Stayed here with our adult kids and we’d definitely come back.
The biggest selling point is the location. You’re literally a few steps from the beach and surrounded by restaurants, duty-free shops, souvenir stores and just about every tourist activity you could want. Grab cars are always waiting nearby too, so we never waited more than a minute or two.
The staff were fantastic. Everyone was friendly, helpful and always happy to assist. Our air conditioner stopped working one night and they moved us to another room just a few doors away straight away. It was handled without any fuss.
If breakfast is included in your booking, I’d recommend it. Most of the cafés and restaurants along the ***** don’t seem to open until around 10am, so having breakfast at the resort is really convenient and saves you having to hunt around first thing in the morning.
Just remember this is a 2-star resort. If you’re expecting luxury, you’ll probably be disappointed. If you’re after a clean, comfortable and affordable place in a brilliant location, it’s hard to fault. We were only really in our room to shower and sleep because there is so much to do around Langkawi.
One funny thing. The bathroom is basically one big wet area, so don’t leave your clothes or toiletries on the floor unless you want them soaked!
Could we have spent more and stayed somewhere fancier? Absolutely. But for the location, price and friendly service, this place delivered exactly what we were after. We’d happily stay here again.
