3-Star Hotels in Samarkand Region, Uzbekistan

The hosts and front desk staff were incredibly welcoming; they even offered me breakfast and coffee upon arrival, even though I hadn't checked in yet. The breakfasts, by the way, are substantial, and the coffee and tea are delicious. The room is large, overlooking an inner courtyard, so street noise isn't an issue, though you can hear the neighbors quite well. The air conditioning works perfectly. The hotel is very conveniently located for sightseeing, with grocery and clothing markets nearby, as well as a tram stop for the train station and a bus stop for the airport.

The hotel's location is excellent, right opposite the famous Shah-i-Zinda necropolis, which is very convenient for visitors planning to explore the tombs. It's about a 15-minute walk to the Bibi-Khanym Mosque, and along the way, you can experience the local street scene. Overall, the attractions are concentrated, making it ideal for travelers who enjoy exploring on foot. The check-in experience was good. The room was clean, bright, and spacious. The bed was soft and comfortable, providing good relief from travel fatigue and ensuring a decent quality of rest. The only minor drawback is the limited dining options near the hotel. For dinner or to find a variety of local cuisine, you might need to walk a bit further, or consider planning your meals in advance while exploring during the day. Overall, it's a clean, comfortable, and well-located accommodation, especially suitable for travelers whose main purpose is to visit the necropolis and surrounding historical sites. If convenience for dining isn't a high priority, it's an excellent place to stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The location is excellent, with a bank, shops, supermarket, and cafes nearby, as well as a public transport stop. The rooms were clean and beautiful. Housekeeping cleaned daily, changed towels, and replenished toiletries. Two bottles of water were provided in our room every day. We booked with breakfast, and it was all delicious. When we checked out early, they even gave us a very generous lunch box, which we ate on the train, complete with cutlery and napkins. We stayed in room 203 on the second floor, and I was pleased that the air conditioner wasn't directly above the bed but in the hallway, so it didn't blow on us and was practically silent. The staff are very polite and speak Russian; they're always ready to explain and assist with anything you need. I was also happy that there was no outside street noise or sounds from neighbors in the room.

A beautiful hotel, downstairs of the wine cellar, is next to the waiting station, walking 12 minutes - it is convenient! To the city center you need to drive 20 minutes by taxi. Of the downsides: it was cold, there was no heating in the room, at night frozen ! ! ! (on the street was 10, respectively in the room too cold), windows on the road, hearing is terrible! Hear everything on the street and in the corridor! The smell of cigarettes in the room! It seems that the room was smoking, we were ventilating, but it didn't ventilate! We asked to change the room, but we refused, said that there were no free rooms! It was unpleasant! Extended the room for 6 hours for half the cost! Plus: The room has everything that is declared and the dress is, for some reason, one, though two were booked. The showers were broken, both souls (up rain too) apparently stuck holes, and the water went sideways, and so on both souls, it is very uncomfortable to wash. Just two pillows, I would like 4. Plus: Normal breakfast, coffee from the coffee machine. Beautiful, rooms clean and comfortable. There is a smooth board with a twig in the corridor. Comfortable beds.

The room corresponds to the photo, clean and new. I didn't like the breakfast, I would reconsider the concept and offer breakfast from the menu, it would be much more attractive than the meager buffet. In the morning it was impossible to sleep, for some reason everyone was furiously slamming doors on the floor, although the door closes easily. Shower gel and shampoo and hand soap - all three products were the same, there were no other sets in the bathroom.

This hotel is absolutely stunning and full of character. The painted walls, intricate golden doors, and regal design create an atmosphere of royal luxury from the moment you step inside. The staff are welcoming and friendly. Our room was decorated in a local, oriental style, with many interesting artistic touches and local vases throughout, both in the room and around the hotel. The only downside is that the hotel is tucked away amidst other buildings with no view. Our room was small, and the windows faced an enclosed inner courtyard where a door constantly slammed shut as it was a thoroughfare to all floors. Consequently, there was no view at all. You could easily sleep all day and night in a room like that with the curtains drawn! 😀 However, we did enjoy the atmospheric surroundings. The room had all the necessary toiletries, was cleaned daily, and fresh water and tea were replenished daily. The location is convenient, just 10 minutes from the train station and airport, and within walking distance of major attractions, monuments, mosques, and mausoleums. Registan Square is a 15-minute walk away. Breakfasts were delicious and varied, served on a panoramic terrace on the top floor. We'd like to thank the hotel staff for allowing us to check in early and for their excellent service overall 🙏 Thank you for the warm welcome.

The location is almost too convenient; it's just a five-minute walk from the train station. All the attractions in Samarkand are on a straight line, and it takes about twenty minutes by taxi from the hotel to either end of that line. So you can stay overnight, visit all the attractions the next day, then take a taxi back to collect your luggage and head back to Tashkent or Bukhara in the evening. The restaurant and courtyard are particularly beautiful.

I had a pleasant stay at Meridian Plaza Hotel. The location, facilities, and overall amenities were excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful. However, there were a few housekeeping issues that could be improved. On one occasion, the trash in the bathroom was not emptied during room cleaning, and a cleaning cloth was accidentally left hanging on the door handle after housekeeping service. While these were minor issues, paying closer attention to housekeeping details would make the guest experience even better. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would consider staying here again.

Beautiful and perfect for a city trip. The hotel is conveniently located just 1km from the scenic area. I was very satisfied with my stay! The environment is elegant, the service is attentive, and the facilities are new and complete. Transportation is convenient, and there are many dining options nearby. Five-star rating, definitely worth coming back!
