"It says non- smoking rooms but not the room I got. I called front desk complained about it and they just sent a staff to being me air freshener which I didn’t use because i have allergies. The smell of cigar triggered my migraine, the smell sticked to my clothes and hair, blankets and pillows smells cigar even the washroom. I had to get out of my room early the following day and wait for 2 hours at the front desk and wait for my service car to pick me up."

AAnonymous UserThe receptionist was very cheerful and the room was very clean! It is also located conveniently in Downtown Calgary. However, the temperature of the shower can be a bit tricky to adjust as it will either be too hot or too cold. But I was very satisfied overall and would recommend this hotel to fellow solo travellers!

GGuest UserThe Hotel is beautiful. From the main entrance, to the rooms and the Little Chief restaurant. Beds were very comfortable. Love the design elements of the room! Each staff encounter was excellent, they always exhibited a high level of customer service. Really appreciated the dining experience! Again the staff were very accommodating and approachable. We chose Indigenous courses that were excellent, although the portions were quite large. We attended the Colin James concert, which was epic! The venue was great! Perfect Birthday celebration!

GGTANKSMy fellow Rotarian and I came for the 2025 Rotary International Conference in Calgary. The stay was pleasant. Service was excellent. Room was cleaned daily which was nice returning to a tidy clean room. Coffee and tea were replenished daily which was great. I will highly recommend to friends and family. The hotel was so close to the airport. Shuttle service was provided to the airport which was convenient. I liked the lobby display ready for the 2015 Calgary Stampede from July 1st 2025 for ten days.

GGuest UserWe stayed at the Deerfoot Inn & ****** hotel because we wanted to try the $50 prime rib buffet at the Mohave Grill. The prime rib was amazing by the way. My husband and noticed that hotels were really expensive that weekend, so we thought to pay an extra $40 and stay somewhere that we thought was going to be more bougie than an Econolodge. Upon check-in, the staff were friendly and let us check in early without an extra charge. The rooms were clean and neat. The beds however were not the most comfortable, so the sleep wasn't that great. The tub was also not the greatest as it feels like it was made for a small child, and I'm a medium build at 5'3. We have stayed in Comfort Inns, Econolodges, and other hotels like them and we found the Deerfoot Inn to be the same room-wise. We got our stay for $200 for the night and that was without a continental breakfast. A lot of the time I have seen this hotel at over $300 a night. I wouldn't stay here again unless the rooms are around $160, which to us is what they should be. It was a waste of the extra $40 to stay here when you can get the same room at a cheaper hotel with breakfast. Yes, they have the ****** so there is a little bit more to do walking around but still not worth the room price.

XXiaoyoujingxinAfter a 15-day group tour of Canada, I was finally ready to settle down and get some much-needed rest in Calgary before continuing my journey with a rental car. I chose this hotel, and the facilities were great in every aspect. It had a fridge, microwave, and kettle, all very suitable for us 'Easterners.' The only drawback, and a significant one at that, was something that greatly affected us seniors: the constant noise from the air conditioner outside the window. It made it impossible for me to rest. Being overtired, it was really tough! I went to the front desk and saw a long line of guests waiting to check in, which clearly indicated the hotel was full and there were no rooms available to switch to. I endured it for two nights. I quickly moved to a nearby hotel to recover my energy.

XXiaoyoujingxinThe location is great! They offer private airport transfers and it's a popular base for tour groups, which is super convenient as you don't have to constantly move around. There are also supermarkets nearby for easy shopping. For those planning a self-drive trip, it's not far from Highway 1, so everything is just perfect. My only slight disappointment was the lack of a hot water kettle in the room, which isn't ideal for us Asians who prefer hot drinks. Also, even though I only stayed one night, I was bothered by two Western girls. First, they were laughing loudly outside my door, then they knocked and ran away, only for me to open the door and see them laughing elsewhere with a phone propped up on the floor filming my doorway. Maybe it was some kind of YouTube prank! Anyway, I felt disturbed by them! I didn't feel comfortable filming them, but I hope the hotel takes this seriously.
