This hotel is right in the city center of Samarkand. The service is truly excellent. Both gentlemen at the front desk were wonderful, especially Diyar. He was incredibly kind, even accompanying me to a nearby Plov restaurant to pick up my food and then helping me carry it back to the hotel. Although his English wasn't perfect, he was genuinely a very good person. The other gentleman at the front desk was also great. On my first day, they even brought us snacks for lunch, which were delicious! When I left, I gave them my business card and invited them to contact me if they ever come to Guangzhou, China. I hope to visit Samarkand again someday and stay there, and maybe even see them!
Good hotel. It's located just across the road from one of the main attractions, Shah-i-Zinda. Most of the main sights are about a 10-minute walk away. The hotel has everything you need, or you can request it. The rooms are good and clean. Breakfasts are good. For me, the only problem, as in all of Samarkand really, was the poor coffee.
The hotel's main highlight is its swimming pool with sun loungers and a cozy courtyard. Although I didn't get to swim, we did sunbathe a bit. There's also a sauna, which we enjoyed. The only downside was that the steam in the hammam was very strong, and the seats weren't heated.
The staff were responsive. Overall, we liked everything.
A small hotel with a traditional design. The staff were attentive and responsive. Breakfasts were modest but quite good. Despite the hotel's location by the road, there was no street noise audible in the room. It's less than 3 km to the main attractions. We walked everywhere, exploring the city along the way. I recommend it for your stay.
A beautiful hotel, downstairs of the wine cellar, is next to the waiting station, walking 12 minutes - it is convenient! To the city center you need to drive 20 minutes by taxi.
Of the downsides: it was cold, there was no heating in the room, at night frozen ! ! ! (on the street was 10, respectively in the room too cold), windows on the road, hearing is terrible! Hear everything on the street and in the corridor!
The smell of cigarettes in the room! It seems that the room was smoking, we were ventilating, but it didn't ventilate! We asked to change the room, but we refused, said that there were no free rooms! It was unpleasant!
Extended the room for 6 hours for half the cost!
Plus: The room has everything that is declared and the dress is, for some reason, one, though two were booked. The showers were broken, both souls (up rain too) apparently stuck holes, and the water went sideways, and so on both souls, it is very uncomfortable to wash.
Just two pillows, I would like 4.
Plus: Normal breakfast, coffee from the coffee machine. Beautiful, rooms clean and comfortable.
There is a smooth board with a twig in the corridor.
Comfortable beds.
The room corresponds to the photo, clean and new. I didn't like the breakfast, I would reconsider the concept and offer breakfast from the menu, it would be much more attractive than the meager buffet. In the morning it was impossible to sleep, for some reason everyone was furiously slamming doors on the floor, although the door closes easily. Shower gel and shampoo and hand soap - all three products were the same, there were no other sets in the bathroom.
This hotel is absolutely stunning and full of character. The painted walls, intricate golden doors, and regal design create an atmosphere of royal luxury from the moment you step inside. The staff are welcoming and friendly. Our room was decorated in a local, oriental style, with many interesting artistic touches and local vases throughout, both in the room and around the hotel. The only downside is that the hotel is tucked away amidst other buildings with no view. Our room was small, and the windows faced an enclosed inner courtyard where a door constantly slammed shut as it was a thoroughfare to all floors. Consequently, there was no view at all. You could easily sleep all day and night in a room like that with the curtains drawn! 😀 However, we did enjoy the atmospheric surroundings. The room had all the necessary toiletries, was cleaned daily, and fresh water and tea were replenished daily. The location is convenient, just 10 minutes from the train station and airport, and within walking distance of major attractions, monuments, mosques, and mausoleums. Registan Square is a 15-minute walk away. Breakfasts were delicious and varied, served on a panoramic terrace on the top floor. We'd like to thank the hotel staff for allowing us to check in early and for their excellent service overall 🙏 Thank you for the warm welcome.
The location is almost too convenient; it's just a five-minute walk from the train station. All the attractions in Samarkand are on a straight line, and it takes about twenty minutes by taxi from the hotel to either end of that line. So you can stay overnight, visit all the attractions the next day, then take a taxi back to collect your luggage and head back to Tashkent or Bukhara in the evening. The restaurant and courtyard are particularly beautiful.

I had a pleasant stay at Meridian Plaza Hotel. The location, facilities, and overall amenities were excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
However, there were a few housekeeping issues that could be improved. On one occasion, the trash in the bathroom was not emptied during room cleaning, and a cleaning cloth was accidentally left hanging on the door handle after housekeeping service.
While these were minor issues, paying closer attention to housekeeping details would make the guest experience even better. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would consider staying here again.

GGuest UserVery satisfied, the service was very attentive. The location is within walking distance of the square, about 1.6 kilometers. There's a very good barbecue restaurant nearby. The staff speaks English, and the prices are very reasonable. The hotel entrance is very small, and I circled the building using the navigation system but couldn't find the entrance. Hahahaha, actually, the entrance is right on the road.
GGuest UserThe location is convenient for transportation. Taxi drops you off at the entrance to a fast food cafe, which is also the guesthouse entrance. The downside is street noise: with the windows open, it's loud during the day, but even at night, the sound of passing cars can disrupt your sleep. The sights are within walking distance. There are plenty of local food options nearby, but there are no European-style cafes, restaurants, or grocery stores. The rooms vary in state of repair. I stayed on the second floor in a decent double room. The third floor has a window facing the opposite side, toward the construction site. It should be quieter there. I didn't turn on the air conditioning. I only use it if the interior is spotlessly clean. There's a laundry room and a shared refrigerator. Breakfast is nominal. The owner is accommodating.
GGolandI want to express my gratitude to the staff for their wonderful service and accommodations🇺🇿🫶
We checked into our room early without any problems, as the train arrived early in the morning. The rooms are new, the bed is huge and very comfortable, and the internet is fast and stable.
Breakfast is prepared at a specific time, based on the guest's preferences, and menu preferences are clarified. The breakfasts are so generous that it's difficult for one person to finish them.
I wish your business prosperity and recommend this accommodation to all travelers.
GGourav BoraWe had a great experience. Host is very friendly and considerate. The host went out of the way to arrange vegetarian food for us. Its a little away from centre but easily accessible via taxis which is very cheap. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, there is a big courtyard with trees. We stayed for three nights and enjoyed a lot. No complaints. Their home made jam is just awesome.
TTina333333Very close to the attraction, walk for about 10 minutes.
The store's service attitude is very good and the check-in is very fast.
Cleaning every day, great place, recommended accommodation.
The price is the most appropriate.
Air conditioning but the temperature was right at the time, we didn't use it.
GGuest UserThis hotel is a 5-minute walk from Siyob Bazaar. It's a pleasant, small hotel with a cozy, clean room, and all the necessary amenities are provided, although there wasn't a fridge (I know some people find this important). The breakfasts are good, with everything you need. As for minor points, I noticed some street noise, which can be quite disruptive at times. The staff is incredibly attentive and responsive – that's a huge plus for this hotel. Despite these minor issues, overall, we were very satisfied!

SSylvia TeohI didn't take pic of the room as it is basic but spacious enough. The hotel is strategically located in between various sightseeing sites. For travellers who opt for tram and bus, you choose the right location because opposite the hotel just accross the road, there is a tramvay stop and bus stop. Tramvay goes to and for the main train station if you are departing for Tashkent or Bukhara. While bus goes around the city. Take bus 22 to go around the city area such as Registan centre. Take bus 31 to and for airport. Really convenient, affordable, and I highly recommend it.
DDoc BokThis is a really great place to stay in Samarkand. Huge beds and huge rooms. The rooms have huge wardrobes, a fridge, kettle, safe, and a coffee maker. The bed is the biggest I've seen, but it's a little hard. It's close to Registan Square and a huge number of nice restaurants, even has its own restaurant attached that serves some great steak. The breakfast is really nice - you'll have a personal table with samsa and lots of snacks, and be able to order a specific breakfast on top.
