this hotel is good overall, but when we arrived, they told us that we didn't have a booking with them and they couldn't locate our booking and details. the room was also said to be taken, and they are waiting for a cancellation in order to get our room. There is a lot of confusion among staff. some visitors were told to leave their rooms once they have entered. we waiting 1 hr 30 min to get our room. so check in was at 4.30pm. parking was also very inconvenient, as we had to park at the basement, which was impossible to even get one if you came into the hotel late and a T&G card was also needed to get validated before leaving the hotel if we wanted a free spot. Room was very spacious and clean. the tea and coffee was hard like its never been changed.

The room was great, very clean and comfortable, and the front desk service was on point. Although the hotel is a bit older, it is very well-maintained overall. It is conveniently located within walking distance of several popular spots, including the Cecil Street Market. There are plenty of authentic local snacks and night markets nearby. I stayed for two consecutive nights and slept soundly—the bedding was crisp and fresh, and the room amenities were fully stocked. It felt very safe, and I was very satisfied with my stay. Highly recommended!

Had a really pleasant stay at Georgetown Urban Suite. The unit was clean, spacious and comfortable, and everything was well maintained. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped with the necessary facilities. The overall environment was cosy and relaxing, making it a great place to stay after a long day exploring Penang. The location was also convenient and easy to get around from. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and I would definitely recommend this place to others!

The hotel is quite new with spacious rooms and offers great value for money. However, after checking in, a series of issues made our stay quite uncomfortable. First, regarding the front desk service: although there is a Chinese-speaking receptionist, most of the time we were assisted by one who doesn't speak Chinese. Moreover, her attitude toward white guests was noticeably better than toward Asian guests—it went from friendly smiles to cold indifference. Also, as shown in p1–p2, the Americano we ordered at the lobby café had a small bug in it. The front desk offered to remake it, but we were rushing to catch a flight and had no time to wait, yet they didn't waive the charge for the coffee, and the matter was just left unresolved. Secondly, as shown in p3, the AC remote control didn't work properly; we had to stand almost right next to the air conditioner for a few buttons to respond, and we couldn't adjust the temperature at all. Every time we entered the room, we had to spend half an hour just wrestling with the air conditioner. Finally, as shown in p4, the door latch in our room had been removed for some reason. A friend staying on another floor said their latch was intact, which made us feel very insecure when sleeping at night.

The hotel was clean and comfortable, with friendly staff and convenient facilities. The location was great, and the room was well-maintained. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Everything was good overall. Clear check-in instructions and important guidelines were given before arrival. The room is spacious and clean. The only downside was that the location was a little far from the busy area, but it’s also very easy to get around Penang by Grab.

The best thing about this hotel is it's location! The hotel is walking distance or very short Grab to a lot of famous food such as Nasi Kandar, Char Kuew Teow, cendol and other hawker food! It is also near to Hin Bus Depot, known for its Sunday flea market. U will find local vendors selling all kinds of products ranging from craft, food drinks and more! As for the rooms, air cond was perfect for the hot penang weather. Room isn't too cramp either for a city hotel. Staffs were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They even have a gym and swimming pool! The only negative point I can think of is parking space might be limited if u are driving

Had a pleasant stay at M Social Hotel Tanjung Bungah. The rooms are newly refurbished, spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel was previously known as Copthorne, but it has now been refurbished, so everything feels fresh and new. We requested a baby cot, and the hotel provided it free of charge, which was really appreciated. Another nice touch is the water dispenser located outside the room, where guests can refill their water bottles as much as needed. The overall ambience is nice and the stay was comfortable. The only downside for me was that the breakfast spread was a little limited in terms of variety. Overall, a very pleasant stay and I’d definitely consider coming back.

The hotel just opened today, so it is brand new, extremely comfortable, and we stayed for three nights. The pros: 1. Baby-friendly: They provided a brand new crib, and at breakfast, there were brand new high chairs and plastic tableware for babies. 2. The exterior and rooms are very well-designed, blending a Southeast Asian aesthetic, which is pleasing to the eye. The toiletries are good, the shower water gets very hot and is very comfortable, and the towels are pristine white and clean. 3. The staff are super friendly and always greeted our baby, whether we were coming and going or during breakfast. We forgot our room card twice, and they patiently issued us new ones. Umbrellas are available to borrow, and they don't rush you to return them. 4. Great location: A 10-minute walk to Shantou Food Street, within 15 minutes to the Mural Village, and 9 minutes to 888 Hokkien Mee and DUAN—both are delicious. Areas for improvement: 1. Breakfast options are quite limited. If they improve this, it would be no different from a five-star hotel. For instance, they could add hot milk, oatmeal, and hot vegetables. 2. On the first day of check-in, I noticed the body lotion bottle was empty and the pump wouldn't work. I didn't bother them and used my own. By the second night, my own ran out, so I unscrewed their bottle lid, figuring they would replace it on the third day. However, when we came back on the third day, they had simply taken the bottle away without replacing it with a new one. I called down in the evening, and a guy came up with some body lotion saying he would refill it for me. After I spent a long time explaining that I didn't have a bottle either, he looked confused before leaving to get a new bottle. Another housekeeping issue is that used cups aren't replaced; even if there is still water or tea left inside, they aren't cleared away and are left untouched in their original spots. 3. It would be perfect if the bathroom had an exhaust fan; it gets quite stuffy when you need to use the toilet.

The stay was overall great, though you'll need a bit of patience with the lifts during peak times, as there are 4 shared elevators for the 36 floors. The rooftop infinity pool was a wonderful highlight, offering breathtaking views that were equally magical by day and stunning at night.
