The sound insulation of the room is very poor, and the surrounding facilities are very missing.
Very contradictory complex, very quiet outside, but the hotel is very noisy
The only good thing is the glass for breakfast, quiet in the corner to enjoy breakfast, you can see squirrels and birds
His pool is good and you can see the outside too.
We came to Cleveland by train. Arrival time is early. I wanted to say temporarily store my luggage. Check in again in the afternoon. As a result, the counter directly checked us in and breakfast reception. Unimaginable service. It's so intimate.
The location of the hotel is excellent. In Cleveland downtown,, I walked to the eight attractions in almost a day. Opposite is the cathedral. Walk for 10 minutes to the Rock and Roll Hall of People
The breakfast room manager service is super good. Follow the side. What is missing is immediately made up. I feel that every guest is full of energy.
Cleveland, a beautiful city on the edge of the Great Lakes, accidentally saw a lot of tigers in the Year of the Tiger. The hotel is big and clean, and the breakfast is standard American breakfast.
Recommend a security team to assist guest with complaints that front desk employees obviously didn’t have time or the access to aide needs. I was insulted and disrespected by another guest, nothing was done nor suggested to assist me, no sensitivity to how emotional the situation was to me, and instead was forced to leave and then arrested for waiting outside the building for my minor children to come down because I pressed buzzer to once again ask for assistance in escorting them until they left the building. The night counter worker told inaccuracies as to me trying to re-enter the building which I never attempted, just simply pressed the button and returned to the car. My kids were left in tears from this nightmare
Good location ,Hotel seemed in a good shape ,clea lines was lacking, either cleaned in a rush .Our washroom floor was not mopped u can tell by bath mat turned black as we wiped the water spill from shower. Emptied the washropm garbage bin and handful of hair in garbage bin.The beds were comfy and clean. The staff were friendly especially the food/catering side. The parking attendant on the other hand was very rude.He sat there on his phone while we struggled to get access into parking lot although we had pre paid for parking. .He seemed annoyed when we asked for help. Not sure what he he is there for .Turned out it was their scanner issue. Parking is extra 20 dollars a night and breakfast buffet was 18 dollars for adult and $ 6 or 8 for kids under 12 .
The hotel is a building with a bit of history, the corridors and rooms are quite large. There is a complimentary breakfast and dinner, and there are a few glasses of alcoholic drinks in each room, free popcorn. There is a parking fee of 28 US dollars per day at the entrance of the hotel. There are many other parking garages around the hotel, usually about 10 US dollars a day. Overall very good

GGuest UserOur stay at The Lodge was nice. There were a few little things that I questioned, but that honestly is normal & did not really effect our stay. Everything in the lodge was clean & I do not know what wonderful smell they are pumping through the building... but walking into the lobby was wonderful!
The decor was nicely decked out in holiday cheer! The Christmas Trees were beautiful too. We booked a King Suite, as the pic on Trip.com showed a jacuzzi tub in the suite. This is not the case. In fact, The staff at the front desk said they have not had jacuzzi tubs in the rooms for over 8 years. That was a disappointment...
And King suites do not have a balcony, but Queen suites do have a balcony with sliding doors! They front desk did not offer to help with that misunderstanding, as offering a ”Fireplace room” (they said the jacuzzi rooms now had fireplaces after the removal of said tubs??... but no fireplace in my suite) or offering anything else... probably because I booked thru a third party(trip.com). It was definitely a spacious room, but a little overly ”roomy” with just a king bed, 2 nightstands, the entertainment/dresser, completely with a fridge in the cabinet, a very small ”dining table”, a glass coffee table & a pull out couch. The thermostat was set at a scorching 75 degrees, which I immediately turned down. At first, I figured it was just a fluke, but the power did go out one evening & sure enough, when the power was restored the thermostat reset to 75 again! We dined at the bar on a few occasions, which was nice & staffed ok, not the latest hours for a bar. The food is good & of course a little pricey. I'm sure there is a lot more to do during the nicer seasons... the answer for everything it seemed was ”it is the off season”.
Overall, it was a nice place to stay in wine country & probably will return next year.
GGuest UserTraveling for a death in the family, upon our arrival, which was a little bit past the 3:00PM check in we were informed they were short staffed in housekeeping and a room wasn't yet available and if we were OK with a handicap room, I had no problem because I am disabled . No biggie, we went out for dinner. The problem was we didn't receive a phone call until after 6PM, 3 hours past the time that you could check in and our room was a standard room, clearly not to aid in handicapped people . Had there been a viewing service that evening, it would of been an major issue because we had to put our belongings in another family members room. We looked past that. When we finally got in our room there was like 2 pieces of toilet paper on the roll with no extra rolls available. Again, no biggie, went to the front desk and they took care of it quickly. Day of the funeral, go to take a shower, no body wash. Again, front desk was notified and they took care of it. Our final night, I was woken up by a clock alarm coming from another room that woke me up way to early than the time I had my own alarm set. I wasn't about to go and try to locate this mysterious alarm and have it shut off, but the alarm rang well over 15 to 20 mins. The hot tub was nice to relax, but sand was on the bottom of it, and the pool was extremely cold to me.
I will say the staff that was on sight were very friendly and helpful to the best of their ability considering their lack of people to do required jobs and I did appreciate there was parking for Veterans. If I were traveling just with my wife and children I would of opted for a different hotel, but seeing how this was the location my family decided for all of us to go so we could be together in our time of mourning, it is what it is. I will not be looking into this chain of hotels for a future travel plans.
KKJBoydThe staff was very nice and apologetic when the stay did not go as planned. The hotel was very quiet and didn't feel crowded even though we were told they were sold out. Those are the good parts of our stay. The not good parts: our room smelled musty, but it took us a little while to discover why. My daughter took off her shoes to walk to her bed that was by the window and the air conditioner unit. What we thought was just stained carpet wound up being sopping wet from the unit dripping. The floor was so saturated that it would literally make a squishing noise when we walked on it. I went to pick up the phone to call the front desk and there was no dial tone. After checking the wiring and finding nothing amiss except that it was very clearly dead, we walked out to the front desk. The lady at the front desk apologized profusely and tried for several minutes to find us another room for the night, she explained that they were completely sold out and had nothing else for us. We went back to our room to get some rest as we were in the middle of a 15+ hour road trip and it was already after 11pm. We listened to the AC unit dripping onto the floor all night long. In the morning, I went to take a shower only to have absolutely no hot water at all. The water got to around room temperature and that was as far as it would go. All in all, not a great experience, but the staff was very polite and apologetic.

GGuest UserThe place is clean. The staff is very nice.
The breakfast needed help but no complaints.
The only complaint I had was I was woken up twice by someone else's door closing.
I would go back
YYANHotel location near Goodyear, safer, breakfast is very clean with fruit and coffee, you can order it is very early at about 9:30, the hotel staff is also very Nice, is still some distance from Akron University, Need to drive.
SSextantisGood location with quiet surroundings despite near major road. Very close to many outlets at Rookwood commons and pavilion. Very comfortable beds. Strong internet connection. Large TV with many channels.
Large and clean bathroom.
Thoroughly enjoyed staying here.
Special mention must be made of one outstanding young staff called Mike.
Initially he could not find my reservation despite me having a confirmed reservation number. It was later he decided to allow me to see the list of guests arriving that day. I realised my COLLEAGUES name was in the list of guests and later realised that I made the booking under my colleague's name accidentally without realising it. Thanks to this being resolved we were able to check in without having to make a new booking and incur the loss of the trip.com booking. He also helped me to change the booking name to my name instead. A big kudos to mike for saving our business trip from being a disaster!!
GGuest UserWe had a delightful stay with you! The Christmas decorations were stunning! We loved the tall Christmas tree laden with crystal, red and silver ornaments that greeted us in the beautiful lobby.
And the charming farm-themed photo nook was gorgeous and heartwarming! We also loved the simple but powerful statement of the nativity scene on the grand piano. The soft carols playing in the background were lovely.
The hospitality was wonderful as well! Everyone was so friendly and helpful-especially the two sisters:)!
The breakfast and evening snacks were delicious -especially the Amish cookies with maple frosting!
The rooms were comfortable and clean, although I missed some of the old-fashioned charm with the updates.
We would stay there again in a minute. It was nothing short of magical.
