FF.CHENGRoom size and amenities are excellent.
There is some drainage smell in the bathroom during my stay but the water pressure and temperature offset that part.
It's important to have a nice shower and hair wash in Lisbon summer after going out everyday.
The little kitchen and dining table is absolutely value-added.
Location is fair though you could still walk to the city centre in 25 mins if you don't want to pay for transport
Lots of breakfast options in the surrounding.
During my 4-night stay, we came across with fire alarm in the midnight at 3am ish.
Everybody went down stairs to find out what happened.
As everything is digitalised, no guest is able to speak to a real person staff to find out what happened as the fire alarm keeps ringing for over 20 mins.
The emergency sign along the stairs is not clear enough. We didn't know we by-passed ground floor already so we kept going down until we reached the car park which is 2 floors down the ground floor, ie. Basement.
We had to go up again inside the car park and found the exit to the ground floor.
Imagine if a fire takes place and it gets lots of smoke around, it's could be life threatening in such a situation.
Some of the residents retrieved the booking confirmation email and found the emergency contact which led us to contact the property via WhatsApp and saying someone will be on site to find out what happened and whether it's safe to re-enter the building again.
We got automated email asking us not to enter the building until it's clear what happened
In about 30 mins, a guy from the fire alarm company arrived and turned the alarm off.
He explained one of the rooms triggered that alarm.
But the guest staying in the room was with the main group on scene and said she was sleeping when the alarm rang!
No cooking or smoking inside the room at all.
That guy re-assured it's safe to re-enter the building so it was about 4am when we back to our room.
We couldn't sleep again given adter running up and down.
So this is how it goes.
The hardware of the room is perfect but if you want real person support at the time when tou needed it most, I'm not sure if that's your choice.

WariyukiI won’t recommend this apartment though it is only less than 10 mins walk from the Martim Moniz metro station and the city centre.
The apartment is located at the back alley of some old buildings. There were a lot of homeless people and wanderers at both ends of the alleys. The most unacceptable thing was that the alley was stinky with the very bad smell of urine and garbage. Since the apartment is inside the alley that car cannot go inside, even we took Uber, we still need to walk 2-min from either end of the alley to the apartment.
Unfortunately we were assigned with a room on the ground level of the 4-storey apartment. To be exact, the room was slightly below ground level, meaning that we could see the feet of the people walking on the street through the 2 windows of our room. It was also a bit noisy when people talked on the street, parked their bicycle right at the windows of our room. Obviously we couldn’t open our windows or curtains, meaning that it was like staying in a room without windows. We have asked for a change of room. Since we were staying there for 7 nights, we also didn’t mind to change for only a few nights in the middle of the stay, however we were not provided with any option to change our room even though we booked this apartment 4 MONTHS ago (not the last minute customers).
Besides, the sound proofing of the apartment was bad. We could hear everyone talking outside. Since it’s the ground floor unit, there were more people passing by and going up to different floors and in and out the building, all sounds were quite annoying especially during the late night. Among the 7 nights, there were also 2 nights having some sorts of alarm in the mid nights for over 30 minutes. All these issues were very disturbing too.
Adding to it, the bed and pillows of the apartment were too hard and not comfortable to us. We didn’t have any good sleep unfortunately.
Nevertheless the interior of the apartment was fine, spacious and clean. Decoration was modern, daily house-keeping was also fine. There were aircon, washer and dryer, a basic coffee filter machines but not Nespresso coffee machine.

The hotel is a little over a kilometer downhill from the old town. While it's a bit of a distance from the main tourist attractions, both the bus and metro stations aren't too far, and the surrounding area is very quiet. Taxis are also cheap and convenient.
The young front desk staff were all very warm and welcoming; anything we needed was brought up right away.
Every night at 10 PM, the hotel has a 15-minute light show featuring many of Lisbon's sights. I missed it the first night, but I made an effort to watch it the second night, and it was quite interesting.

The hotel is very easy to find, and it's located in an old building with European characteristics. The room even has a washing machine and dryer, which is very convenient and you can easily buy some groceries at the supermarket and cook them yourself. It's very enjoyable, and the surrounding area is full of beautiful scenery!

Guest UserOur go-to hotel in Lisbon. It's well-located (near Campolide and Sete Rios), the front office staff are excellent, the restaurant is very pleasant, and the beds are super comfortable, both in the suites and standard rooms. This is where our son learned to walk in 2024, and where we'll always return whenever we're in Lisbon.

The room is spacious. Clean and has good amenities. It smelled bad inside the elevator all the time. The lobby isn't very present with dirty floors. Breakfast was average. The location was good for me, but a few metro stops away from the touristy spots. But it's a safe location w plenty of other hotel chains, office buildings and restaurants.

Guest UserWe were originally scheduled to fly home on the same morning as our son, but on different flights. Around 5 AM that day, we found out our son's flight was canceled, while ours was still on schedule, leaving us with very little time. Our son wanted to stay an extra day at this hotel to use their gym (we had stayed there for a night two days prior). In my haste to book, I accidentally put my husband's name instead of my son's as the guest. We quickly checked on it after our flight landed, and thankfully, our son successfully checked in. So grateful! 😊 The Uber ride from the hotel to the airport was only CAD$6.

Breakfast was great with a wide selection. The beds were good too. In the bathroom, there was only a shower in the bathtub… The spa area, including the sauna and steam bath, really needs an upgrade; both are extremely small and old. The rooftop pool could be used if it weren't so windy.

Guest UserFrom now on Evolution Lisbon will my favorite hotel in Lisbon. It is the best in Lisbon! I made it my home during my 14 day remote working trip. The 24 hours sauna and gym are extraordinary service, really suits solo remote workaholic like me who does not want to be bound by fixed schedules when concentrated in work. The surrounding of the hotel has ALL that you need. From supermarkets, malls, to even dance studios, all that you need is in walking distance. Reception ladies are formidable, I particularly like the sweet trainee who received my contact lens parcel I ordered online to be delivered at the hotel. She is sweet and helpful; also her colleagues who without any doubts helped with printing some documents which I needed urgently. And the housekeeping team, although I did not need cleaning everyday (I have OCD so the room was always kept clean haha) the housekeepers kept asking me if I needed anything. I did not use the co working area but it looked very relaxing and stylish. And something special about the room: the fridge. It has a size that is different from what we are used to (4 drinks and no more) It looks tiny from outside but it could cater my 5 day snacks, including a 1.5l coke. I think it is the door design? Check it out and you will know what I am talking about haha. Lastly I only have 2 suggestions (not critics!) One is that the hotel should offer its guests discounts when spending in its F&B outlets. This would make guests feel special when inviting a friend for a drink in the hotel property. Even 5% is good. Another is to install a mirror in the gym. Gym lovers like to see what they are doing wrong :) Thank you Team for providing me such a good time in Lisbon!

Guest UserOverall great stay. It was a comfortable experience in a spacious room compared to a typical hotel room. Only downside is that it is bit further away from the city center so bit additional travel was required, but for the price and comfort I did not mind it. Only thing I wish they had was washer/dryer.
