Guest UserTraveling west with my kids, our first stop was Nanchang. This hotel is super close to the subway station, making it very convenient to walk to both Tengwang Pavilion and Wanshou Palace. We were pleasantly surprised when we entered the room – it's really spacious and newly renovated. For breakfast, we got to try Nanchang's special mixed noodles and clay pot soup. All the staff were very friendly. I'll definitely choose to stay here again the next time I visit Nanchang.

Qingzhe?
I found this hotel temporarily with my colleagues on a business trip. I didn't notice the invoice problem when I booked it, but the front desk manager Shi was very professional and patient to help us solve it when I checked out. The hotel itself is also very good, the decoration and facilities are generally new, and the price-performance ratio is very good.

As a 'five-star standard' hotel, the Radisson Blu Hotel Nanchang Xinjian (Nanchang Changbei Airport Branch) was a huge disappointment. While the hardware might barely meet the mark, the complete collapse of service details, management, and dining quality absolutely does not live up to its high-end positioning. It’s arguably the worst 'five-star standard' hotel I've ever stayed at.
I. Indifferent Service, Utterly Confused Communication
Broken promises on reservations: I confirmed a late check-out request with customer service before booking and noted it in the order. However, upon check-in, the front desk was completely unaware of it, requiring repeated communication to finally resolve it. Compared to the attentive service at other three-star and four-star hotels in Nanchang, this so-called high-end hotel is severely lacking in basic service.
Shambolic airport drop-off service: The airport drop-off time was confirmed during check-in, but at the scheduled time, there was an internal communication breakdown among staff. Multiple front desk staff members huddled together, whispering, with no smiles throughout, and some even walked off in a huff. No one informed us of the next steps. After standing there for two minutes, a young man at the counter told us, 'You can wait for the driver at the entrance.' Even more absurdly, the driver, upon arrival, was also scowling the whole time, taking out internal frustrations on the guests. The experience was terrible.
II. Disorganized Management, Unacceptable Details
No-smoking policy ignored: The hotel clearly states it's non-smoking, yet the corridors reeked of smoke, and public areas were filled with smog. This is far from the clean environment expected of a five-star hotel.
Mixed clientele, disruptive noise: The hotel hosts a large number of tour groups, making the lobby often noisy and chaotic, severely affecting the stay experience and showing a lack of basic respect for individual guests.
Staff improperly using guest facilities: On multiple occasions, hotel staff were found using the guest-exclusive washing machines and dryers for their personal laundry in the laundry room, encroaching on guest resources. This highlights clear management loopholes.
III. Subpar Dining Quality, Five-Star Standard a Joke
As a five-star standard hotel, breakfast should be a crucial aspect for showcasing quality, but the actual experience was incredibly disappointing. The food options were extremely limited, with a scarcity of hot dishes, pastries, and beverages, making it difficult to satisfy different tastes. What’s worse, the food was bland, pastries were cold, and Western food options were limited. It completely failed to meet the dining standards of a high-end hotel. Compared to the rich, diverse, and delicious breakfasts at similarly priced hotels, the dining experience here was 'disastrous.'
Summary: Hardware acceptable, but completely inadequate otherwise
Undeniably, the hotel's room decor and bedding quality were decent, but the complete failure in service, management, and dining negated these hardware advantages. As a hotel aiming for five-star standards, failing even on basic service attitude, communication efficiency, hygiene management, and dining quality is truly undeserving of its high-end positioning. If there isn't a fundamental improvement in management, I will definitely not choose to stay here again, nor would I recommend it to travelers who value good service.

ExpatNanchang is a great city to meet up if you have friends from other locations in China. I was able to meet with friends between Shanghai and ShenZhen. There are different train stations. Everyone can arrive at, and this location is in the center of a few attractions. You can view the fountain from the rooftop and have dinner, or you can take a walk down to the museum, Navy ship, or fountain. the breakfast is delicious and convenient. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We booked a two rooms for the purpose of family, and the housekeeping staff did a great job of maintaining the room for a couple of days. Thank you for the free gift and the welcome fruit was really appreciated.

My wife and I chose the Nanchang Honggutan City Hotel for our stay, and the experience truly exceeded our expectations! The hotel just opened in 2024, so all the facilities are brand new. The lobby has a modern and grand design, creating a wonderful ambiance.
The room was spacious and bright, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable and soft, making for an excellent night's sleep. What really surprised us were the thoughtful details: dual sinks, Appelles toiletries, a Laifen hairdryer, a feature-rich toilet, and complimentary mini-bar drinks – it all felt very high-quality. The front desk staff were warm and professional, even upgrading our room for free and including breakfast, which was a lovely touch.
The breakfast restaurant offered expansive views, and the food selection was plentiful and kept perfectly warm. The Nanchang specialties like the 'Waguantang' (earthen jar soup) and mixed noodles were authentic and left a lasting impression.
Overall, this hotel is impeccable in terms of both its facilities and service details. It offers exceptional value for money, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Nanchang for tourism or business – it's definitely worth staying at!

Guest UserTo prepare for my high school entrance exam, I chose this hotel because it's close to the foreign language school. The front desk service was excellent; they helped me check in early and were very accommodating. The location is super convenient, with plenty of free parking spots right outside. The subway station is just next door, and there are lots of great food options nearby – I even discovered two new favorite restaurants! During my stay, they also helped me print some documents, which was a huge help. The room was well-arranged and very comfortable. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied.

This hotel offers great value for money. It's very close to the Jiangxi Museum, so I could sleep in. There are Shaxian snack shops and Lanzhou beef noodle shops downstairs, and the Jiangxi Museum is just a few minutes' walk away. The front desk service was excellent; everyone was very welcoming. I was also very satisfied with the room—it was clean, tidy, and nicely decorated. It was a very comfortable stay. I'm a frequent hotel guest and I'm always happy with this hotel. I would definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in the area.

Came here on a business trip, didn't expect the environment to be so good. The hotel is quite big. The sweet girl at the front desk provided good service and even gave me some fruit. The room is clean and hygienic, with a reasonable layout and smart Xiaodu voice control, which is very convenient. The hotel also provides afternoon tea and a bowl of noodles late at night, which is very good and I am very satisfied overall.

Anonymous UserThe front desk lady checked in very quickly, and also sent a welcome snack. This small drink is very delicious. When I checked out, I told the front desk lady that I had a drink on the road! ! So sweet! . There are not many types of breakfast, but there are still some Nanchang mixed powder tile soup, and the coffee is also freshly grounded by the coffee machine, not the kind of instant flushing. When checking out, I also asked if I needed to delay until 2 pm, and the service details were indeed in place. Next time I come here for a business trip, I will choose this one. The bedding in the room is good, and the room is very soundproof. The transportation is also convenient, not bad! !

Located in the old city, Nanchang is currently building roads. There are two one-way roads near the hotel. You can book a car online to get around. It is inconvenient to go back to the hotel. You need to go around in a big circle. If you encounter traffic jams and traffic control, it is quite inconvenient.
There is a KTV on both sides, which is full of rhythm and music at night. There are two washing machines and two dryers on the 9th floor for easy use. Health and service are good. Traffic jam makes it inconvenient to return.
