Royal Fine Hotel
"Booked this last minute but it didn’t disappoint. The hotel itself feels welcoming and the staff were really nice. The room may seem small but it had a fresh and organized atmosphere. The cleanliness especially in the bathroom was spot on."
Hotel Cozzi Zhongshan Kaohsiung
"It was wonderful"
Hotel Nikko Kaohsiung
"This was my third stay at this hotel since its grand opening. I visit Kaohsiung about every six months, and overall the experience has been consistently pleasant. The facilities are well designed and maintained , and the staff are friendly and professional . There was one issue during this stay—the shower drainage was clogged, so I had to use the bathtub instead. This is something that ideally shouldn’t happen at all, but the hotel’s response was okay. They came to fix it next morning as it was late. The soundproofing and AC are excellent. I especially enjoyed the hot spring and the gym, both of which are well equipped and relaxing. I didn’t include the buffet breakfast this time, as I preferred grabbing local drinks, buns, and snacks from the 7‑Eleven or FamilyMart just across the street as well as leaving room for lunch later. The desserts at the lobby café were delightful, and the Japanese restaurant was absolutely divine. It’s just a pity that I didn’t know the omakase needs to be pre-booked. The restaurant doesn’t reserve seats for hotel guests or ask about this in advance, which was a bit disappointing. The set menu was very nice. Overall, it’s still a hotel I enjoy staying."
Lunaris Hotel

Grand Hi-Lai Hotel
"Just a one night stay, but well worth it. Beautiful room and view, staff were amazing and friendly."
H2O Hotel
"The check in was very nice, the hotel staff were well trained and provided a pleasant experience. The rooms itself also had more pluses than minuses, my expectations were definitely uplifted upon first checking in. My gripes with the hotel are definitely more of a personal issue, I will start off by stating that I am a very sensitive sleeper and also nitpicky when it comes to my showers. First of all, the room sound proofing was not the best, I could hear the traffic outside the window throughout the night and into the morning. Granted I did stay on the 6th floor, so I'd imagine this becomes less of an issue the higher the room is located (up to 19th floor). Second, the bed was very slightly uneven and bumpy. Like a well-worn bed that has been slept on many a nights, the maintenance of the mattress was not stellar. For travellers that can knock themselves out even on a wooden plank, this probably won't faze you. But for those on the unlucky spectrum of sensitive sleepers like myself, it was a nightmare. So much so that I opted to check out early at 6AM the second morning, because I couldn't get a wink of sleep in. Lastly, the showers. This isn't about the water quality, because Kaohsiung is known to have hard water and poor water quality that cannot be compensated by water softeners no matter where you go. But this hotel simply does not allow for cold showers, to my bafflement. My body temperature runs pretty warm, so I usually have cold showers to help me regulate my temperature. The hotel shower starts off cool, but after nary a few seconds the coldest end of the knob turns into fully warm water. You can only choose between warm or really hot showers. This came as a shocker, because KS is also known to be really warm all year round. Only having warm or hot showers sound like a potential safety hazard for travellers not well acclimated to the heat. I do not know if this is a byproduct of the types of water treatment the hotel uses to treat the hard water supply, but it was definitely very off-putting to say the least. Overall, the hotel was decent on the surface. There was class and quality in its well maintained splendour. But for my fellow sensitive and higher maintenance travellers out there, I would recommend opting for another hotel if you're in the ballpark to spend on a classy hotel anyways."
The Tree House
"It's my second time being there but this time me and my friends didn't like taking longer hours swimming in the pool coz it's kinda dirty and there's a lot of moss in it. Please clean the pool regularly for your customer satisfaction. But overall it was a good experience as always."
InterContinental Hotels KAOHSIUNG by IHG
"Enjoy the service and the food, especially the Japanese restaurant on the 5th floor called WA-RA! They even had a light show at certain periods!"
E-Da Royal Hotel
"Been here for the second time, will come back again soon."
Kaohsiung Marriott Hotel
"The room is so big it is so clean I love the bathroom and the bathtub"
TAI Urban Resort
"One of the more luxurious places to stay in the South. Full amenities with design like a library."
Howard Plaza Hotel Kaohsiung
"The staff are all friendly and the place are great"

"Good !!"
Kindness Hotel (Kaohsiung Station)
"Conveniently located across the main train station (to note it is not the high speed rail station) and within walking distance to Liuhe night market. Familiar fast food establishments are also nearby. Hotel also provides a refreshment area at level 1 where guests have access to ice cream, biscuits, drinks."
Kindness Hotel - Kaohsiung Jyuemin
"The hotel was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The room was quiet so it was easy to sleep. It is located a bit further out and away from an MTR station so getting around can take a while. The staff were friendly and responsive."
Midtown Richardson-Kaohsiung Bo Ai
"Excellent location with MRT within 5mins walk. The staff is friendly and the room is clean. As we got the city family room , the toilet and bathroom layout is not convenient for mixed gender sharing the room."
Fullon Poshtel Kaohsiung
"Very new hotel, suite room very spacious for 3 person, have good breakfast included in room rate, lots of restaurant nearby"
