Very Good
GGuest UserLittle bit out of the main city centre - quite a steep walk back up from the centre but OK. Receptionist says she always gets a taxi up but we did it Ok. Bit of a maze inside - trying to remember where your room is but on the whole lovely building - good facilities and nice room with large bathroom. Some rooms have great views of the Menai Straight and Anglesey.
GGuest UserWe were very disappointed with our stay because of the strong smell in both the bedroom and the bathroom. The unpleasant odour was noticeable as soon as we opened the room door on arrival. It was so bad that even the staff member who showed us the room covered his nose with his finger, so it was clearly noticeable.
We hoped the smell would improve by opening the windows, but unfortunately it remained throughout our entire 2 night stay. We even had to use our own room freshener, but the odour was still too strong to mask.
This made our stay very uncomfortable and significantly affected our overall experience. We hope this issue is investigated and resolved so future guests do not have the same experience.
GGuest UserIt was a shame I arrived very late for check in despite their info stating last checkin time as 10:00 pm ( got there around 12:30 am)
The lady who greeted was understandably not happy as it did seem like BnB/ resident for owners.
I did explain my circumstances and later on we buried the hatchet.
I did feel bad cause the room was cozy and they have put so much of complimentary stuffs cookies/ chocolate shake etc along with basics.
Even in the morning, the breakfast experience was very nice. You can clearly see the effort the host put in and it clearly shows they care about what they do.
Would recommend and will be happy to visit again, if I am allowed 🤣
RReediFriendly family run hotel a short walk from the village of Beddgelert. Continental Breakfast is included with excellent range of cooked options at a reasonable price and gluten free toast too. No dinner available but there are plenty of places to eat in the village and a short drive away. This is an ideal spot if you’re here for the hill walking. There are walks galore in every directly right on your doorstep. I only wish we had stayed an extra night.
