MM13511****Facilities: The hotel has a very stylish design with various room types. We chose the 'Wave Seaview' room, which features floor-to-ceiling windows and a balcony, offering an instant view of the ocean. The hotel facilities are also comprehensive and modern, including a constant-temperature hot tub, a dryer, and smart home features (the large smart TV was a lifesaver for putting the kids to sleep – they’d just watch it and drift off 🤣).
Service: The butler service was superb! With a team of 10 butlers, all our requests and issues were addressed promptly. It's perfectly suited for families with both elderly members and young children. Every day, there was afternoon tea and a 'goodnight stew,' along with airport/station pick-up and drop-off services. They also arranged activities like clam digging and sea fishing, and even provided a farewell gift upon departure!
Location: It’s located in the Golden Beach area, not far from the old town and very close to the Oceanarium. A night market is right downstairs, and if you walk a bit further, you'll find various local food stalls. It's a bit further from Silver Beach, but a taxi ride takes about half an hour, so transportation is convenient!
Especially noteworthy is the complimentary travel photography service. They collaborate with Yuexiang Travel Photography. The photographer was excellent at capturing moments and kept us in a great mood throughout, leaving us with beautiful memories of our family of five. After the first day's shoot, we immediately booked another session for Silver Beach the next day. The photographer arrived on time and even waited a bit for us. Since we had seniors and kids and didn't want to overexert ourselves, she encouraged us to play naturally while she took photos. We were extremely happy with the pictures!

It is very comfortable to come back to take a bath at night! My favorite is the restaurant! The decoration is particularly beautiful and the sofa is very comfortable! You can eat and watch TV in the restaurant.

Service: The boss and the proprietress are super enthusiastic! ! If I give a full score of 10 points, I will give 11 points! First of all, starting from the dock pick-up service, the boss will say hello in advance about the time you boarded the boat (I forgot to ask myself, the boss came to ask me, so touched!) and then will rent a car to pick up and drop off, it feels 100 times better than that kind of sightseeing car, because the island is very hot in the car can blow air conditioning! The luggage is also the boss who has been taking the initiative to help! After disembarking, I was a little seasick. The boss also took the initiative to get us lemonade. After drinking it, the whole person was much more comfortable! We stayed for three days in total, and I feel that the boss is completely responsive to us! What you need will be provided to us if you have anything, and you will also introduce us to recommended attractions and restaurants very intimately! It's really special! I was very hungry on the first night. I ordered a bowl of noodles in the restaurant that was especially delicious, or double eggs! On the last day, I asked the boss to help process the seafood. I felt that I was more careful than the restaurant outside. I felt that there was a delicate plate! And the taste is definitely not lost to the restaurant outside, it is so delicious! Room view is marvelous also, direct seaview with nice interior design. Private swimming water is warm. Cleaning Auntie is polite and attentive. We never attend the free afternoon tea, staff are nice enough to send a set to our room volunteerlily. Staff even call us to pass us gifts when we check out early without informatinh Butler. A very wonderful and pleasant stay. Definitely will come back again.

【【xiaoduoyuer】As for the B&B, it is better than I thought. There are almost no hotels on the island. I chose this one among many B&Bs and was not disappointed. The service is very warm. Although there is no elevator, if you live in a room with a terrace on the top floor, someone will help you carry your luggage up. Although the room is not big, an extra bed was added under strong request. The stir-fry in the restaurant tastes very good. I ate several meals there. Due to special reasons, I asked to be picked up from the pier to the B&B after checking out. The young man arranged it immediately without saying a word. His attitude is really good and you can't find any fault with it. There is a small courtyard where children can run around without worry. The swimming pool looks good, but the weather is bad, so I didn't take the children into the water. In general, it is worth the full score.

The accommodation environment is clean and hygienic, very close to the seaside. It has its own restaurant. You can go to the Nanwan Seafood Market to buy seafood and process it. The processed taste is very good! The service is enthusiastic and patient. They will give you strategies and suggestions when you check in. You can make arrangements according to your own situation. It is also very convenient to go to other attractions. You can rent an electric car to travel and experience the slow life on the island. It is very comfortable to blow the sea breeze! ! The store was very kind and gave me a gift when I left. All in all, it was a very comfortable experience☀

MM306222****We were extremely satisfied with our stay at the hotel! The location was impeccable, with stunning views right outside the door and no detours. Situated in the heart of the North Shore area next to the Blue Bridge, this villa district boasts a clean and quiet environment. A mere 3-minute walk brings you to the fine white sand beach, perfect for beachcombing at low tide. There are even foot-washing taps on the side of the hotel, so you don't have to worry about getting your feet covered in sand while playing on the beach. It's incredibly close to the West Point Pier, offering a shuttle service. Hotel staff contacted us in advance to inquire about ferry times, which was very thoughtful and saved us from the hassle of lugging our luggage around. Bike rentals are available right outside the hotel, making it very convenient to cycle around the island to places like Nanwan Street, Crocodile Mountain, Dripstone Screen, Shell Beach, and the Catholic Church – all within a short 10-15 minute ride. The hotel offered unparalleled freedom of movement. The room was fully equipped, with incredibly soft bedding that ensured a wonderful night's sleep. The room was spotless and odor-free, and even had a mini-fridge stocked with water and drinks. And since the hotel is right next to the Grand Hyatt Taipei, we upgraded to a larger ocean-view room for just over 300 RMB – an amazing deal! The room had a great view; the floor-to-ceiling windows offered a direct view of the sea. It was very pleasant to relax in the room and watch the ships sail by. Unfortunately, I only stayed one day due to my itinerary. If I have the chance to visit Weizhou Island again, I will definitely stay here again.

TTuomaxixingAsaka is a newly popular hotel and community in Beihai, bearing a striking resemblance to Aranya in Qinhuangdao. The hotel's prices are very budget-friendly, offering great value for money in Beihai.
We visited during the National Day holiday, when prices at popular hotels typically soar 2-3 times. While Asaka Hotel also had a significant premium, it remained quite competitive compared to the beachfront hotels at Silver Beach. We initially stayed two nights at Silver Beach, then explored the Asaka community, found it impressive, and decided to move to the Ferris Wheel Seaview Resort.
**⛲️Environment:** Asaka Hotel currently primarily consists of the Ferris Wheel, Summit, and other sub-brand resorts. These are essentially hotel-style apartments designed and decorated within the community's high-rise residential buildings. They feature IKEA furniture and appliances, with a Nordic design aesthetic. The main differences lie in location, orientation, and floor level.
This time, we stayed in a Deluxe Seaview Room in the annex building of the Ferris Wheel Resort. It offered expansive views of the southeast-facing beach and the adorable Ferris Wheel 🎡 nearby. The room was a one-bedroom, one-living room, one-bathroom setup, similar to a small suite. There was also a private small courtyard at the room entrance with a washing machine and exhaust fan, perfect for storing odds and ends or drying clothes. A sizable balcony allowed for enjoying the view, relaxing, and catching the sunrise if you woke up early. Both the hotel and the room were relatively new and very clean. The living room had a small refrigerator and a stove (though not used). Breakfast was served as a set meal in the staff canteen; it was simple but decent. Alternatively, you could dine at one of the restaurants within the park. The service was quite good, with quick responses to inquiries. Overall, it felt like a well-serviced hotel-style apartment, suitable for an extended staycation.
**🎡Facilities:** Asaka Park boasts a large outdoor water park, a children's pool, an indoor children's playground, and a children's library, making it ideal for families with kids—this is its biggest selling point compared to other hotels! Unfortunately, we encountered Typhoon 🌀 Muifa, which led to the closure of both indoor and outdoor children's facilities for several days.
There are also adult pools, a cinema, a bookstore, an art gallery, several specialty restaurants and bars, and charming plazas with art sculptures and installations perfect for relaxing and taking photos. Around the park, you'll find numerous art installations and landscaped gardens with a similar theme. To the south are the landmark Ferris Wheel and a larger water park, though they were not open during my visit. Overall, Asaka is a community with a strong sense of design and plenty of recreational opportunities, well worth exploring, photographing, or even staying for a short visit.
**🌀Typhoon Days:** We happened to be there during a direct hit from a typhoon, which significantly impacted our experience. The water park and children's playground were closed, and park restaurants were overcrowded. Waking up in the middle of the night, I could hear the howling wind outside and the slight swaying of the ceiling lamp inside 🫨 After the typhoon passed, the outdoor areas were a mess… However, I was impressed to see many service staff standing firm at their posts, ensuring the normal operation of the hotel community.
**Finally, let's talk about the downsides:**
The hotel rooms are all located in high-rise buildings, but each building only has 2-4 elevators. When you factor in delivery personnel, you can imagine how busy it gets during peak hours. Our luck was pretty good, but we still had to wait a long time for elevators a few times. I suggest strictly enforcing the rule that delivery personnel are not allowed into the hotel.
Surprisingly, the in-room phone in the annex building couldn't dial the front desk. We had to use our mobile phones to call the hotel's main line, and some front desk staff weren't even aware of this issue. I recommend fixing the direct-dial phone problem or at least informing guests upon check-in and providing alternative contact methods.

SShanxisuisuipinganIt was a very satisfying trip. Because it was the off-season, there were not many people on Weizhou Island. We could quietly feel the sea breeze caressing the island, the waves washing the beach, and the sound of boats in the distance slowed down time. The owners of the B&B were also very enthusiastic. Not only did they upgrade our room at a low price, but they also provided us with sea-catching props for free. The young lady and grandmother were also very enthusiastic and often came to help. They also gave us homemade refrigerator magnets. The food made by the chef was also very delicious. I enjoyed the food accompanied by the sunset, and there was a big rhubarb guarding my mouth next to me. I really hope to stay in that moment forever.
