Ibis Hotel (Nanchang Tengwangge Longevity Palace)

Great hotel in the heart of Nanchang. Super close to some major sightseeing and overall quiet and clean. Fast check in check out and nothing to complain about it.

Overall, it was pretty good. The location is very close to the scenic spots, and you can either walk or take the subway to get there. Wanshou Palace and Jewelry Street are located on both sides of the August 1st Memorial Hall, with the memorial hall on the left. The room was clean, but the guests in the opposite room smoked with their door open, so the smell came in. The soundproofing wasn’t great either—I could hear people talking outside and the sound of doors opening and closing. The front desk gave two guests who checked out later a souvenir, but I didn’t get one. Why was there different treatment?

Excellent location right in the heart of the bustling city,: close to subway, attractions, restaurants and shops. Very tasty local delicacies. Clean room and comfortable bed. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good buffet breakfast. Affordable room price for budget travellers. Strongly recommended.

Location 5/5. Visibility of the hotel is terrible. Coming from the Bayi Memorial station, the hotel is not viable. The entrance is not Chongshan but a side lane. There is a small Ibis logo amongst number advertisements. The entrance is a small door to a lift. The front desk is on the 3rd floor but it's not marked on the lift. From the Bayi Metro station, pass McDonald's and it's the first lane after. If you pass the spherical bollards , you have passed it. The room is aged. Housekeeping 5/5. Front desk 3.5)5.
