"This hotel has a fantastic vintage European vibe. It's really close to Sannomiya Station, making it super convenient for getting around and finding food. It's a quiet oasis despite being in a busy area. The rooms are quite spacious and clean for a Japanese hotel. There's a public bath on the second floor, perfect for relaxing after a tiring day of travel. The breakfast selection is extensive, and you can even try some local specialties. The service overall is excellent. It's a great place to stay for anyone visiting Kobe."
"This hotel is excellent, offering a quiet retreat in a bustling area. It's incredibly convenient for getting around, shopping, and dining. Both JR and private railway Sannomiya stations are within walking distance, and getting to the hotel from Kansai Airport via bus to Kobe Sannomiya is very easy.
The hotel is situated in a prime location: the former foreign settlement to the south represents upscale elegance, while the Sannomiya central shopping street and Kitanozaka-dori to the north offer vibrant commercial activity. Major department stores like Hankyu, Marui, and Daimaru are all nearby. A taxi ride to places like Meriken Park typically costs around 1000 yen.
The decor is lovely, and the hotel is very clean and tidy. I particularly appreciate the separate bathtub and shower, a feature I prefer over many older Japanese hotels.
The staff are warm and welcoming, and their service is professional. The check-in and check-out processes were simple and efficient, adding to the wonderful memories of my trip to Kobe."
"This is an older Japanese-style star hotel that exudes the understated luxury of an economic boom period. Although the hotel itself is quite old, the room size, maintenance, and staff quality are still maintained at a high standard. Satisfied!"
