Hotels with Bars in Negombo

The hotel is a bit far away from the road and in an inconspicuous location. I took a taxi and found that the address of the hotel was inaccurate. It took me a long time to navigate to it by the hotel name. As a result, the driver said that this place was no longer in Negombo, so he asked for an extra 2,000 pesos. The hotel facilities are old, almost equivalent to the domestic level of 40 to 50 yuan, which is a level that makes one's heart go cold just by looking at it. The service in the hotel was good, with smiles throughout. But eating is very expensive, and the names of the two dishes are very fancy. In fact, the price of domestic fried rice plus service charge and tax totals about 140 yuan. Only thirty in China. All in all, the experience was very bad.

The hotel is conveniently located near the airport, and transportation is easy. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff are very polite and greet everyone they meet. The breakfast is plentiful. Although it's almost Chinese New Year, the hotel wasn't crowded, but it still had a festive Chinese New Year atmosphere.

It suited its purpose to be close to the airport, but otherwise there is not much to do in the area neither in the hotel. I would not stay longer than necessary. The hotels facilities are basic, rooms a bit outdated, though gym is quite good. Pool is nice and breakfast tasty and good variety

Disappointed stay to be totally honest. The location is good, right on the beach and 20 mins from the airport. There is a pool and many restaurants around. The street doesn't have much to do, but if you want to stay and relax its a good option. Check in was 2pm even though its stated as 1pm online. The women at the front desk are excellent, very efficient and friendly, however the men are not. I wasn't impressed. Upon check out, nobody came to collect my bags. Food is good from ala carte. The bar manager is amazing. Very good customer service. The bed is comfortable, along with the pillows. Good shower and wifi. Nice balcony. The room has a mosquito problem and no robe or slippers in the room. Some problems exist however. In the hallway there is music and lights on 24/7. This disturbs sleep. Neighbours are noisy (not hotel fault). And people reserve sun loungers in the morning, even though they do not use until hours later. This is a problem. Overall I was a little disappointed with my stay.

Not a bad hotel, when after the flight you want to take a breather and not start off right away, I mean, around the island) We got there in the off-season, there were few guests, so the rented tuk-tuk fit into the small parking lot without problems. Friendly staff with a welcome drink and adapters for sockets for your charger, the room almost)) with a view. There is an exit to the sea, although I'm not sure that it is comfortable to swim there, but the sunsets are gorgeous ;) The pool was very useful. Keep in mind that there is no infrastructure nearby, not wanting to have dinner at the hotel, we went in search and looked for at least something for quite a long time. Perhaps it was necessary not to drive around the neighborhood, but to give the local chef a chance, since the breakfast was quite simple, but tasty

I got off the plane late, because I had to go to the fish market in Niganbu early, and I specially set this place. As the first night of landing in Sri Lanka, the hotel was very good. The door is open sideways, not very obvious. The reception was very warm and I kindly exchanged travel advice when I checked out. The facilities are not complete, there are no dental appliances, the wooden door needs to be locked with a key, but it is very clean, and the bed table bathroom in the whole room is spotless. Bring a small restaurant with a bright window, go out to the fish market seven or eight hundred meters, close to St. Mary's Church. More cost-effective

A very pleasant trip! Every staff member at the hotel was incredibly welcoming and friendly. Since it was our honeymoon, they even gave us a small cake! The room was spacious, though the furniture was a bit dated, but the view was fantastic, directly facing the infinity pool and the beach. In the mornings, you can go to the beach to watch fishing; there are so many seagulls and crows, and even dogs! If I ever stay here again, I'll definitely choose to stay here again!

The hotel is in a great beachfront location with a decent size pool and plenty of restaurants to explore by foot. I ate dinner in-house once which was good and arrived quickly. The room I had booked was fan-only and fine for me. Breakfast was great and staff went out of their way to fulfill my expectations. I received a kettle as I stayed 8 nights and wanted to drink tea on my balcony. The most notable aspect really is the friendliness of the entire team. Everyone is really genuinely pleasant and made me feel at home.

I booked this one for my parents. Initially the hotel had made a mistake. My parents were one hour late to check in. Still there was a person in their room. The hotel had given my parents a different room for one hour. As a compensation for the trouble, they gave a suite for the last night of my parents’ staying. In Trip.com, this hotel is a 4 star hotel. But the staff say it is a 3 star hotel. Service, cleanliness and amenities match a 3 star hotel as well but not the price.

Complimentary airport pickup is the best which are offering which takes away all jitters we as a travelers have especially when traveling for the first time that place. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I was going stay for only one night in this hotel but extended for one for night after this good experience.
