daalilazOld hotel but I think it got refurbished because the room feels modern. Love the balcony as we can enjoy the view without feeling too exposed. Decent breakfast spread, the nasi lemak was good! Chose an outdoor seating and it was the best experience ever. The crews are all so friendly & helpful. Requested for a paid late checkout as we went to see Jeriau Waterfall after breakfast but upon checkout at 2pm they said the lateness fee was waived. Bless them!

XingyunbaobaotutuziThe room isn't big, but it's pretty clean. However, the soundproofing is terrible; the noise from motorcycles and cars is so loud that it's hard to sleep. The hairdryer surprisingly didn't have hot air! And you have to walk so far to get to the hotel breakfast that I only went once out of three mornings.

Although the exterior of the hotel looks a little dated, don’t let that fool you—the interior is beautiful, clean, and well maintained. The room and bathroom were spotless. The towels, bed linens, and pillowcases were clean, fresh, and smelled great.
The room was also well equipped with almost everything you might need, including an iron, hair dryer, face towels, and room slippers. The air conditioning and lighting worked perfectly throughout my stay.
One feature I especially appreciated was the reading light above the bed. I don’t like sleeping in complete darkness, so being able to leave just that light on made the room very comfortable for me. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel.

WT LiewI recently had the pleasure of staying at B&J Tioman Dive Resort on Tioman Island, and the experience exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I arrived until the day I left, it was clear why B&J has built such a strong reputation among divers and travelers alike.
One of the first things that impressed me was the cleanliness of the accommodation. The room was well-maintained, comfortable, and spotless throughout my stay. Housekeeping standards were consistently high, making it easy to relax after a day of diving and exploration. The resort grounds were also kept clean and tidy, creating a welcoming and pleasant environment that reflected the professionalism of the entire team.
What truly made the experience special, however, was the people. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, approachable, and genuinely eager to help. Whether it was assistance at the reception, advice on local activities, or help with dive logistics, the team always greeted guests with a smile. The dive instructors and divemasters deserve particular praise. They were knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about sharing the beauty of Tioman’s underwater world. Their enthusiasm was infectious and helped create a fun and relaxed atmosphere both above and below the surface.
As a diver, I greatly appreciated the balance that B&J strikes between enjoyment and safety. Every dive was well-organized and professionally conducted. Safety briefings were thorough, equipment checks were carried out carefully, and the dive guides remained attentive throughout the dives. Despite maintaining high safety standards, the team ensured that the dives remained enjoyable and memorable. Their familiarity with local dive sites allowed us to maximize our underwater experience while feeling secure at all times. It is reassuring to dive with professionals who clearly prioritize guest safety without compromising the fun and excitement of exploring the reefs.
Another highlight of staying at B&J was the abundance of delicious food available nearby. The resort’s location provides easy access to a variety of eateries offering local Malaysian dishes, fresh seafood, Western options, and refreshing drinks. After a day spent underwater, it was wonderful to have so many excellent dining choices within walking distance. The combination of great diving and great food made every day on the island something to look forward to.
Overall, my stay at B&J Tioman Dive Resort was outstanding. The clean accommodation, warm and friendly staff, professional dive team, strong safety culture, and excellent food options combined to create an unforgettable holiday experience. I would not hesitate to recommend B&J to anyone visiting Tioman Island, whether they are experienced divers, new divers, or simply looking for a relaxing island getaway. Thank you to the entire B&J team for making my trip so enjoyable, and I look forward to returning again in the future.

Guest UserThe suite was good and spacious. It has balcony and the facility around that area is quite good. The view also nice. There is a few cafe to choose from, and retail outlet like The News and KK Mart outlet. There are basic room item provided such as iron and iron board, slippers, toothbrush, soap & Shampoo, kettle, coffee & tea, mugs, TV, safety box and hair dryer, but there is no mineral/drinking water, small fridge or microwave provided. However the check in is quite tricky as you may find the person arranging check in staying in the alley nearby The News outlet, there is no proper reception counter available. The customer service will not answer your call. They only reply via what's app so do not bother to call, you may get scolded by the lady who answered. This can be said as not a hotel service, so do not expect that kind of services from this provider. It is more like AirBnB style. However it was a nice stay just during the night i don't know why there is strange shouting and yelling and disturbing sound once in a while came out from nowhere. so it's quite disturbing my sleep a few time wake up in a shock hearing something unwelcoming sound. But if your ear is sound proof while sleeping i think it will not becoming a problem to you.

Ray Mak Hon KitThe past few days in Kuantan, we stayed at Kuantan Imperium Seaview by AVANZEE and honestly, we loved the experience.
Check-in was smooth, fast and hassle-free. The security guards and staff stationed near the mail room were friendly, welcoming and very accommodating, making the entire process feel easy and comfortable right from the beginning.
Our unit was located on the 7th floor. The room was clean, spacious and beautifully designed with a modern aesthetic feel. It felt like a cozy studio apartment equipped with a simple kitchenette complete with microwave oven, water filter, kettle, refrigerator and kitchen utensils. Hairdryer and iron were also thoughtfully prepared inside the built-in wall cupboard, giving the room a sleek and minimalist appearance.
The TV came with Netflix and YouTube, though we barely had time to use them because Kuantan itself has so much to explore. Internet speed was decent too, which is important especially for travellers, foreigners or content creators who need reliable connectivity.
The bathroom was modern, clean and well-maintained. Shampoo and bath gel were provided as well.
One thing we really appreciated was the sleeping arrangement. Besides the main bed, there were also two very comfortable sofa beds. A family of four can easily stay here comfortably, or even more if travelling with young children. Extra pillows and blankets were also prepared in the cupboard.
Location wise, it’s almost perfect. The property is peacefully located slightly away from the busy city centre, yet still close enough for convenience — just across a short bridge. This balance makes it feel like a relaxing seaside escape without being too isolated.
The seaside is located directly beside the property and is only a short walk from the carpark. Every morning, we could see locals collecting clams along the shore. Their buckets were filled with white clams and edible sea snails, which was honestly quite fascinating to watch.
The facilities here are excellent too. There’s a beautiful swimming pool, wet and dry playgrounds for children, barbecue area and plenty of family-friendly amenities, making it an ideal destination for a family getaway or staycation.
But perhaps the highlight for us was the breathtaking view from the room. Being on the East Coast of Malaysia, we were treated to stunning sunrises every morning as the sunlight reflected beautifully across the crystal-clear sea water. Sunset views can also be enjoyed from the opposite side in the evening.
Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely return again — hopefully next time together with the kids and our parents.

NicoleSGI loved this hotel for its excellent location, charming old wooden furniture, and breathtaking views. The hotel is conveniently located about a 10-minute walk from restaurants and food courts, making it easy to explore the area. The staff were attentive and welcoming, and the room service was reliable and efficient.
That said, the building is quite old, and some areas, especially the hallways and bathrooms, could benefit from refurbishment. Unfortunately, my stay was affected by bedbugs in my room. Although the staff responded quickly and offered me a room change immediately, I encountered the same issue in the second room as well.
Overall, it’s a beautiful hotel with a lot of character and a stunning setting. While the older section could use some updating, the hotel does offer a newer wing that guests can upgrade to for an additional charge.

ArchLovesTravelIt’s a homestay concept with rooms and kitchen tool. Everything about the property is ok except these:
1. Curtain at the hall sliding door accessing to the balcony should be a blackout curtain instead
2. There’s no stepper/door mat at each of the bathrooms. This made the floor wet and unsafe
3. Basic tv channels are there. It’s best to have more options to have entertainment indoor with family/friends
4. Door knob in the common bathroom and 2nd bedroom are faulty. One of our friend were stuck in the room till we discovered that it should be turned upwards

I like the greeneries and getaway from city environment. Service is good as well. However, I really want to urge the management to look into the breakfast quality. It looks like the breakfast has fair variety, but food quality would be something that could stop me from going again.
Other than that, all good.

Anonymous UserThis place is in an attractive and strategic location. It has a private beach with beautiful views and no traffic noise – very peaceful. There are swimming pools for both children and adults. For the kids' pool, there's no entertainment, so you'll need to bring your own pool toys if you want your children to play. There are many room types available and they are very comfortable. You can ask the resort for advice on room selection, as some rooms face the beach and some don't. Some require using a lift, while others allow you to park your car right next to the room. Regardless, always ask the resort for advice on the type of accommodation. This resort is also senior-friendly because it's mostly flat, without many stairs to climb. Breakfast is commensurate with the price. It's a standard open-air resort, so don't expect 5-star hotel standards. But overall, my friends and I are very satisfied. We might try a different room type next time.
