Explore the drawbacks of Switzerland eSIM
While Switzerland eSIM offers convenience, there are several drawbacks you need to consider before purchasing.
One installation on one device
One disadvantage of Switzerland eSIM is that it may restrict your installation on one device. If you delete this activated eSIM on the device accidentally, you may need to buy another new one. It is different from the traditional SIM cards where you can easily switch between multiple devices with just an insertion.
Device compatibility
While newer devices generally support eSIM technology, older devices may not be compatible. For some old device users, you may upgrade your device to use eSIM, which can be costly.
Limited on voice and message
Compared to traditional SIM cards, Switzerland eSIM may offer fewer plan options, especially restricted functions of voice and message. Most eSIMs only support data. You may find the plans that align with your specific usage needs.
With these drawbacks, you can carefully determine if Switzerland eSIM is the right choice for your connectivity needs.
