The hotel's location is super convenient, with a mall right downstairs and just a few minutes' taxi ride to Golden Beach and the 'Lonely Whale' sculpture. The room decor was minimalist yet upscale, clean and spacious, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering a comfortable view. The bedding was soft, and it was very quiet at night. Check-in at the front desk was efficient, and the service was thoughtful. Free parking makes it easy for getting around and dining. I highly recommend this place if you're visiting the beach in the Development Zone, and I'll definitely choose it again next time I'm in Yantai!

The proprietress was very enthusiastic. I got off the train at around nine o'clock in the middle of the night and couldn't get a taxi. The proprietress drove us to the train station to pick us up. She also gave us a simple travel guide and introduced the scenic spots and Penglai's special breakfast. It's very close to the scenic spot and can be reached on foot. The room is very clean. The whole house is smart and has a smart toilet. It's my first time staying in a B&B and I feel very comfortable and at ease. At the same time, I would like to express my special thanks to the proprietress because I am alone at such a late hour. I made a call and she immediately picked me up. All in all, it was a very pleasant trip. I will definitely stay at her house next time I come here.

Bonnie even upgraded us to a sea-facing king room! We were incredibly happy with this room type! We set an alarm for 5 AM and woke up to such a beautiful view when we opened the curtains!!! Just across the road from the hotel, there's a beach with exceptionally clear water. We visited some scenic spots around the coast, and felt that the water quality and beach right below this hotel were excellent! For those with children, you can even experience 'catching seafood' at low tide. As someone from the south, seeing so much fresh seafood on the beach for the first time was truly astonishing! Overall, Hotel Indigo is very trustworthy! Once again, thanks to all the staff at Hotel Indigo Yantai Golden Beach for their warm hospitality!

The room size was just right, enough for two adults and two children to sleep comfortably. This hotel seems to be one of the better ones in Yantai; prices can increase two to three times during holidays. I saw it was around 300+ normally, but during May Day, it jumped to 800-1000 RMB. Their food is excellent, very clean and delicious. We visited Tianyue Bay in the afternoon and Penglai Pavilion in the evening. What really stood out was how friendly and cheerful the staff were, which made us feel very welcome. We had a minor issue during our stay, and Manager Li Ling handled it perfectly. I would definitely consider staying at this chain hotel again if I visit in the future.

Excellent! The hotel is conveniently located near Chaoyang Street Pedestrian Street. The environment is clean and smells fresh. The complimentary 'geda tang' (dough drop soup) voucher was for a decent-tasting soup, which I guess is a local specialty. The hotel is also very close to the beach, and the Yantaishan bus stop offers easy access to transportation. I recommend taking buses or taxis from the Yantaishan bus stop to experience the local lifestyle. It's also a short walk from the hotel to the lighthouse near Yantaishan, perfect for a relaxed stroll.

I booked a deluxe room and specifically chose one with an ocean view in Building B because the windows there can be opened. The view was absolutely beautiful. The sofa bed in the room was very practical. It's also very close to Jinshatan Beach, and there are dining options nearby, which is convenient. The only downside was the breakfast; it was too simple with very few choices and could definitely use some improvement.

This guesthouse is quite unique, not only for its distinctive architectural style, which is very photogenic, but also for the stunning views outside the building. Both the balcony and rooftop offer direct views of the Bohai Sea. Right across from the guesthouse entrance, you'll find the beach and one of the attractions, the sea cave. Watching the tide come in during the morning, recede in the afternoon, and listening to the waves at night is absolutely amazing. Walking along the coastal path to the east (turning right) for a few minutes will take you to Yupibian, and in about ten minutes, you'll reach the popular internet-famous attraction, Zhangdao. However, I highly recommend walking west (turning left) from the guesthouse entrance along the coastal path. The scenery is endless, and most importantly, there are fewer people because many tourists take shuttle buses between attractions, but the truly beautiful views are along the way. Finding a large rock to sit on and gazing at the clear, azure sea is incredibly relaxing. What I really want to say is that the guesthouse's environment and location are probably the best on the island. Besides that, the service is also excellent. The room is fully equipped, and the housekeeper is very helpful. They will contact you in advance to confirm your license plate number so they can pre-authorize your vehicle's access to the island (non-island vehicles and unapproved vehicles cannot enter the island). On our return trip to the airport, it happened to be raining, and ordering a Didi (ride-hailing service) directly would mean having to take a shuttle bus first to the pick-up point (off the island). After learning about our situation, the housekeeper helped us arrange an airport transfer car and confirmed the price in advance (which was very reasonable). The housekeeper also helps carry your luggage to your room and assists with luggage when you check out. The restaurant contracted by the guesthouse, both inside and out, also serves delicious food with fresh ingredients. I recommend checking out group deals on Dianping or ** as they are quite cost-effective, though à la carte prices are also decent. Breakfast is served in the cafe and is similar to a typical home-style breakfast, with soy milk, various steamed buns, porridge, eggs, and other Chinese dishes. I will definitely stay here again next time. This guesthouse has a great environment, excellent location, and wonderful service, and the sea across from it is beautiful too.
