Had to stay a few extra days for visa stuff and honestly couldn’t find a reason to move elsewhere, this place just made it easy. Clean, comfortable beds, cozy vibes and that little coffee shop became my daily routine. The food is simple but so good. Ended up not minding the wait at all!

The room was a bit small but perfect for a solo traveler. The bedding was very comfortable, with a charming French floral pattern, and the curtains were lovely too. The flowers and plants in the garden were just right. Check-in was smooth, and all the male staff were very friendly. On our last day, they even helped us contact the driver when we were taking a taxi. Compared to the room and surroundings, breakfast was a bit disappointing and somewhat basic. A lady at our table ordered the wrong thing, and when the food finally arrived, there wasn't much of it. Oh well, we were planning to go out for coffee and pastries anyway. I originally chose this hotel because of the black and white checkered tablecloths in the restaurant. Overall, the value for money isn't exceptionally high, but if you like an authentic French style, this could be a good choice.

An Absolute Delight at Eastin Hotel Vientiane! 🌟
Extending my stay at Eastin Hotel Vientiane was the best decision! From authentic local dining to modern interior comforts, everything was exceptional.
✨ Highlights of my stay:
Delightful Breakfast & Dining: A wonderful breakfast spread featuring fresh tropical fruits, hot noodle soup, poached eggs on toast, fluffy pancakes, and fresh black coffee to kickstart the day.
Authentic Lao Cuisine: Trying the signature Lao Traditional Cuisine Set at the rooftop bar while watching the sunset over the Mekong River was an unforgettable experience.
Stunning Views & Chill Vibes: Soaking in panoramic daytime views of the Mekong and enjoying craft drinks against the glowing city lights at night.
Stylish & Comfortable Rooms: Loved the navy-and-floral accent wall, smart vanity area, and clean, inviting spaces.
Every corner of this hotel is stylish, clean, and welcoming. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Vientiane!

Guest UserNot far from Vientiane Airport, almost within walking distance, making it a top choice for layovers. However, it's quite a distance from the high-speed rail station. The hotel's deluxe rooms are spacious and quite large, but the standard rooms are a bit smaller.

TobyasClean and good quality hotel.
On the downside, the air conditioning let a large puddle of water inside when it started to rain outside.
At breakfast, where we arrived half an hour before it was due to end, the hot food had run out.
The picture shows all the protein I could find in the thermal bath. There wasn't even an omelet or eggs available in the open kitchen.

Excellent! The room was very spacious, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Its central location is super convenient. The breakfast was a highlight! Absolutely fantastic value for money. The hotel also offers parking, so we'll definitely aim to drive here next time for another stay!

머리대면 잠Everything about this hotel was great, from the service to the friendliness of the staff. I especially liked that there's a convenience store on the first floor where you can buy Korean food, alcohol, cigarettes, and most daily necessities. The only downside is that it's about a 30-minute drive from the tourist area and Vientiane's main downtown spots. Aside from the location, everything else was top-notch.

Guest UserThe hotel's location is decent, with a Big C supermarket nearby, which is convenient for dining and shopping. However, the breakfast is very mediocre, not living up to its Ctrip 5-diamond rating or its self-proclaimed 4-star Great Wall brand. I'm not sure how hotels outside of China can be rated by domestic Chinese star standards; it clearly seems like a self-awarded brand. There was a power outage in my room in the middle of the night. After dawn at 6 AM, I realized only my room had no power while other areas did. The phone was broken, so I had to walk to the front desk to request a repair. By 8 AM, no one had come to fix it, and the response I received was that the maintenance staff hadn't woken up yet. The room had a strong smell, clearly from long-term smoking. It improved slightly after turning on the air conditioning, but it still felt unpleasant. The hotel's hardware could be on par with a 4-star domestic Chinese hotel, but it's poorly maintained, and the staff's service is subpar, a far cry from the 'Dream South' service slogan. I will definitely not choose this hotel again, nor any other hotel under the 'Dream South' brand.
