5-Star Hotels in Sicily, Italy

This is really a 5 star experience! They have many on-site dining options - all with a lovely view of the Concordia temple. All food was fabulous and featured local, seasonal ingredients. The resort also has a private entrance to the Valle dei Templi park which allows guests to beat the crowds and enjoy a peaceful walk through pristine nature to reach the temples. I hope to return in the future!

The room is spacious enough. The room was cleaned very well. The breakfast was good. The following are the shortcomings: First, the curtains cannot be drawn at all. Every time, the technician has to move a large ladder to manually close the curtains. Second, the shower head on the top of the bathroom has too little water and the temperature is too low. I dare not wash my hair for fear of catching a cold. Third, and the most important one! Don't stay in room 106! Less than one meter outside the window is the eaves on one side, blocking half of the view, and the eaves are wrapped in iron sheets. When it rains, the raindrops make a huge sound and it is impossible to fall asleep! I stayed for three nights and it rained for three nights... So when you come to Palermo during the rainy season at the end of the year and the beginning of the year, don't stay in room 106. When we placed the order, we asked for a high floor and a quiet room in advance, but the front desk guy gave us this room when we checked in. As a front desk, the professional requirement should be to know all kinds of rooms well; if we are allowed to stay in this room under the condition of understanding and the occupancy rate is not high, the motive can't help but make people suspicious.

We start with cleaning the rooms and the rooms, I have rarely found such a high level, all ”clean and fragrant”. The hotel is very well located, is in the centre of Siracusa and within 10 minutes' walk from the beautiful Ortigia. Highly professional staff, very available and kind. Breakfast is particularly varied and quality. The building is a perfectly renovated and refurbished building for the hotel, with few rooms (I think about 15) and common space with the right colors and the right lighting. We will return and next time we will also dine at the restaurant, which reserves, among other things, 10% discount for hotel customers.

Located in the tourist center and close to the airport bus stop. Welcome drinks include freshly squeezed blood, orange juice, and spumante. I am grateful to my friend who dropped me off at the hotel and provided me with a drink service. The room was clean, and the toilet, sink, and shower room were new and well-maintained. Amenities are also provided to the bare minimum. Equipped with hair dryer, safe, minibar, and refrigerator. The temperature of the air conditioner could not be adjusted in the room, so it was hot and humid even though it was winter. The ingredients at the restaurant are fresh and delicious, but for Japanese people, the portions are large, so it might be better for two people to eat one serving.

When checking in, the front desk staff was very enthusiastic. They introduced us to the hotel's predecessor as a post office. They offered welcome drinks. When the ticket machine in the parking lot at the door was broken, they assisted us to complete the parking payment on the mobile app and entered our license plate into the system. So the car can enter the ZTL zone. But forgot to write down her name, is a long-haired young girl with glasses. Anna and Concetta at the front desk also helped us a lot when checking out and gave Noto a trip advice worth visiting, thank you very much :) The hotel room is spacious and the sanitary conditions are good. Picture 3 is the view from the first floor of the room. The bathroom on the first floor has a bathroom, toilet, and sink; the bathroom on the second floor has a toilet and sink. The entrance of the hotel is a very large parking lot, please remember to pay in time to avoid being fined by the police. The hotel is in front of the right side of the hotel. The restaurant is the first Chinese restaurant in Syracuse. The taste of the restaurant depends on personal preferences, but the location of the hotel is very convenient for people who need to eat Chinese food. Siracusa is small, the hotel location is good, by walking to all nearby attractions, I will choose this hotel next time :)

Old money style, convenient location, very close to the main shopping street, many restaurants around, you can walk to the main attractions, there are also grocery stores around, it is also convenient to buy small items. The room is not small, the extra bed is also quite comfortable, larger than the average European hotel room. The European breakfast is so-so, there is nothing wrong with it, the breakfast room on the top floor is not small, the service is friendly.

In total, it was a good stay. The price 1150€ for 2 nights is insane though. I like that the pool is open 24/7 and there is a beautiful restaurant with a view. The property also offered an upgrade, which was nice. The rooms are white and cold, though. Also the rooms should be cleaned while the guests are having the breakfast, so they need to use the updated system for tracking that.
