Our flight was delayed, and we arrived at the hotel in the early morning. The male front desk staff on duty was fluent in English and very kind, which made our late check-in smooth. The hotel room furniture and amenities are a bit dated, but overall they were kept clean. However, we had a very unpleasant experience at the fitness center. After using the swimming pool, we tried to use the spin dryer in the changing room, but it didn't work. When we asked the fitness staff for help, they rudely dismissed the issue and bluntly said it was impossible without even checking. Fortunately, when we inquired at the 1st-floor lobby, a staff member named William helped us deal with this issue. He personally accompanied us back to the fitness center and thoughtfully arranged for us to use the staff dryer. We are deeply grateful for William’s professional and kind service. That being said, the hotel needs to address a few operational issues: The mini spin dryer in the changing room should be repaired or replaced promptly. The senior staff member at the fitness center showed a poor professional attitude —shirked responsibilities by pushing tasks onto a subordinate who claimed that day was her first day working at the hotel fitness center (believe it or not), and was impolite to guests. Service retraining for the fitness center staffs is strongly recommended.

Coco from guest services contacted me in advance by phone to discuss my request for a river view and a high floor, but the room arranged for me faced an office building. However, other service responses were very prompt, and they even gave me a small bear when I checked out. I would consider staying here again next time. The afternoon tea and executive lounge were decent, just enough to fill you up 🤣, but the hot food tasted average. The à la carte Black Forest cake was delicious and very good value at 38 yuan a slice. They use Valrhona chocolate, which is indeed a Kempinski signature, though the presentation was different from the slices in Nanjing. The lounge on the 31st floor has a great view; going early to grab a spot with a river view for a drink is very pleasant.

Every staff member here is incredibly enthusiastic with their service! This time, I was traveling with my parents and child, and we were given connecting rooms. With the connecting door open, it couldn't have been more convenient! During our stay, I urgently needed to print some documents, and the front desk quickly helped me out, which was fantastic! You absolutely *must* try the Napoleon from the Deli on the first floor; I highly recommend it! At checkout, they even gave my child a commemorative room key with their name on it, which was such a thoughtful touch! Next time I'm in Chongqing, I'll definitely stay at the Hyatt again~ ❤️

It's not far from Guanyin Bridge, and even closer to Jiantian Street. Hmm, I'd give it a 4.7 out of 5.

I'm a light sleeper and usually can't sleep on the first night whenever I travel. Unexpectedly, I had no problems sleeping during my three-day stay. Maybe I was just exhausted and fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow. The hotel was very quiet. There's a glass door at the entrance to the rooms after you exit the elevator, which closes at night and requires a room card to enter, making it feel very secure! It's also very close to the pedestrian street, and most importantly, the price is really good value for money… haha!

Housekeeping was prompt; they even helped us with laundry while we were out exploring. Food delivery riders can bring orders directly to your room. Honestly, if it's not too hot, a short walk will get you to a ton of great food options. You can easily walk to Jiefangbei and Hongyadong from here, and to get to Liziba, you can take Line 2. Across the street from the hotel, you get a great mountain view, and you can even spot the Golden Eagle. I highly recommend this place for anyone who loves food and exploring!

The hotel is conveniently located next to the Bayi Food Street and Jiaochangkou Night Market, a bustling and vibrant area with all sorts of popular internet-famous eateries. It's also incredibly well-connected, just a five-minute walk from the subway station, and you can easily walk to Shibati (Eighteen Stairs). My room on a higher floor had excellent soundproofing, was clean and tidy, and very quiet at night. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, simply fantastic! 👍🏻

I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property.  Everyone was so nice and kind.  The service was top- notch.  The amenities were plenty and easy accessible.   A few extras that made everything worth it were the full- sized refrigerator, with freezer, the washing machine (for which they provided soap as well), dish washer, stove top, towel drier ( in the washroom) and full sized closet.  The view was so beautiful and calming as well.   Everything about this room was just so nice and exactly what I needed.     I didn’t realize how perfect the location was in relation to almost everything that I wanted to see.   When I figured that out, I just got up every day and walked to everything that I needed or wanted to see.   It was extremely close to a lot of restaurants, malls, local shops and smaller attractions.  I was less than a 10 -15 minute walk to Raffles City Shopping Center where there is a 5 story mall, Movie theatre, roof top attraction with the swing,  SKY WALK and also the river front park with amazing views.  Same distance for Hongyadong, the viewing platform, the Qiansemen Bridge- if you wanted to walk across the bridge at night- I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!  There is so much to see and experience between the hotel and these attractions.  Your days will be filled with fun and adventure.    If ever I have the opportunity to come back to the city, I will very excited to repeat this experience.
