"It has an incredible view, right on the canal across from the beautiful library. The location honestly couldn't be better. Right in the heart of everything. In walking distance of wonderful locals. But I reserve my biggest compliment for the staff. The front desk went beyond the call of duty. Bent over backwards to help me time and time again. I can't say enough! Even the cleaning staff, everyone was unbelievably cheerful. A fantastic city, worth the visit. And I definitely would stay there again."

"Great hotel, not great location. This place really doubles down on its name: it reminded me of the Omni Berkshire in Manhattan, but with the art deco elements turned up to eleven, and costing a fifteenth of the price. Great rooms; nice interior; polite staff: the problem here is it’s a bit in the middle of nowhere. It’s quite a ways from the main railway station, and let’s face it: there’s no reason you’re going to be in Nanchang for very long, so adding an hour or so coming in and out the city might be a dealbreaker. On the other hand, you’ll be hard pressed to find a four star hotel that’s this cheap, so it could just be worth the subway ride."
