Guest UserThis hotel is nestled on a tranquil white sand beach, boasting expansive grounds and an all-villa layout. The environment is absolutely stunning, like being in a forest. The ecology is fantastic, with squirrels and birds visible everywhere. The rooms are spacious, and the overall resort experience was excellent. The sunsets from the beach are breathtaking. While there are 5 restaurants, the food quality is only average, not as good as Danna. Service can be a bit slow to respond, but overall it's still good.

Abdullah AyedhRWonderful Stay at Rebak Island Resort
We had a wonderful stay at Rebak Island Resort & Marina Langkawi.
The location is excellent, peaceful, and very suitable for families who are looking for privacy and relaxation. The resort services were excellent, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and all the staff were very kind, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay.
The private beach is beautiful, clean, and offers a great level of privacy, which makes it especially suitable for families. We also really enjoyed the food at the hotel restaurant. It was excellent, varied, and offered many good options to choose from.
I would also like to share one recommendation that could make the resort even better: it would be great to have more security cameras covering all areas of the resort, including the swimming pool, beach, rooms area, and walkways. It would also be very helpful to have lifeguards or safety staff monitoring the beach and swimming pool areas. This would make the resort feel even safer for children and give parents more peace of mind while their young kids are playing or swimming.
Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this resort to families looking for a quiet, clean, and relaxing island getaway.

Moulai ibtissemStunning resort – but a few fixes would make it perfect
---
I stayed at the Berjaya Hotel for 3 nights and ended up extending my stay – that alone says everything about how much I loved this place. It truly deserves its 5-star reputation.
The positives:
· The private beach is absolutely gorgeous.
· The pool is large, pleasant, and very well maintained – crystal clean.
· We stayed in a chalet facing the sea, and it was simply wonderful – waking up to that view every morning was unforgettable.
· The international breakfast buffet is rich and generous.
· The staff throughout the hotel are helpful and welcoming.
· The 24-hour buggy service is a great idea for getting around the resort.
· The SkyCab is nearby, with a free shuttle to the station (one-way).
· Plenty of restaurants to choose from, live jazz every evening for 1–2 hours, and an amazing fire show on the beach every Friday and Saturday.
Now, a few areas that need attention:
---
🔴 1. Inappropriate swimwear in the pool
I was shocked to see several guests swimming in regular clothes and T-shirts – not proper swimwear. Worse, I witnessed a guest actually scrubbing his T-shirt inside the pool to clean it. This is unhygienic and can pollute the water.
👉 There should be a clear rule requiring proper swimwear, and staff should enforce it. A simple sign at the entrance would help.
---
🔴 2. Buggy service issue – broken promise
The resort offers a buggy shuttle to the SkyCab station, but the return is not officially provided. However, we were told by a driver that a buggy would drop off a group at 4 PM and that we could return with it. Since we were a family of 4 and there was no space left, he promised to come back for us. He never did.
We waited in vain under the scorching heat, with a child, and eventually had to walk back uphill – which was exhausting and uncomfortable.
👉 If the return service is not guaranteed, just say so clearly. Don't make promises you can't keep. This was very disappointing.
---
🔴 3. Dessert variety
Both at breakfast and dinner, the dessert options were quite limited and lacked creativity. A bit more variety would elevate the dining experience.
---
Final word:
Despite these issues, my overall stay was wonderful. The resort is beautiful, the setting is magical, and I would still recommend it – but I truly hope management listens to this feedback, especially regarding pool rules and the buggy service.
We came for 3 nights and stayed longer – that says a lot. With a few adjustments, this place would be absolutely perfect.

Jackie_hxhObjective review:
Pros: Most hotel staff were warm, friendly, and enthusiastic. The location boasts beautiful scenery, with wildlife nearby, and it's very close to the jetty. There are also many dining options in Kuah Town. The spa was excellent, though a bit pricey!
Cons: The hotel's facilities are outdated, and cleanliness was just average. The toilet had a slight odor, and the sheets had stains, which I later asked staff to replace. The biggest issue is the soundproofing. If you're easily stressed or a light sleeper, seriously consider my advice and avoid this hotel. Perhaps I was unlucky, but for four nights, a Middle Eastern family with two crying children stayed across from us, and their wailing continued past midnight. It was truly frustrating. Thankfully, the platform provided timely feedback and intervention, and the hotel manager offered some gifts and earplugs, but there were still several difficult hours at night. I think a better solution would have been to help us move to a more suitable room, but the manager refused, stating that twin rooms were fully booked. This is definitely incomparable to hotels with excellent service awareness in China.
Another major pitfall: The seafood at the hotel's restaurant, Tide, was not fresh and very expensive. Definitely avoid it; don't take my word for it, go try it yourself. My daughter had diarrhea that night, and the hotel later offered some discount compensation. Communicating with foreigners is exhausting, so I won't dwell on it.
Finally, since this was a family trip, we focused more on the happy moments. Despite the imperfections, let's just think less about them~ I wish everyone gets to see the beautiful natural scenery of Langkawi.

MUHAMMAD HAZIQ BIN IBRAHIMI had a wonderful stay at Ombak Villa Langkawi. The room was comfortable, the surroundings were beautiful, and the overall atmosphere made for a relaxing staycation. The facilities were great, and I truly enjoyed my time here.
However, there are a few areas that could be improved. The check-in experience was disappointing. Although I had booked my room four days in advance, I still had to wait almost an hour before my room was ready. What made it more frustrating was that no apology or explanation was given by the staff for the delay.
Another area that needs improvement is the Wi-Fi connection, which was quite unstable during my stay.
Overall, I had a great experience and would still recommend Ombak Villa Langkawi. With better customer service during check-in and a more reliable Wi-Fi connection, the experience would be even better.

CalvinMCPWe stayed at one of the suites and it was right next to the salt water pool, wonderful that we can hop into the pool everyday! There was also sunset view and stars every night you can enjoy.
The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. In particular the security guard at the parking was very nice to remind us to switch off our car’s lights at night.
The breakfast could have more options as we stayed for 5 days and eventually becoming a bit more repetitive on the menu.
Location was great. A few great restaurant across the street (a little more high-end). Highly recommend to go with a rental car to get around the Langkawi Island.

jeffrey159We had a pleasant stay at Langkawi Seaview Hotel and were assigned a room on the highest floor (Level 9). The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained throughout our stay.
One thing we appreciated was the shower heater, which provided a stable temperature and maintained the heat consistently, making for a comfortable shower experience. The air conditioning was adequate but not particularly strong; however, the ceiling fan helped circulate the air well and kept the room comfortable.
The balcony was a nice bonus, offering a relaxing sea view that was especially enjoyable in the morning and evening. The bed was comfortable, and we liked that the hotel provided four pillows, two soft and two firm.
Most importantly, the staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

aiGuoyingInitially, I was assigned a room on the first floor, even though I booked a deluxe twin room. When I entered, I couldn't see anything 'deluxe' about it. It was just a very, very ordinary Shenzhen seaside apartment-style room, and not even as new as typical Shenzhen apartments. It looked run-down and dated, like something out of the 80s, though it was managed like a hotel with staff, not fully self-service, and there was a front desk for deposits and 'cultural relic maintenance fees'. The main issue was being on the first floor near the kitchen, with no outward-facing windows. The only window opened onto a small corridor where people could walk by. The experience was terrible, with no view whatsoever. Plus, there was a locked door inside the room that couldn't be opened from my side. I had no idea what was on the other side, or if it could be opened from there – quite a scary thought (see picture 4). I then contacted Trip.com customer service to help communicate with the hotel. They said there were no rooms available on other floors, but for an extra 40 MYR paid at the front desk, I could switch to a treehouse room on the 4th floor. I paid the additional 40 MYR myself, and it was much more comfortable – a private courtyard (see picture 5). Picture 2 shows the hotel restaurant, which was actually what made me choose this hotel based on Trip.com's beautiful photo, but the initial room was really bad. After paying extra for the treehouse room, it was quite good; at least I felt safe and didn't have to worry about someone on the other side of that door opening it in the middle of the night.

AvemiWe stayed at this hotel for two nights and mostly used the room just to sleep. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.
The view from the room was beautiful, the bed was comfortable, and the room itself was cozy and had everything we needed. The soundproofing was also quite good, which made it easy to get a good night’s sleep.
We had breakfast included, and it offered everything you would normally expect from a standard European breakfast. Nothing extraordinary, but perfectly good and satisfying.
I would like to mention a few small points for future guests, without lowering my rating because they didn’t significantly affect our stay. The room cleanliness could be improved. The bed linens and towels were perfectly clean, but the decorative pillows, curtains, and parts of the bathroom didn’t seem as clean as they could have been. I’d rate the overall room cleanliness around 5/10.
Also, there were no toothbrushes provided, and the toiletries were not replenished in sufficient quantities for a two-night stay. I would recommend bringing your own toothbrush and personal hygiene items just in case.
Despite these minor issues, we enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the hotel left a positive overall impression. Thank you for your hospitality!
