingered, and my parents kept raving about it. Next time I visit, I definitely want to try a pool room, though they're so hard to book, haha!

If you like green plants, the view room on the first floor will be very comfortable. You can see the sea from the room upstairs. The housekeeper is the most intimate in the hotel at present, everything is fine, the three-digit price is reflected in the four-digit price, the emotional value is full, it is worth coming again.
A little flaw is that the room is not very soundproof, the guest activities will be louder in the morning and evening, there is a five or six hundred meters away from the Shiluokou style street where you eat, there is no light on the road, pay attention to the vehicle a little.

GGuest UserThe first time I went to Weizhou Island, I went through a lot of trouble to book a hotel and chose the unique Heyue Yaju Inn. After checking in, I really admire my ability to predict. Not only is the room clean and tidy, but even the lobby is bright and comfortable. The landlady is even more warm and thoughtful. Originally we were older. Unfavorable legs and feet. I was scared when I saw the room on the second floor. Unexpectedly, the landlady had already thought of it for us. Unexpectedly, we were moved to the next floor without even saying anything. We are very happy. I forgot to bring hand cream and the lady boss brought her own for me to use, which really touched me. This inn is considerate and considerate for its guests. The room is clean and smell-free, and the price is right. We made the right choice to come here.

GGuest UserGet this hotel!!! We were supposed to stay for a night and then decide what to do - we ended up staying 3 nights and were very sad to leave.
Every so often when you travel your hotel experience significantly improved your holiday - this was one of those cases! First of all the basics, we were looking for a nice family friendly hotel walking distance from the beach - and this certainly fit that category. The rooms are fine, you could see the sea from the windows, comfortable beds, pretty clean, slippers, plenty of towels, wifi everywhere etc. There was also a small playground for small kids and hammocks (picture) etc which was cool, we also saw mahjong tables, but didn't have the time to play.
The hotel is located near a fairly large field, filled with exotic birds, butterflies and crickets etc. There were also geckos everywhere (love them), but we didn't see any inside the room. There were some mosquitos outside on the terrace (don't love them), but the repellent took care of those and we didn't have any in our rooms. Felt like you were near nature, in a good way.
The kids loved to play on the beach, it's great for sand castles (the hotel had buckets and shovels free of charge) and searching for crabs, fish, shells, sea snails etc... The moms loved it too, especially to walk around and explore during low tide. (the hotel also provided equipment to catch crabs and other sea creatures etc if you wanted to - they also had a service to cook them for you) We especially enjoyed playing under a nearby pier during low tide to avoid getting badly sunburned.
The supermarket across the street sell dozens of single malt whiskys and beer from all over the world (they also have ice cream and other stuff) - and the dads recommend the roof terrace for that after the kids are asleep. (picture)
If you know how to ride a scooter/ebike they rent them across the road too, and it's the best way to explore the island. The small roads (almost devoid of cars) were awesome to drive on, just remember to stay safe.
I don't usually care much about breakfast, but the included breakfast was great! (picture) The kitchen staff was also super laid-back about the whole thing - this whole hotel radiated a very laid back tropical island feel that made you forget you were in China.
However the reason I write this review is because of the owner. (last picture) (I'm not sure if he speaks English though, but I'm sure you'll manage) Super chill guy! Immediately after booking he contacted us to arrange the transport from the boat. He helped us buy tickets for the trip back. He was willing to come and pick us up at any time if we got lost on the island. He had great recommendations about basically everything, and whenever we made plans we were sure to ask for his advice. He was basically always reachable over wechat too.
These are just some of the things that he didn't have to provide, but did (or offered): unlimited cold drinking water, ice, proper glasses, a coffee grinder, buckets, shovels, hats, umbrellas, sunscreen, aloe vera plants, flashlights, mosquito repellent etc etc and it feels like we only scratched the surface. It feels like whenever I asked him for something he always had a solution that exceeded my expectations. Great host!
I've traveled to almost 100 countries and while this wasn't the fanciest hotel I've stayed in by any means, this was one of the most memorable hotel experiences I've ever had. If anyone I know plans to visit this island I will for sure recommend this place.

GGuest UserVery satisfactory hotel, I also like the breakfast. I especially like the bed. The bathroom is also very clean and the disposable toothbrushes are very useful. Following the route the boss told us, we reached Silver Beach in less than 10 minutes. I sincerely recommend it. There is also a swimming pool in the hotel where you can swim in the afternoon. The boss and his wife are very welcoming. Highly recommended! Highly recommended! Highly recommended! We stayed in two rooms for three nights and had no regrets. By the way, there is a place to dry clothes on the second floor, which is very convenient. There is also a special smoking area.

HHycanExtremely satisfied with our stay in a sea-view room. We came to Beihai primarily for a family getaway. The front desk staff, particularly Ms. J, was very professional, kind, and well-mannered. We booked a package that included breakfast and one main meal. I thought the main meal would be a light snack like afternoon tea, so I ordered a few extra dishes, but the food turned out to be excellent with generous portions. Breakfast was also decent, and we could have Guilin rice noodles every day. Overall, the hotel staff provided excellent service. There was nothing to complain about on this trip, thank you!
Facilities: Very comprehensive, went swimming every day.
Cleanliness: Absolutely superb, five-star quality goes without saying.
Environment: Very quiet, Silver Beach is right downstairs, and the sea is very clean.
Service: All the hotel staff were very nice and made us feel very welcome.
Chinese restaurant set meal (1 time): Delicious, leaning towards Cantonese cuisine, and the soup was excellent.

GGuest UserI came to Weizhou Island for a day trip alone. This hotel is great. The owner personally went to the pier to pick me up. Thumbs up to the owner! The hotel also offers electric bike rentals at affordable prices. The bikes can be ridden very fast and it’s so cool to take a ride on the beach! The boss is a local of Weizhou Island. He can also give you a guide to check in around the island. You can check in the scenic spots according to the guide. If you don’t understand, you can ask the boss
I bought a double room, but the boss changed it to a king-size room when he saw I was alone. The bed was really big, and the space was also large. It felt like it was almost 30 square meters. Surrounded by fields, it was quiet at night.

AAnonymous UserThis hotel, in my opinion, is a mixed bag. Let's start with the good points. It's built on Guantou Ridge, offering a panoramic view of the entire bay, so the lobby's scenery is absolutely stunning. The hotel is less than a 5-minute walk down to the beach (see photo 3). Compared to Silver Beach, Guantou Ridge is less crowded, the beach is cleaner, and the commercial establishments are more tastefully done. There's a fusion restaurant called 'Shansha' right by the beach, with a Tuscan-inspired decor that's great for photos. The hotel's kids' club is fantastic – well-equipped, spacious, and very clean. The toys and decor materials seem to be of good quality, with no strange odors. The hotel also offers children's classes four times a day. The coffee bar serves good items; the cakes, sausages, and drinks are all delicious. Now for the downsides. There's always a strange, foul odor, like rotting garbage, in the corridor outside the first-floor rooms. When we reported it, the staff would come and the smell would disappear, but it would return after a while. The hotel has many young employees, but it feels like they haven't been properly trained; they often don't know the answers to questions and there's no one they can turn to for help, which caused a lot of delays. The most unpleasant thing was during the May Day holiday. There was traffic control on Guantou Ridge, where the hotel is located, but the hotel didn't call beforehand to inform me how to get up the mountain. This led to a long discussion at the checkpoint, wasting my time and the taxi driver's. When checking out, I asked the front desk if there was a contingency plan. They didn't tell me about the hotel's waiting taxi service, only advised me to allow enough time to call a car from the bottom of the mountain. After much effort, a driver finally accepted the order, and we went through all the procedures to contact and register the license plate to get through the checkpoint at the bottom of the mountain. Only to find two empty taxis waiting right outside the hotel entrance. It was a complete waste of my time and energy.
