一一步一脚印We were very satisfied with the hotel's location, service, and cleanliness. The pick-up and drop-off service was especially appreciated, particularly since we were a family traveling with young children and luggage.
This hotel is designed like a traditional quadrangle courtyard, so some rooms are on the second floor, requiring a short climb up a flight of stairs. Right outside the hotel, you're on the bustling Chaoyang Street, and in about a two-minute walk, you'll reach Guangxing Orchard, which is very convenient.
The front desk staff were also very friendly. Upon check-out, they even gave small gifts to my two children. There's a water dispenser in the hotel lobby with both hot and cold water available at all times, which was very handy.
The room was spacious enough to open two 32-inch suitcases simultaneously without a problem. The only minor inconvenience was the lack of privacy in the bathroom. If you needed to change, you had to ask anyone else in the room to avoid the area around the bathroom.

GGuest UserI like the style and the cleanliness is also good. It is worth mentioning that the mattress and latex pillow are very comfortable to sleep on. When I left, my wife bought a pair of pillows from the boss to take home. The room is all brand new. The key is There is no odor at all, the whole house is smart, the children have the most fun, thanks to the hard work of classmate Xiao Ai, who constantly responds to the children's various questions and requests, the large floor-to-ceiling windows are very comfortable, and the surrounding places to play are also very close , the transportation is convenient, there is a shared tram on the roadside when you go out, scan it and go immediately, it is so convenient, the boss recommended a place to eat, the price is not expensive, and the taste is good. If you bring children next time, you will come here again of.

AAquaNowThe Meiya International Hotel/Apartment offered worldclass service. The staff provides ample assistance and unending patience to foreign guests. Despite the language limitation, the hotel crew ensured that my requests are provided.
I booked the cheapest room available for my schedule. It was beyond value, loft type unit which gave a solo traveler like me a huge area to move around. the bed was big. the living area was a whole room by itself. there was a separate space for office work, a kitchen, and a spacious bathroom. Meiya is very generous with space.
My room had a view of the city, through its floor to ceiling window. It felt first class.
What was a bit confusing is the names used through trip.com: Meiya Hotel or Ramada Hotel or Fulitai Hotel.
The location was perfect for the conference I attended, just a few blocks away from Yantai International Expo. Commuting via train to neighboring cities like qingdao and weihai is also easy with the train station just 5 min drive away.
There are a couple of shopping malls nearby too.
Overall, I am happy with my stay at Meiya International. If given the chance to visit Yantai, I would definitely come and stay here again.

This was a nice little hotel standing right in front of a beach. The placement can be seen as perfect as this large beach is wonderful itself and much better then the beaches at the city center. The only inconvenience to consider when choosing this or nearby hotels is lack of cafes and restorans nearby, so you'd better take breakfasts in the hotel, they were not bad, tasty and very filing, with serveral options to choose from. For other places to eat, except for a two nearby costly restorans, you'll have to wark to find one about 1-1,5 km or more. If you want to spend more time in the city center consider also the time to travel to it, about 1,5 hours on a bus, 30-50 minutes on taxi.
The service was decent, even though stuff does not speak english they were very welcome and supportive, helping me and calling taxi a couple of times when I needed it.
The hotel itself is clean. The room was cleaned daily, not perfectly as the floors in the room stayed a bit dusty all the time but that was not too much of an issue. The bedding was always clean, towels were clean as well and changed daily.
I have to say a few words about the beach and the see themselves. The beach is large and clean, there are trash bins which are cleaned daily. It have a sand of very good quality, indeed of a golden color. The beach longs for several kilometers and is from about 150 meters wide to 200+ meters wide depending on the tides. The beach is shallow but no too much, you can easily walk to a place where you can swim freely. It was August and the water was extremely warm and cozy. It was clean with little human made trash coming from the see, but due to temperature the water near the shore start blooming on a second or third day of my stay there. I had to walk 10-15 meters in a 50-80 centimeters deep water full of seaweed before I come to clear waters. I bit unpleasant but not a big deal. There were some jelly fish coming the shore, the see doesn't have dangerous ones though. The beach has some infrastructure, at least there is a place to wash your hands and legs and there are public toilets nearby the beach, but there are no safeguards on it. With an chinese specifics I would say that's a plus as they are too restrictive and protective here.

FFrom a SingaporeanThe positive attitude and service performance of the staff ranging from front desk, concierge/security to breakfast restaurant and house keeping is excellent. The classic hotel personal service with a modern twist makes the stay a memorable experience. On my check-in, Ms Xiao Jiao and Ms Xiao Cong gave me and explained briefly the leaflet on the hotel’s suggested tourist attractions in Yantai. They also enthusiastically exchanged small RMB notes with me. They also gave me a piece of mooncake of my choice (and during my check-out too). The restaurant staff is attentive, replenishing food and drinks and attending to requests promptly. Due to my lack of command of Mandarin and accent, the chef cooked the wanton instead of the mackerel dumplings for me, he immediately served me the dumplings when he realised the miscommunication. The next morning, after serving me the mackerel dumplings, he, I think, recognised me, suggested I could add soup and condiments to the dumplings. I find their fleshly cooked dumplings are even better than the dumplings from the most famous dumplings restaurant in Yantai. The concierge staff on 2 days helped me book taxi using her phone app, paying in advance on my behalf as booking via internet cannot be settled in cash. The concierge/front desk lent me umbrella without question.
After a delayed and tiring flight, Mr Xiao Gao brought me to my room and explained the mechanics of the switches in the room. There was a hand-written welcome note from Ms Liu, with 2 cups of white fungus/goji drink beside it. The drink together with the note and fruits in the room, not only soothed my dry throat but also lifted the mood. House keeping provided fruits, white fungus/goji drink and dried chrysanthemum/rose flowers (to prepare for drinking) and 4 bottles (500 ml) of water daily, with up to 14 bottles at the lift lobby on my floor, and guests can also request house keeping for more bottles. On my check out day, during my breakfast, they left at the door handle, a bag of goodies, fruits and bottles of water and souvenirs (4 key chains with various types of sea shells), together with a hand-written farewell/bon voyage note from Ms Liu. Well done The Center Hotel staff, you are a pride to the hotel, the hospitality industry and Yantai!

GGuest UserThe hotel is right next to the bus station and very close to the train station. There are supermarkets, restaurants, and fruit stores nearby, and it's also close to RT-Mart. Public transportation to all the attractions is very convenient. The hotel service is excellent; they are very responsive and promptly meet our needs. What's even more thoughtful is the extended check-out time, which saved us from having to wander around. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserI didn't plan ahead for my trip to Yantai this time and just booked the Sheraton Golden Beach on a whim. After booking, I saw a lot of negative reviews on a certain app, which made me really nervous, especially since I was traveling with my two-year-old and feared a miserable experience. However, my stay turned out to be a pleasant surprise – it's genuinely perfect for families with kids!
The location is the biggest highlight. The hotel has a direct private access to the beach, so you don't have to cross any roads. We could get to the sea in just a few steps with a stroller. The sand at Golden Beach is fine and soft, and my child had a blast digging and playing in the waves. The entire Golden Beach coastline is well-developed, but it's very long, so walking the whole stretch can be tiring. You can easily rent electric bikes or family bicycles along the road. Cycling along the coast to see attractions like the 'Lonely Whale' and 'Time Tower' was super convenient.
Since the hotel has been open for a while, the rooms do show a bit of age, but they are well-maintained and clean, which was perfectly acceptable. We stayed in a sea-view room, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offered a fantastic view; we could watch the sea right from our bed. The room was spotlessly clean, making for a very comfortable stay.
What I want to praise most is the service – it was exceptional throughout! From the front desk to housekeeping and restaurant staff, everyone greeted us with genuine smiles, not just perfunctory politeness. Traveling with a baby means a lot of little things to handle, and everyone was incredibly thoughtful and responsive to our needs, which was heartwarming.
Overall, it far exceeded my expectations. You step right out to a beautiful beach, coastal cycling and sightseeing are convenient, the rooms are well-kept, and the service is genuine and attentive. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Yantai!

YYifan622I specifically chose this hotel when I went to Yantai for Lao Li's concert. Both the facilities and services were good, matching the price. The staff's service and attitude were excellent. After the concert, I could also take a stroll by the seaside. The breakfast was especially good too. The only minor downsides were that the room was a bit dirty, though they started cleaning it on the second day of my stay. Also, there's no robot delivery service, so going downstairs to pick up takeout was a bit inconvenient. The large shower head in the bathroom sprayed water everywhere. I noticed many previous guests had mentioned this, and it's a bit disappointing that it hasn't been addressed or fixed.

GGuest UserWe were staying in a B&B, which was very remote. We went there at night, and it was dark all the way. There were not many cars on the road, and the kids were a little scared. When we were about to arrive, we passed by a factory, which was a hotel on the side of the mountain.
First, go to the office on the roadside to get the key to check in, then drive with the service staff (riding a tram) into a similar village, and then make five or six turns to reach the destination (my husband and children went to the supermarket to buy things at night and got lost when they came back). In the unit building, we lived on the first floor (the quilt in the room felt very damp). The bed at the entrance seemed not strong (it was located in the living room) where the children slept. The door connecting the bedroom and the bath was broken and could not close tightly. I don’t know if the pool is a hot spring but the water is warm (there were hairs in the pool, but we didn’t use it). The bathroom is heated by solar energy and is warm (you can’t shave). The corners are very dirty. I don’t like this place to stay. Maybe it’s because of the first floor

There is light music at the front desk, which is very nice.
