The hotel's location is excellent, right next to UpperHills and Bijia Mountain Park. The room size is decent, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offer great views. Breakfast variety is acceptable, with most essentials covered. Overall, the hotel service is quite good, but the breakfast restaurant service is very average. The biggest rip-off, though, is the hotel's spa. It's overpriced and the massage technique is terrible. I'd say it's the worst spa experience I've had at a five-star hotel! I felt like I was completely ripped off! A total waste of time, I hope everyone avoids it.

Guest UserI chose this five-star hotel for a short getaway in Shenzhen, and it did not disappoint! The lobby is elegantly luxurious, check-in was very efficient, and the concierge service was proactive and attentive.
The room was spacious with a fantastic city view. At night, overlooking the Futian skyline was truly atmospheric. The bedding features Marriott's signature 'cloud-like' comfort, so even a light sleeper like me had a peaceful night's rest. The outdoor pool had clean water, and the gym was well-equipped, perfect for some leisure and relaxation.
The breakfast buffet offered a mix of Chinese and Western dishes. The freshly-made rice noodle rolls and omelets tasted authentic, showing consistent quality in their food offerings. The staff were friendly and professional, handling any small issues efficiently. The location is excellent, making it convenient for exploring and dining. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Shenzhen!

Guest UserMy stay at the Guangzhou Estanton Hotel was absolutely perfect, a definite five-star experience! The front desk staff were attentive and polite, and my room was clean and spacious. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom even had a large bathtub. The soundproofing was excellent. The hotel has its own swimming pool and gym, and the breakfast spread was diverse and plentiful, with everything from Cantonese dim sum to Western-style light meals. The location is convenient, not far from the subway, making travel easy. The public areas are well-maintained, with an elegant and quiet atmosphere. It’s suitable for both business trips and leisure stays, offering fantastic value for money. I’ll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Guangzhou. Highly recommended to everyone!

Guest UserAlthough there were a few minor hitches during my stay, the hotel staff handled everything efficiently and responsively, and the issues were resolved quickly and properly. I'd especially like to thank Jennifer for her patient assistance throughout, her gentle and considerate demeanor, and for proactively helping me coordinate various matters – she's very responsible. Overall, the positive aspects far outweighed any negatives; the hotel's emergency service and staff professionalism are commendable. I would choose this hotel again for my next trip, highly recommended!

Posted on Jul 26, 2026|Deluxe Sea-view Double Room
Anonymous UserThis is an older hotel located in a bustling area. The sea-view rooms offer a distant glimpse of the 'Fisher Girl' statue, though it's more of a 'glimpse' than a full 'view.' It's a shame that for such a well-known, established brand, the facilities are quite disappointing. It's also not very friendly for those driving. On a weekend affected by Typhoon Nangka along the coast, hotel parking became a real headache. Most of the B1 parking is outdoors, so you're bound to get wet in a downpour. B2 is an underground garage, but it's really only convenient for check-in. Once you're checked in and want to leave, it's a hassle. You check in at the front desk on the first floor. Out of 5 elevators, one is permanently stuck on the third floor. Of the remaining 4, only 2 go down to B2. To exit with your car after checking in, you first have to go to the first-floor front desk to scan a code. After scanning, if you get an elevator that only goes to B1, you either have to transfer to an elevator on the other side of B1, or hope you get lucky and catch an elevator that goes straight to B2. Because when you press the button on the first floor, the B1 elevator arrives first, and the B2 elevator will show it's going up. Unless there are other guests in the elevator also going to the garage, but you still need to scan on the first floor to leave, so the chance of getting a direct elevator to B2 is practically zero. The rooms are a bit larger, but the amenities are inferior to newer hotels. Tissues are only available at the sink; there are no tissues on the desk or nightstands in the room. The bathroom also lacks disposable toilet seat covers, which was quite disappointing.

Hengqin Bay Hotel is definitely one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in, offering a comprehensive and detail-oriented experience. From arrival to check-in, I truly felt like a 'guest at home.' The hotel lobby is incredibly grand, with a tasteful interplay of light and shadow. Stepping in immediately melts away the fatigue of a long journey. Check-in was not only swift, but the staff also leaned in to listen to my needs, showing great respect for guests.
The room design is elegant and luxurious, with every material meticulously chosen. The mattress provided the perfect contouring comfort, and there were both firm and soft pillows to choose from – I slept like a baby! The night view was absolutely stunning, with the floor-to-ceiling windows offering a panoramic vista of the sparkling city lights and the hotel's interior.
Beyond these, the hotel's recreational facilities are top-notch. The gym boasts new and comprehensive equipment, and there's even a dedicated kids' club. On the dining front, I must particularly commend the seafood buffet dinner. Oysters, salmon, shrimp, and more were all-you-can-eat, and the waitstaff frequently changed plates, ensuring exceptional service quality. Hygiene was impeccable; the bathroom mirror was spotless, and the floors gleamed.
What's more, the hotel features free-roaming dolphins and flamingos, an exclusive ecological landscape that is undoubtedly a major draw of Hengqin Bay. Getting around is extremely convenient, with internal shuttle buses departing on time, making travel to and from various Chimelong attractions a breeze. Whether for business travel or high-end leisure, this hotel truly offers an ultimate indulgence!

Guest UserThis was my first stay at a Banyan Tree property, and I was impressed with both the soft and hard services. The ocean view room allowed me to sit on the balcony and watch the sunset. The room was grand and tidy, with many thoughtful details. It was very quiet at night. Both the buffet dinner and breakfast were extensive, and the seafood was very fresh. Even with good occupancy, the overall service at the hotel was excellent. The hotel has two beaches, east and west. The east beach is quieter and perfect for just relaxing. This hotel is ideal for a vacation.

They offer a dedicated shuttle service, breakfast, and a swimming pool. For this price, it's definitely the best value for money. They even stored our luggage until our evening flight. I haven't left the hotel yet, but I feel I can already leave a review for the service.

Guest UserThe hotel's location is very central and convenient, just a 3-5 minute walk directly to Futian High-Speed Rail Station, Coco Park shopping mall, and the 116F observation deck of Ping An Financial Center. This time, I took the high-speed train from Futian Station to Hong Kong West Kowloon Station, which only took 14 minutes, making it incredibly quick and easy to get to Harbour City. The hotel environment is comfortable; the lobby and public areas are beautiful, and the room was clean and tidy, making for a very relaxing stay. I especially loved the fitness center and pool; the facilities are comprehensive and excellent. The front desk service was very warm and welcoming. They enthusiastically introduced the hotel and the surrounding area during check-in. The breakfast selection was also rich, with both Chinese and Western options, and the taste was great. The restaurant environment was also very comfortable. Overall, I was very satisfied with this stay, and I will definitely choose Crowne Plaza Shenzhen Futian again on my next visit to Shenzhen.

GzfanfanThis is a classic hotel in the heart of Guangzhou, and its location is really good. The exterior also looks quite grand. The rooms are spacious, and the views from them are very nice. You can also go up to the 63rd floor for an even better view. Breakfast was decent, but it was a shame that during my three-day stay, the noodle station only had a chef on the last morning. I found the front desk service quite subpar. I waited in line for ages, and several male receptionists kept ignoring me or shunting me to a different queue. They were busy chatting casually with the guests in front of them and didn't bother calling the next person. They spent half an hour on pointless conversation, and it felt like it would never end. I was so annoyed waiting that they finally called out a female receptionist from the back to help me with my room card. Also, in the lobby, we were dragging our luggage around, and no staff member came over to offer assistance. Overall, I felt there was hardly any service.
There's no self-service laundry room, which I think is a significant drawback. Since there are no room service robots, I had to go up and down to collect my food orders every time, which was a real hassle.
The room hygiene was good, but I find it incredibly stingy for a five-star hotel to charge for a tiny bit of coke and other items in the minibar. Many hotels now offer complimentary minibars.
To sum it up: excellent location, outdated facilities, and a poor service experience.
