"Big shoutout to Xiao Han for the warm milk at night! 🥛 Overall, it was a good stay. The hotel has a few restaurants to choose from, and we had dinner on the 23rd floor. The view was great, although the wait was a bit long. The location is quite convenient, with the Hongkou 1920 Street Block just across the street, perfect for a seaside city walk leading to Chaoyang Street. It's also not far from the Changyu Wine Culture Museum. My only minor complaint is that the toilet in the room faced the bed, which might be due to the room layout."

From the lobby manager to the cleaning staff, the service is incredibly attentive and detailed. This comfortable feeling extended throughout my entire trip. Coming back to the hotel after exploring really felt like coming home. Rosy and Cindy, in particular, are what I would call benchmarks in the hotel service industry. A huge thumbs-up! I'll definitely be returning to the Marriott because of them."

The staff at the front desk were so welcoming and even gave us a free upgrade to a sea-view room – fantastic! The hotel's location is excellent, with easy access to transport. The room was spacious, offered a great view, and the breakfast spread was plentiful."

"We were upgraded to a high-floor twin room, and they even offered a free extra bed and complimentary breakfast for the child. The hotel is right by the beach and close to many popular spots. My child loved the kids' craft activities. The breakfast was also a highlight, quite good for this hotel class, with all the standard five-star amenities plus plenty of local specialties. The gym equipment, however, was a bit basic."

"I often book these established hotels when traveling, and while they're sometimes good and sometimes not, this time I was truly satisfied. First, the location is excellent; it's right by the sea, with a back entrance that leads directly to the ocean. Building 6 is closest to the back entrance. Second, the facilities are great. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, with separate showers and toilets. There are two shower stalls, one with a bathtub and one with a standing shower. The standing shower even has a seat, which is convenient for elderly people. The only drawback is the small TV. Finally, the service is superb. I left my pillowcase and data cable in the room, and Ms. Hu braved the rain to chase after me and promptly return them. I'm very grateful. I would definitely choose to stay at the Dongshan Hotel again if I have the chance to visit Yantai again. You can go beachcombing right outside the hotel, and the seawater is crystal clear. It's also very close to Seal Bay and Moon Bay."

"The bed was big, the shower was full, and the bed was comfortable. The downside was that I was given a staircase view room, one of only two rooms out of more than 20 rooms on the entire floor. When I checked in, it was dark outside and I didn't notice it. I found it later and had to keep the curtains closed. Panoramic staircase, I'm very honored, and I'm still a loyal member of Atour."

"For those accustomed to Atour, Orange, and Ji hotels, it's best to avoid these older establishments. The design and facilities are completely outdated, giving an overall impression of being old and uncomfortable! The TVs are old, the toilets are old, and there's a musty smell. The poorly designed details make for a very unpleasant stay. The curtains let in so much light that it woke me up early this morning. On the positive side, the breakfast was quite plentiful and delicious, and the parking lot was spacious enough."

"1. There was no kettle in the room, not even a tea bag. 2. The breakfast table was slow to clear. I saw so many waiters running around, seemingly without doing anything. 3. I couldn't even place the cutlery in the breakfast room. I asked the waiters and they didn't even put it out. Are they afraid someone else might take it? 4. There was a robot that kept the takeout, but it didn't deliver it upstairs. I had to go to the lobby to pick it up myself."
