The reason for the itinerary, temporarily stayed at Yichang East Station for one night, so I booked an affordable Hiyou Hotel nearby. I planned to stay for one night, but the result was far more than expected. First of all, the hardware facilities are clean and tidy, the decoration style is comfortable, and the sleep is very good. The next day I saw the hotel with laundry and drying facilities. Think about it then wash it, and watch the time down Zhang Luo. The beauty at the front desk was very enthusiastic, just this small thing, busy before and after. Just wanted to give a quick review. The river view is indeed nice, but not all river-view rooms have particularly good angles. We booked two rooms, and only one had a decent view. Actually, we only stayed one night near the Three Gorges Family Scenic Area because we wanted to visit it. Now I think the Three Gorges Family Scenic Area is just a mess.

The room was incredibly neat and clean, and the service was excellent with quick responses. I left my bag in the lobby, and the staff even contacted a courier to send it back to me. The lady was so kind and beautiful! Yichang is truly wonderful, everyone should come and visit!

Hotel is located in a tourist area which is quiet due to low season or poor tourist arrival, Many shops and tourist centres are closed. The hotel is ran by a family of 5 to 6 members and staff. The room is clean and well kept. The restaurant provide fresh vegetable provided from their vegetable plot nearby with home cook meal. Good place to practise some hiking and have good views of dam, river and bridge views.

Upon entering the room, I found it to be very clean and tidy, with all the necessary facilities. There were also beautiful landscape paintings on the walls, creating a lovely atmosphere. The hotel service was also excellent! In the afternoon, as I was preparing to head to the scenic area, the hotel owner patiently explained the situation of several major tourist attractions nearby – very helpful!

The location is excellent, located in the core downtown area of Yichang-CBD business district, downstairs is the North Gate Night Market, Yichang fireworks is the most breathable place, a variety of local specialties are full of eyes. A 10-minute walk, you can reach Ocean Department Store, China World Trade Center, Jiefang Road Pedestrian Street, Binjiang Park, etc. Whether it is a business trip or a holiday trip, it is very convenient to explore Yichang's local cuisine and shopping. After dinner, walk to the riverside very close.
