GGuest UserBreakfast: Not many hot options, but the vegetables were good, and overall the taste was quite decent.
Service: There's a lack of Chinese-speaking staff, which made communication a bit challenging, but the hotel staff were all very enthusiastic and patient.
Facilities: Clean and tidy, probably among the top three in Vientiane.

AAModernMusafirI stayed at Settha Palace Hotel during my visit to Vientiane, and overall, it was a decent experience with a mix of positives and areas for improvement.
The hotel’s location is definitely one of its biggest strengths. It’s right in the middle of everything, close to the river and within easy reach of the main Songkran celebration areas, which made getting around very convenient.
The property itself has a charming Lao-French colonial style. While it is an older hotel, it has been maintained reasonably well and retains a certain classic character. The staff were excellent, professional, friendly, and always willing to assist, which added positively to the stay.
However, the room was somewhat disappointing. While the minibar was well stocked, basic amenities were missing, not even essentials like a toothbrush or shampoo were provided, which was surprising for a hotel of this category. There were also some maintenance issues: the bathroom had leaking pipes, and the air conditioning wasn’t working initially, though to their credit, they promptly sent a technician to fix it.
The pool area is visually quite pleasant, surrounded by greenery, giving it a relaxing vibe. That said, there were quite a few frogs around the pool, which became a bit irritating. While I personally didn’t mind, some other guests, especially European travelers, were clearly uncomfortable.
Overall, it’s a good property with great location and strong potential, but it could significantly improve with better room maintenance and attention to guest amenities.

MmisukanEvery time I have a layover in Vientiane, Laos, I stay here. The shuttle service is incredibly convenient. The breakfast starting at 6:30 AM also gives me enough time to catch my domestic flight from the airport. I'll definitely keep staying here in the future. This time I got a membership card that I can recycle, but I'm not sure how to use it?

MManLikeRoshI had a very disappointing experience during my stay at this hotel.
Firstly, the WiFi was not working at all, which was already frustrating. This was our second day at the hotel, and we hadn’t experienced any mosquito issues on the first night, so what happened next was both surprising and unacceptable.
In the middle of the night, I woke up to use the bathroom and found the entire room filled with mosquitoes. Both my girlfriend and I ended up with mosquito bites all over our bodies, making it extremely uncomfortable to rest.
I called reception to report the issue and ask for help, but the response was unhelpful. I was simply told to close the balcony door—which was not open in the first place and hadn’t been left open during the day either. This made the explanation feel dismissive, and it seemed more likely that the mosquitoes had entered through the air ventilation system.
When I asked if they had any mosquito repellent or could offer a solution, I was told they didn’t have anything available. With no real assistance provided, we had no choice but to sleep fully covered under the duvets from head to toe just to avoid further bites.
Overall, this was a very unpleasant and poorly handled experience.
Would I stay here again? Absolutely not.

@@wearetheharrisonsWe had a wonderful stay at Eastin Hotel as a family. The hotel was comfortable, family-friendly, and offered excellent service throughout our visit.
One of the highlights was the amazing breakfast buffet, which had a wide variety of choices to suit different tastes. Our room was spacious, clean, and provided plenty of space for our family to relax.
The location was convenient, and we especially appreciated the complimentary shuttle service to the night market and the Nam Phu area. The hotel also offers airport transfers, making travel arrangements very easy.
Another feature we found extremely useful was the hotel’s app, which allowed us to conveniently book transfers, order room service, and access other hotel services.
The staff were warm, welcoming, and always happy to help. Overall, we had a great experience and would happily stay at Eastin Hotel again on our next visit. Highly recommended! 😊

GGuest UserOverall, my stay was fantastic. The hotel's location is super convenient with tons of dining options nearby. The room was spotless, cozy, and the bedding was so comfortable, I slept like a baby. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and handled both check-in and check-out very efficiently. Breakfast had a great variety and tasted good too. Definitely great value for money. I'd absolutely choose to stay here again if I get the chance!

Wwave.npkOverall the hotel is okay, but the air conditioning in my room was not cool at all. I turned it on at 16°C from 6pm until 10pm and it was still not cool. I called the reception several times and they didn't answer. I had to go down and ask them to come and look. When the staff came up to look, they said they would change the room for me, which was very late and I didn't want to waste time packing my bags and moving rooms, so I didn't change rooms. However, I think that a hotel of this level should check the readiness of the room before letting customers stay. The Wi-Fi is also quite slow. Personally, I am not very impressed with the price I paid.

It's super close to the scenic area, and parking is convenient, making it easy to come and go. Overall, it's a very comfortable stay. They have an outdoor pool and a gym, which I used daily for my workout before going for a swim.
