"Extended Stay Benefits - Breakfast: The breakfast selection was incredibly rich! I got to try Nanchang boiled dumplings, mixed rice noodles, and jarred soup. Location: The location is excellent! It's very close to Wanshou Palace, the August 1st Nanchang Uprising Memorial Hall, Jiangxi Provincial Museum, and Bayi Square. I chose to stay in a阁景 (pavilion view) twin room for two consecutive nights and could see the main pavilion and the Ferris wheel in the distance. It was great to enjoy the night view without having to jostle through crowds at the attractions. Cleanliness: The room facilities were excellent, clean, and hygienic."

"The beds at this hotel were incredibly soft, ensuring a great night's sleep. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, which was very convenient. The room also came equipped with a 'Xiaodu' voice assistant, offering excellent value for money. Downstairs, there were plenty of local Nanchang snacks to try. The front desk staff were very warm and helpful, always ready to answer any questions and respond quickly. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit."

"The Atour experience exceeded my expectations! Right upon arrival, the front desk offered tea, which was a lovely touch. The room was spacious and I really liked the design; the bedding was so comfortable I fell asleep instantly. The breakfast's mixed noodles and soy milk were incredible, and they even had Nanchang mixed noodles – what a pleasant surprise! They also served congee in the evenings, which was very comforting. The location is super convenient, with a subway entrance and Wushang department store right downstairs. Overall, it's just that perfect level of comfort. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit!"

"This 12-day Chinese New Year family trip, Shangri-La Nanchang was by far the most comfortable hotel we stayed in. The location is superb, with convenient transportation. The tram downstairs goes directly to all the major popular attractions. What truly impressed me was the service; they genuinely made us feel at home. Check-in was very thoughtful. They proactively arranged our two rooms together and patiently explained why there was a connecting room in between (due to the king-size bed layout). They also meticulously inquired about all our needs. On the day we left, our child wasn't feeling well and fell asleep, and the hotel was incredibly accommodating, allowing us to extend our check-out until 2 PM without any rush or催促, which was particularly heartwarming. The room view was unbeatable, directly facing Tengwang Pavilion from the window. We could even watch the fireworks display from our room, and the staff even proactively reminded us to tune the TV to the music channel to accompany the viewing. Additionally, the robot delivery for takeout was very prompt, and the buffet dinner was affordable, delicious, and offered a wide variety of dishes. The overall experience was impeccable, highly recommended!"

"Walking from Nanchang West Station to the hotel takes about 10 minutes, so it's very close. Despite that, you can't hear any train noise or the sound of toilets flushing from neighboring rooms, which makes for a very quiet stay. The room is spacious, and there's plenty of space to open up luggage without feeling cramped. All the amenities are well-appointed, and the hygiene is also good. The deluxe twin room has a single bed that's 130cm wide, which is enough for two people. There are two types of pillows: memory foam and feather, ensuring a comfortable sleep for your neck. I especially want to highlight the hairdryer; because it was rainy, my shoes were always wet when I returned each day, but the hairdryer was powerful enough to dry them quickly. The room lighting design is also very thoughtful, with options for 0-20%-50%-100%. After turning off all lights, there's a separate reading lamp that doesn't disturb your companion, and an induction light for when you get up at night. The washbasin is at a good height, preventing water from splashing when you turn on the faucet. Besides hand soap, laundry detergent is also provided, which is convenient for washing small items. Other toiletries are all complete. It would be even better if a bar of soap was also provided. The bathroom is clean with good wet/dry separation, and the toilet is automatic flush, so you don't need to touch it. The toilet paper is also of good quality. The door has a peephole, a lock, and a security chain. The breakfast is decent. Both Western and Chinese food options are available. I hope that in the future, they can cater to guests who don't eat spicy food by offering more mild hot dishes. Also, for the Chinese dim sum steamer area, it would be great to have indicator signs outside the steamers so guests don't have to open each one to see what's inside when choosing food! The hotel is about 10 kilometers from the city center and about 45 kilometers from the Haihunhou Scenic Area. There's also Line 1 nearby, so you have various travel options. Overall, the hotel facilities are relatively new, and the staff are warm and friendly. It's highly recommended."

"Let's start with the downsides: 1. The room facilities are clearly aging, including the toilet, shower, and small sofa. The deluxe river-view twin room I stayed in on the 2nd/3rd night had even worse facilities than the executive king room on the first night. 2. The housekeeping department lacks basic amenities like a step stool for children (they said it's only provided for family rooms). 3. Soundproofing isn't great. If your room is a bit close to the elevator lobby, it can get quite noisy. 4. Adjusting the air conditioning temperature didn't seem to have any effect, though the overall comfort was still acceptable. Now for the highlights: 1. The river-facing rooms offer an unbeatable view. The scenery is even more beautiful than in the photos. 2. From a tourist perspective, the location is excellent. Tengwang Pavilion and Dashiyuan are very close, and Wanshou Palace is also within walking distance. 3. The breakfast quality is decent, with a wide variety of options, including many local Nanchang specialties. The view from the restaurant windows during breakfast is also fantastic. 4. Although the hotel is tall, the elevators are fast and the water pressure is good, effectively avoiding common high-rise living issues. 5. The staff at the concierge, front desk, customer service, and restaurant are all very enthusiastic and have a great attitude. Other notes: The afternoon tea provided with the executive room on the first day was quite good. However, the welcome fruit platter was only delivered on the third day and wasn't of great quality."

"I stayed at Holiday Inn Express Nanchang Railway Station and had a very good experience overall. The hotel is located right next to the railway station, which may not be the most scenic or tourist-oriented area, but it was exactly what I needed for convenience. The surroundings are actually quite lively, with plenty of food options nearby. The hotel is connected to or surrounded by a mall full of restaurants and local Jiangxi-style snacks, so finding something to eat is never a problem. The cleanliness was excellent—rooms were very well maintained and comfortable. The staff were also a highlight of the stay: very helpful, friendly, and professional. The reception staff, in particular, were outstanding and made everything easy. One thing I really appreciated was the arranged transport to the railway station. Although it was a small paid service (around 10 RMB), it was extremely convenient. The driver knew exactly where to go and dropped me right at the correct entrance using a route that would have been difficult to figure out on my own—especially in the heat. Breakfast was very good, with a solid selection, mainly Chinese-style. While there aren’t many Western options, the quality is good and the staff are attentive. Overall, I would recommend this hotel, especially if you need to stay near the railway station. It may not be a destination hotel, but for convenience, service, and comfort, it does the job very well."
