Excellent and affordable hotel to stay after cycling from Onomichi to Imabari. There is an onsen, breakfast included, massage chair for free and drinks from 15:00 to 21:00 . Highly recommend although the room are simple . Location is excellent, just across from the Imabari train station.
It is my second time there .
The nearby hotels were set at three times the usual rate during Golden Week, but this was a normal rate even during busy seasons. There was also a large communal bath and a sauna so I could relax. After the bath, there was a free service of drinks, sweets and ice cream on the 1 floor. Next to the counter was a service of citrus fruits such as decopon and water PET bottles. It is a hotel that I want to stay next time.
There was also an all-you-can-drink service of local sake 4 〜 5 types on the 1st floor for 2 hours at 19:00 〜 21:00. For those who can't drink alcohol, there was also a free coffee and tea service.
We really enjoyed the full Japanese Inn experience at Ebisuya Ryokan. This means you have a private room for sleeping but shared facilities for toilet and bathing. There are also very comfortable, relaxed shared lounge and reading areas. The whole Ryokan was beautifully appointed with traditional Japanese furniture. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, and despite our limited Japanese we managed to communicate effectively. The room was large and beautifully appointed. The traditional bedding was laid out for us during dinner, which was served downstairs in the restaurant/dining area. The dinner was filling and delicious with an emphasis on seafood. The onsite onsens were glorious after a day travelling and they are not segregated by sex and can be locked so you can have a private onsen with your partner or family. Breakfast was also sumptuous and very traditional Japanese. If you would like to visit a less travelled part of Japan I would recommend this ryokan. Great access to the beautiful Sadamisaki Peninsula. The local town also has some great cafes!
The place is really accessible to Dogo Onsen. It is clean & the front desk staff is kind & welcoming. She also tried her best to talk to me in English. My only problem is that since the divider is so thin that I could hear the loud snore of the person in the room & the sounds in the next room. Hoping they would provide earbuds to their guests or bring your own.
Toilets are only two on the 2nd floor, one of them is for both gender which will be troublesome if everyone leaves at the same time.
But generally it is a good place to stay.
Use when traveling on the shimamami Kaido road.
The parking lot is free and large, so it's okay to be late 🅿️ There is Yoshinoya next door, and there is Kura sushi opposite, so it doesn't seem to be troublesome for food! If you drive a little, there are supermarkets and convenience stores 🏪
The room is spacious and comfortable 々. The large communal bath was very large and beautiful, probably because it was renewed. There were no amenities, so bring lotion, emulsion, and toothbrush.
The lounge offers alcohol and snacks at night and breakfast in the morning.
Breakfast is also very delicious and satisfying.
It is located in the area ahead of the track of Dogo Onsen Station.
I don't recommend it very much because the road is narrow in the residential area to go by car.
Overall, the lighting is dim, but the price is reasonable, so there may be no way around.
I thought there was a plan to rent a bed in the room at the time of booking and stay.
There was no inconvenience near the station, the room was clean and it was a very good place among the big hotels 😊
The receptionist was also polite and kind.
Also, if you have the opportunity, it's a repeat!
The view of the Kuroshima Kaikyo Bridge is good
Please ask for a view of the bridge.
Breakfast is not overdone and small but clean.

정정종민This is a hostel that I stayed for a day for my visit to Aoshima.
The hostel was very tidy, and it was so good to stay short.
I was very impressed by the kindness and affection of the owner's grandmother and grandfather.
I arrived at Nagahama Station late, but my grandfather and grandmother met me and guided me to the hostel by car.
He called me to find a nearby dinner.
In the morning, we even offered a meal at a low price of 550 yen.
He brought my luggage to the station on time for the train back to Matsuyama.
And I got a lot of power from the two of you, and I went back.
”I hope you're always healthy. Thank you!”

GGuest UserThis graceful ryokan has been running a business for 150 years located in a sedated little town. Maybe it’s off season. I felt I was in the middle of nowhere worrying what to do with my time there. However Izumi San the host has been helping me above and beyond trying to make me feel welcome. She escorted me to and from the onsen each night punctually. She got all the information for me to rent a bicycle and get me the bus time table ready for me to travel to Hiroshima. Btw the bike ride was amazing and is a must do for islands hopping. Although we communicated mostly through Google translate and some of my broken Japanese. We have had some good laugh. Chaume did offer me couple of restful nights. To Izumi San, arigato gozaimasu. 💝
TTRIP.SOLOI visited this capsule hotel on a solo trip and it's close to the station and has a hot spring!
Even though it was reasonably priced, there were multiple types of hot springs and saunas, so it was great to be able to soothe the fatigue of my travels!
After the hot spring, I relaxed in the open space and read my favorite manga, or had a massage in a massage chair. It was a very fulfilling experience and I would like to stay here again when I visit Imabari again!
GGuest UserThe ryokan is located very near the Vine bridge but is quite old looking.
The dinner and breakfast are super delicious and is the Japanese style with many small dishes.
It was the accommodation with the best dining options throughout my 19 days travel in japan.
There is a bathhouse in the ryokan which guests can use.
The rooms are all located on the 2nd or 3rd floor, together with the toilet and shower.
Room was huge with tatami and can fit in at least 4 person.
We were allowed to bring our bikes into the room but we laid them on some cloth to prevent the dirtying of the flooring.
Good value for money

GGuest UserThe most affordable hotel through out my trip! It was extremely affordable, despite its great location, situated close to both the bus and train station (making it a perfect location after a long journey).
The staff is polite, the room is spacious enough and it offer all the amenities of more expensive hotel (like a public onsen and personal hygiene products).
Despite a limited variety of options of the breakfast buffet, the quality of the ingreadient and what was offered was excelent.
Well worth the price.
