FX Hotel Kaohsiung

A very standard budget hotel. The room is spacious, and the bathroom is large with no issues with hot water. Slippers and toiletries are provided. The air conditioning works well. The location isn't far from Central Park, Formosa Boulevard, and a nearby MRT station.

This hotel is pretty good, offering excellent value for money. It's close to Central Park MRT Station and not far from Liuhe Night Market. There's a water dispenser right outside the elevator providing both hot and cold water, which is super convenient.

The room was clean and tidy, and the hotel is very close to Cianjin Metro Station, not far from Liuhe Tourist Night Market either. The staff were polite, but they lacked empathy towards guests, which is a shame as it really takes away from the warm hospitality Southern Taiwan is known for. A special thanks to the gentleman with glasses who helped us switch to a king-sized bed – he's the only one truly deserving of praise! 👍 Both the washing machine and dryer are coin-operated; you can get tokens at the front desk, where they also sell laundry powder. It's best to bring your own travel-sized detergent and toiletries as drinking water isn't provided. There were quite a few tour groups, mostly from Europe and America.

Honestly, hotels in Taiwan are pretty much all the same, but I was quite satisfied with this one. Its location is good, and it offers great value for money. I'd definitely recommend it.
