Sheraton Beihai Resort

We booked the Deluxe Seaview Double Room, on the 5th floor facing west (best angle for sunset views). The room was huge, probably over 70 square meters. What I loved most was the large sea-facing balcony, which felt at least 10 meters wide – absolutely fantastic! My family and kids took turns taking photos; you could spend all day there without even needing to go downstairs, it's such a photogenic spot! The hotel front desk staff were very welcoming, and check-in was super quick. The infinity pool is right on the first floor, with both shallow and deep sections, plus a whale-shaped slide that the kids absolutely adored! You can also access the Guanling 'Never-Set-Sun' Beach from a gate on the first floor (accessed by key card). This beach is less crowded than Silver Beach and the water quality is much better! I used my drone for aerial shots, and every picture looked like it belonged in a magazine! The hotel's exterior is very grand, and the surrounding environment is meticulously designed and decorated, making it truly unforgettable! Next time I'm in Beihai, I'll definitely be staying at the Sheraton Beihai Hotel again!

Since it was a weekday, the hotel wasn't busy, so they upgraded my room. I got a spacious open-plan suite with a beautiful sea view, and I could even watch the sunset right from my room. The lobby lounge also has sea-view window seats, and the subtle scent in the lobby was very pleasant. The biggest surprise was the front desk service; the staff were exceptionally friendly. Check-in was efficient and thoughtful, and they always greeted me proactively. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Beihai.

My stay at the Sheraton was a truly delightful surprise, and I absolutely have to write a glowing review. First, let's talk about the location: The hotel is incredibly close to the coast, just a few minutes' walk to the beach, offering a genuine seaside resort experience. I could even catch the sunrise and still make it back for breakfast, which was perfect. Next, the facilities: I was initially worried that an older hotel might have outdated facilities, but everything here is exceptionally well-maintained. From the lobby to the guest rooms, the air conditioning, bathrooms, and pool equipment all run smoothly and are spotless. It's clear the management team puts a lot of effort into upkeep, making for a worry-free and comfortable stay. Now, for the highlight: the service! The front desk staff were incredibly patient during check-in and proactively offered recommendations for local attractions and restaurants. A special shout-out to the manager, who was very responsive and quick to address any issues that arose – excellent work! Finally, the breakfast: The variety was incredible! They offered both Chinese and Western options, with freshly cooked noodles, local specialties, fresh fruit, and desserts – everything you could wish for, and it all tasted fantastic. In summary: Great service, excellent location, well-maintained facilities, and fantastic breakfast. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit! Highly recommended! 👍

My trip to Southwest Guangxi ended in Beihai, and after comparing three well-known hotels, I chose the Sheraton. The room was spacious, and the shower was also very large with strong water pressure. The linens were comfortable, and the pillows were supportive. During my two-day stay, all the staff were very friendly and greeted me whenever we met. The housekeeping staff worked hard; I saw them still cleaning rooms in the evening. The breakfast was quite rich, and it was even better on the second day than the first, with cold cuts. The second day also had a greater variety of fruits. The sea view room was lovely; I spent most of a day just drinking tea on the balcony. Got upgraded to an open-plan suite with amazing views! The hotel's environment and facilities are top-notch, no complaints there. The pool is also beautiful, and the location is great – super close to the beach. You can just swipe your card at the back entrance and be on the beach in 5 minutes! My little one loved it so much and was really sad to leave.

The room was quite spacious and well-equipped, but I didn't expect to be sharing it with mosquitoes! I got bitten several times, and it wasn't until I plugged in a mosquito coil the next day that I stopped getting attacked. Still, I didn't sleep well because the duvet was too thick – too hot with it on, too cold without it, ugh! The breakfast had a good variety, but it wasn't tasty. The view outside the window was beautiful, but the indoor environment was very noisy. I ordered takeout in the evening, but it wasn't delivered even after thirty minutes, so I had to go down and pick it up myself. At least the sunset was beautiful!

I booked the panoramic sea view suite, and from the balcony, you can enjoy a full view of the Guantouling sunset beach, which was incredibly comfortable and enjoyable. We opted for the buffet dinner at the hotel, and it was a lavish seafood feast – definitely great value for money! The hotel's breakfast was also very generous. The beach is less than a 5-minute walk away. The outdoor pool at the hotel is also beautiful and makes for fantastic photos. Overall, a very satisfying experience.

Came back from a trip to find a cockroach crawling on the headboard! There was also a persistent, intermittent foul smell coming from that area by the headboard, I'm not sure if it was the carpet or what.

Pretty good, felt like a great deal. The sea view from the lobby is beautiful; there's also an outdoor pool with clean, odor-free water; it's very close to the sea, making beach access super convenient; and breakfast was decent too.
