The pillows and bed were just right – not too soft, not too firm – so I slept really well. The staff were super attentive and always on top of our needs. They offer afternoon tea and a happy hour with red and white wine. Plus, the location is great, very close to the train station.

I'm really impressed by how dedicated and friendly the staff are here. Everyone was smiling and so welcoming. The location is also super convenient, very close to Kaohsiung Station. And the food they offer is absolutely fantastic! I'll definitely be staying here again.

By the time we arrived at the hotel from the airport, it was already 7:00. We checked in after the hot food service had ended, but the staff member, Ella, was amazing. She went all the way up to the hot food area on the second floor and prepared a large plate of hot food for us, and even brought us a glass of red wine. It was incredibly thoughtful! I will definitely stay here again next time, and the bed was very comfortable for me.

Conveniently located near Kaohsiung Station, the room was tidy, clean, and very spacious. There are also convenience stores and breakfast shops nearby, perfect for trying some nostalgic local flavors, and it's super easy to get around for transfers.

Clean and tidy, with a small welcome gift upon check-in. However, the water was in glass bottles, which wasn't very convenient.

If you're still undecided on where to stay in Kaohsiung, I highly recommend this hotel! I meticulously chose this one after extensive searching on Trip. While my budget doesn't quite stretch to a five-star hotel, for a four-star option, I believe this place offers exceptional value for money. The afternoon tea and breakfast provided by the hotel were both very generous. Although there are plenty of dining options nearby, the hotel's meals alone were so satisfying that I couldn't possibly eat anything else. The overall environment is incredibly comfortable. The entire hotel, from the lobby to the rooms, had a pleasant fragrance, making you feel relaxed the moment you step in. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making for a truly excellent stay. Furthermore, the hotel's location near Kaohsiung Station is incredibly convenient. It's within walking distance, making it easy to access by train, High-Speed Rail, or MRT. Usually, when I stay at a hotel, I don't necessarily need a lot of high-end facilities. For us, a hotel that's clean, comfortable, offers great service, and is reasonably priced is actually the perfect choice. The hotel's name is Jo Ho. I initially thought it meant "very good" (很好), but after looking it up, it seems to carry the meaning of "blessing," which is a fun play on words. Currently, the hotel doesn't seem to be a chain. I hope such a thoughtful and comfortable hotel can continue to operate steadily and improve even further in the future!

The environment is excellent and very clean. I slept really well, and the facilities are comprehensive. The service was very attentive, and everything was explained thoroughly. The hygiene was also top-notch and very clean. The front desk staff were very kind. Taiwan is great; I'll definitely come again next time.
