"The hotel is newly opened soon, so there are fewer online reviews. When booking, it is a bit awkward, but the result exceeds expectations. It is the only highlight of this trip to Beihai. First, the location is better. It is within ten minutes walk from Yintan. Go to the beach very close, eating around is also more convenient; Second, the hotel room is new, clean, equipped with washing machine and refrigerator facilities, as well as disposable towels and bath towels and other items, consider more thoughtful; Third, the service is warm and warm. After placing the order, I immediately contacted me and reimbursed the fare of the pick-up station. The breakfast variety is not too much but it is completely enough. The soy milk is delicious. The baby likes to eat seafood in the powder. When I left, I also sent a box of sea duck eggs; Fourth, it is recommended to bring a baby. The hotel has a children's swimming pool where kids can play in the water, and provides sand digging tools so they can take them to the beach. Silver Beach (near Happy Harbor area) is a short walk from the hotel. Afternoon tea is served on the day of check-in, but since we arrived late, we were able to enjoy it the following day. The hotel service was excellent. Upon arrival, someone greeted us, helped with our luggage, and escorted us to our room. They patiently answered our questions and offered suggestions on activities and dining. The staff were very welcoming. They even thoughtfully provided a gift bag upon departure. Overall, this stay was excellent. Although we initially encountered a room issue, the hotel responded promptly and provided a good solution. The environment, facilities, and location all met my expectations for a relaxing vacation, making me feel right at home!

The environment is great, the hotel beach is uncrowded, and the sea here is the most beautiful I've seen during my stay on Weizhou Island. The service was warm and attentive; several staff members greeted us upon arrival. Our butler was always available to answer questions. Every day, we received breakfast, fruit, afternoon tea, and a goodnight stew, which made us feel really pampered, haha! The room was clean, and all the amenities were complete (facial towels, eye masks, and earplugs were all provided). Overall, it feels like a very thoughtful hotel, and the experience was excellent.

I was very curious how a property with such an affordable price has a such a high rating. I was immediately convinced by myself. The property is perfectly located in the Southern part of the Island near Crocodile Mountain and its beautiful beach as well as South Bay with countless options of tasty seafood. The room is big, bright, clean and smells great. There is everything a traveller needs. The highlight is clearly the boss, she is very warm, welcoming and very kind. There was a book in my room which I took out of curiosity to read on the beach, and I realized it contained great messages. I asked the boss if she is willing to sell it to me but she gave it for free. She told me that she deliberately puts books with great messages for young people in the room since many students stay in her property. Wow...I wish more people in this world would be like the boss. Don't hesitate and book a room here. If I ever happen to be again on this island, I know where to stay!!

Overall, I was very satisfied with both the environment and the room. There was a starfruit tree next to the pool, and the hotel had nets to catch any you wanted. On the other side of the pool was a jackfruit tree, which had just started to bear some tiny fruits; the rest won't be ripe until June. The complimentary welcome fruits were tangerines and cherry tomatoes, both of which were delicious. The breakfast was excellent, all set meals, and you could ask for more if you wanted, as long as you didn't waste any. The sandwiches came with milk, mixed nuts, sweet potatoes, and corn; the noodles, although in a clear broth, were very tasty and came with a nine-compartment side dish; we didn't order the porridge, but it also came with a nine-compartment side dish, as well as steamed buns and eggs.

GGuest UserGet this hotel!!! We were supposed to stay for a night and then decide what to do - we ended up staying 3 nights and were very sad to leave.
Every so often when you travel your hotel experience significantly improved your holiday - this was one of those cases! First of all the basics, we were looking for a nice family friendly hotel walking distance from the beach - and this certainly fit that category. The rooms are fine, you could see the sea from the windows, comfortable beds, pretty clean, slippers, plenty of towels, wifi everywhere etc. There was also a small playground for small kids and hammocks (picture) etc which was cool, we also saw mahjong tables, but didn't have the time to play.
The hotel is located near a fairly large field, filled with exotic birds, butterflies and crickets etc. There were also geckos everywhere (love them), but we didn't see any inside the room. There were some mosquitos outside on the terrace (don't love them), but the repellent took care of those and we didn't have any in our rooms. Felt like you were near nature, in a good way.
The kids loved to play on the beach, it's great for sand castles (the hotel had buckets and shovels free of charge) and searching for crabs, fish, shells, sea snails etc... The moms loved it too, especially to walk around and explore during low tide. (the hotel also provided equipment to catch crabs and other sea creatures etc if you wanted to - they also had a service to cook them for you) We especially enjoyed playing under a nearby pier during low tide to avoid getting badly sunburned.
The supermarket across the street sell dozens of single malt whiskys and beer from all over the world (they also have ice cream and other stuff) - and the dads recommend the roof terrace for that after the kids are asleep. (picture)
If you know how to ride a scooter/ebike they rent them across the road too, and it's the best way to explore the island. The small roads (almost devoid of cars) were awesome to drive on, just remember to stay safe.
I don't usually care much about breakfast, but the included breakfast was great! (picture) The kitchen staff was also super laid-back about the whole thing - this whole hotel radiated a very laid back tropical island feel that made you forget you were in China.
However the reason I write this review is because of the owner. (last picture) (I'm not sure if he speaks English though, but I'm sure you'll manage) Super chill guy! Immediately after booking he contacted us to arrange the transport from the boat. He helped us buy tickets for the trip back. He was willing to come and pick us up at any time if we got lost on the island. He had great recommendations about basically everything, and whenever we made plans we were sure to ask for his advice. He was basically always reachable over wechat too.
These are just some of the things that he didn't have to provide, but did (or offered): unlimited cold drinking water, ice, proper glasses, a coffee grinder, buckets, shovels, hats, umbrellas, sunscreen, aloe vera plants, flashlights, mosquito repellent etc etc and it feels like we only scratched the surface. It feels like whenever I asked him for something he always had a solution that exceeded my expectations. Great host!
I've traveled to almost 100 countries and while this wasn't the fanciest hotel I've stayed in by any means, this was one of the most memorable hotel experiences I've ever had. If anyone I know plans to visit this island I will for sure recommend this place.

The homestay is beautifully laid out and much thought has gone into the design. Itās very quiet and relaxing, and has lovely benches and swings outside surrounded by beautiful plants. The owner is very eager to please. You can walk about 10 minutes to get to the beach - the beach and the park next to it is beautiful and stretches for miles. When I stayed in March/April, the weather was miserable and cold so I didnāt make use of the pool. One thing to keep in mind, is that this is a homestay catering to Chinese people - that means breakfast is standard Chinese and the mattress on the bed is also Chinese-firm. Neither of the owners speak English, but you can add the lady on Wechat to communicate with her. Being a homestay means less crowds and more relaxing. The owner was very kind to refund me one night when I decided to shorten my stay due to the crappy weather. I really appreciate that she was flexible and accommodating with this.
