The owner smoked, but he upgraded my room. **Amenities**: Most essential amenities are available. However, I really don't understand the curtain design – it's right above the head of the bed, and even when closed, the morning sun shines directly into your eyes through the creases. **Cleanliness**: It was quite clean, but the bathroom smelled awful; there was a persistent odor.

Honestly, during the off-season, for a room type like this at just over 150 (CNY), staying on the 60th floor is incredibly good value for money. The room itself is quite spacious. I actually booked this place after reading a review, and honestly, I think it's perfectly fine. I dislike situations where customers are clearly in the wrong or leave bad reviews unfairly, and then the boss blames and scolds the staff. I don't like that. So, sometimes when guests are being unreasonable or trying to take advantage, whether it's a staff member or the owner responding, I think it's perfectly acceptable. A spade is a spade.

We had a lovely stay, the room’s view was great, bed very comfortable, nice cotton good quality lienen, flexible room service time, water/towels etc always topped up/ refilled. Free luggage storage possible. All really smooth and pleasant. Keep in mind that if you choose smart room- need to say the commands to open the curtains in Chinese. I speak some Chinese and it made the check-in and stay easier, however the person who showed us the room wasn’t very friendly.

The room was exceptionally good, spacious, and bright. The staff were friendly, and the overall environment was elegant and grand. The room was clean with no strange odors, and both the lighting and ventilation were excellent. The service was attentive and detailed, making for a warm and comfortable stay. This is a must-have hotel for any trip. The location is superb, making travel very convenient, with a subway station not far away. The lady at the front desk even thoughtfully asked if I needed earplugs and an eye mask. Service: 100 points!

The location is good, quite close to the subway station. There are also many good eateries on Jinbang Road and Wenzao. I ate near Xiahe Road every night, and there are a few bakeries there too – happy me! The auntie cleans every day, so you don't need to specifically tell the front desk staff. The only thing that depends on luck is if the guests in the next room are noisy, that can be a real pain... On the first night, the room next door didn't quiet down until 00:40... And then, is the shop next door renovating? They started hammering walls and things around 8 AM every morning. But it also motivates me to get up and go out to explore, so it's a blessing in disguise, I guess. Lol. Finally, the price is really great, so it's very good value for money and definitely recommended!

Here, all the bath towels, regular towels, toothbrushes, and slippers are disposable, and the amenities are very comprehensive. The room has an Xiao Ai smart assistant, which you can use to control the lights and other things. Downstairs is the ancient city with plenty of food and entertainment. You'll find everything from tofu pudding, vermicelli, oyster omelets, satay noodles, and 'sea worm' jelly to triangle-shaped rice cakes.

I rarely say this on my reviews, but I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this Minsu. When I come back to Quanzhou for another family holiday, I will book this place again. Firstly, the location: It is unbeatable. It is near enough to be in the midst of the action in Quanzhou (near the walking street, eateries, restaurants, shopping etc etc), yet very quiet for us to enjoy a good night’s rest, or a good conversation at night over tea. Second, the nice balance between an authentic cultural home and modernism. We had the entire Minsu to ourselves, 6 rooms in total. Renovated about 3-4 years ago, the Minsu gave us the experience of living in an authentic Chinese inn, yet the amenities were modern….comfortable beds, modern toilets, refrigerators available etc….The courtyards were also beautiful. The entire Minsu was tastefully done…..plus it was spotlessly clean. Thirdly, the owners. They were so friendly and helpful. They met us at the drop off point, and brought us to the Minsu when we checked in, helping to move some of our luggages (and they did the same thing when we checked out). They went out of their way to help purchase traditional puppet show (木偶) tickets (at a small discount somemore). After we checked out, my son left his hoodie in the room. The owners assisted to courier the jacket to the next city we were heading to (we were already in the train at that time). And lastly, every morning and every night, either Mr Du, his son or his daughter in law would invite us to join them for tea. They would then proceed to serve tea the traditional way, while having a conversation with us. They also taught us certain traditions, protocols and rules when serving tea. They have a cat called TangYuan (汤圆), in which the kids in the family enjoyed playing with. The only thing to note is that public transport (via taxis and buses) only can drop you off at a spot about 5min walk away. Also, they provide disposable towels, not the regular towels given at hotels. If it is an issue, just bring your own towels. Otherwise, this place deserves 5 out of 5 stars.

This hotel exceeded expectations and the environment was quiet and not noisy. The sanitation is very good, and the corners are clean. The staff is friendly and the service is meticulous and intimate. The room has good lighting, spacious space and good infrastructure. The price is close to the people, and the comprehensive experience is full, which is a good choice for travel and accommodation.

This was my first time transiting through Fuzhou Changle Airport, and after comparing several hotels nearby, I decided on this Super 8 Select. After my stay, I can confidently say I made the right choice! The room's cleanliness was impeccable. There was no musty smell upon entering, and the floors, TV cabinet, and mirror were all sparkling clean. The bedding was clearly changed promptly and felt fresh and comfortable. The bathroom was spotless, with no odors from the drain, and the disposable toiletries were fully stocked. You can tell from these small details that the hotel has high standards for cleanliness, even for germaphobes like me. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Check-in was quick and easy, and any questions I had for the front desk were answered patiently and kindly. The most practical feature was the complimentary airport shuttle service – this genuinely boosted my travel experience. No need to book a car in advance or worry about finding a taxi late at night. The driver was waiting for me, drove smoothly, and the short journey to and from the airport made it incredibly convenient for early morning flights or late-night arrivals, saving a significant amount on taxi fares. The hotel itself was quiet and peaceful, allowing me to get good rest after a long journey. The air conditioning, hot water, and Wi-Fi all worked perfectly; all the basic amenities were well-provided. Its location is very close to the airport, making travel easy, and the price was very reasonable. The overall value for money far surpasses other hotels in the same price range. I highly recommend this place to frequent flyers. It's clean, thoughtful, and includes a shuttle service, making it perfect for both short layovers and business trips. I will definitely prioritize staying here again the next time I'm traveling to or from Changle Airport!
