"This feedback is not easy... Let's not forget to tell you that this Hostel is simply a youth hostel... with more hassle than comfort that suits a family night. The Staff remains the best service of the Bilbao Hostel. Good quality WiFi Location far from the city center and Guggenheim, but a bus (No. 28 or 58) is accessible 100 meters from the hostel, the tram 20 minutes walk. Room style recreation center or old military school, hard bed, military cupboards, I found traces of my national service! Toilets, sinks and shared showers (but separate M / F) for all, cleanliness uncertain, sandals recommended. shower cabins open only a curtain that hides your presence, no privacy. Breakfast available but very low quality and quantity, athletes and big eaters in the morning this is not for you. Of course, all our international youth and some lunatics spend their time joking and shouting at all hours, the doors of the rooms themselves slam when you close them, it's just unbearable. So we tested as a family by obligation, for lack of overnight stay so as not to lose our stay, room for 3 at 108 €uros, for this same price we would have two nights in a much better hotel but unfortunately in Bilbao nothing is simple even in advance. It is especially this price / service ratio which is excessive and distressing, for lack of booking very early Bilbao is quickly full for overnight stays and you find yourself booking in this ersatz Youth Hostel. For once RUN AWAY before being brave!!!"

"For a four star hotel, it left much to be desired. We couldn’t change the temperature of the AC, couldn’t reach the front desk or concierge on the phone, didn’t have any shower gel, shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom and didn’t have anyone helping us with bags. Besides the front desk checking us in quickly when we arrived, the central location and the beds being decently comfortable, there was nothing else about the experience that made it worth the money."

"In terms of design, this is a nice, beautiful hotel. Comfortable mattress, pillow menu, hair dryer, bathroom amenities... but!! The coffee machine in my room didn't work, complete lack of soundproofing. It felt like I was sleeping on the street among crowds of strolling youth (and the hotel is located right in the Casco Viejo quarter). The coat rack is located right above the kettle and coffee machine. So you have to boil the kettle so that the steam doesn't get on your coat...? Extremely dangerous cotton swabs. I came to the administrator at check-out and showed how you can accidentally pierce your eardrum with one movement. And the price for the night is not small at all. I have no desire to recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay and getting to know Bilbao. Alas"

"It's located in a residential area. But there's even a supermarket and bars nearby. Very affordable in the off-season. Among the features: the room on the second floor has a window in the ceiling. Plenty of outlets, but one had a pin sticking out!!! (That's really creepy.) There's an elevator to the second floor. There's also a kitchen. Overall, it's fine, even for a few days. You can sleep and work at the desk. In winter, the air conditioning works just fine. Check-in is by code."
