5-Star Hotels in Melaka State, Malaysia

This trip was booked for my father's birthday. I requested a small surprise and they really delivered the request, appreciated it soooomuch! Due to my parents health concern, they even gave them roomthat very near to the lift. Accessible and convenient! The weekend was clashed with the Harley Davidson event, and we having fun watching them too! We got the chance to use the kids room, and its so huge. Kid got time get some colouring and some parents are having quality times with their kids like us. The pool was good. Thank you Park Royal team and Trip.com! We had a pleasant stay overall. The breakfast was nice, although it would be great if the menu could be alternated rather than serving the same items on consecutive days. There wasn’t a huge variety, but it was still enjoyable, and I especially loved the egg tarts! The rooms were clean and comfortable. However, unfortunately, there was a noticeable urine smell in the toilet, which made us feel that it may not have been cleaned thoroughly. I’m not sure what the housekeeping protocol is, but it would be great if the toilet could be properly scrubbed and disinfected after each guest for better hygiene and freshness. On a positive note, the front desk staff were very friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with our requests. We really appreciated their warm service. Thank you very much for making our stay a pleasant one. We would definitely consider staying again, and we hope the toilet-cleaning situation can be improved for future stay.

City center hotel. Easy access to A Famosa, Dataran Pahlawan, Jonker Walk, it's convenient because everything is within walking distance. The staff are also friendly, asking about room upgrades or add-ons. Everything was handled smoothly. Housekeeping is also quick. Breakfast is always delicious.

This time I chose the Dusit Thani Princess Hotel in Malacca, Malaysia. Since I took a long-distance bus from Kuala Lumpur to Malacca, I arrived at the hotel after 3 PM. At the front desk, the staff upgraded me to a room on a higher floor and gave me a 50 MYR dining voucher. I immediately went to the Western restaurant on the first floor and filled my stomach with warm pasta and a vegetable salad, which was incredibly heartwarming. The room was quite spacious with a great view, overlooking the scenery of Malacca, with the Malacca River below. It's a five-minute drive to the Red Square (Dutch Square), the lively Jonker Street, and other main attractions like the A Famosa ruins. The breakfast offered a rich mix of Chinese and Western dishes. The staff member, Joey, even patiently helped me download a ride-hailing app, which was very thoughtful. This hotel left me with wonderful memories and is highly recommended!

The front desk staff were very enthusiastic. The hotel is newly opened and is already one of the better options in the area. The hotel breakfast was average; while there were many options, the quality was just so-so. The Strait of Malacca is nice. You can also go to Jonker Street to try the 'monster instant noodles,' which are very unique!!!

HARGA BILIK & PENDAFTARAN MASUK Kebiasaannya harga bilik di Hotel The Lisbon sekitar RM 300± tapi bila dapat harga RM183± tanpa sarapan di Trip.com memang berbaloi. Urusan pendaftaran sangat cepat, mesra dan mudah. Tidak seperti hotel kebiasaan, staf receptionist The Lisbon memang wajar dipuji kerana bila kita sampai di kaunter, mereka dah standby siap kad bilik dan borang yg perlu diisi dalam satu folder plastik, jadi hanya perlu mention nama penuh, mereka terus beri borang utk diisi dan bayar RM5 utk heritage charge. Tiada deposit yg mahal lagi mengarut dikenakan. BILIK Sesuai dengan harga, bilik lengkap dengan katil berserta tilam yg empuk. TV ada Netflix, Youtube, AppleTV, Prime and so on. Juga lengkap dgn iron, coffee corner, hair dryer, safety box, bath robe dan tuala. Tidak lupa utk buat Muslim, sejadah ada disediakan di sini. Namun sayang sekali utk toilet, tiada botol kecil syampu utk dibawa balik sbg kenangan dan saya ada request complimentary deco for anniversary yg ringkas spt deco tuala tapi mungkin pihak mereka terlepas pandang email permintaan saya tapi The Lisbon menebus silap terlepas pandang dengan beri sarapan percuma utk 2 org SARAPAN Banyak pilihan sarapan yg tersedia meskipun dihidang dalam kuantiti yg kurang sedikit mungkin berdasarkan faktor bilangan tetamu. Namun, wajar dipuji kerana banyak pilihan dan sedap. Bagi mereka ada anak kecil, jangan terlepas pandang seksyen makanan utk anak² ada disediakan siap dengan kertas lukisan mewarna jika anak² bosan. PERSEKITARAN Cantik, ada kolam renang yg luas utk dewasa dan kanak². klasik sinonim dengan nama The Lisbon Melaka. Tapi mungkin kekangan atau kekurangan manpower, jadi ada few tempat agak kelihatan semak Overall, The Lisbon Melaka boleh menjadi hotel mesra keluarga jika The Lisbon kekal menjaga kualiti sampai bila². Repeat? definitely yes. Moga maju jaya buat The Lisbon Melaka

Overall, I really liked this hotel with its strong Nanyang (Southeast Asian) charm. From the exterior to the room decor, everything felt great. It's within walking distance to attractions and close to the TBS bus station, just a fifteen-minute drive away. However, there were a few things I wasn't happy about: 1. I didn't realize beforehand that breakfast here is à la carte and only starts at 7:00 AM. It also takes a while for the food to be prepared. Since we had already booked our bus back to Kuala Lumpur for 9:00 AM, there was no time to eat. It was a shame, and we couldn't get a refund either. The staff kindly packed two boxes of bread for us, but for a breakfast costing several hundred for four people, it wasn't worth it. If you want to enjoy breakfast properly, definitely plan your time carefully. 2. We were three adults and one child, but we were required to book two rooms. Even though the rooms were spacious, we couldn't add an extra bed. 3. The soundproofing in the rooms was very poor. We could clearly hear our neighbors showering and flushing the toilet at night, and it was quite noisy. 4. We were charged 600 RMB for the two rooms upon check-in. I paid with a credit card, but upon check-out, I was told the refund would take 15 business days to be credited back to my account. That's quite annoying.

Good hotel ambience, large space for the room and friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast has lots of variety & we enjoyed it. The location is a bit secluded but near with many attractions in ayer keroh. As for now, free parking is available. A convenient 3-min drive to the wedding place (villa istana melaka)

The room was very spacious, and there were several delicious restaurants right across the street downstairs, including a local Nyonya cuisine spot and a Korean BBQ place. Taxis were easy to hail, making it convenient to get anywhere. The outdoor swimming pool was incredibly comfortable; a swim in the evening was absolutely delightful.

The hotel facilities are clean and comfortable, and check-in was very convenient. There were no issues even for those with limited English. The location is also easily accessible by taxi, and it's close to the attractions I wanted to visit. It's only about a 10-minute ride to the Melaka Straits Mosque and Jonker Street. Highly recommended!
