Facilities: There's a restaurant on the first floor that offers breakfast. The selection isn't huge, but it's perfectly adequate. The room was spacious and had a large window. There were no strange odors, and the bathroom was a good size with a separate wet and dry area.
Ambiance: Clean and tidy, with lively decor. The signature Ibis red makes it feel warm and inviting.
Service: The young lady at the front desk had a smile that could melt anyone (and I'm a woman!). She was a major highlight of the hotel – so enthusiastic and empathetic. When she saw my mom and I were sharing a bed, she proactively upgraded us to a twin room, which was also very spacious, and even gave us complimentary egg tarts upon check-in. Her proactive spirit and warm service made our stay truly enjoyable! 😀
Hygiene: The hotel maintained the usual Ibis standard of cleanliness. There was no hair on the room floor, and both the toilet and shower areas were excellent and very spacious.

(LFAngel) Diana BaRobHonestly, the photo they used seems to be AI-generated or at least edited, so don’t expect it to look THAT good. HOWEVER, with that said, it doesn’t defeat the purpose of how a hotel should actually operate. This is my honest review:
✈️ LOCATION: (10/10)
- It’s literally less than 5 minutes away from “Harbin Taiping International Airport” (HRB).
- There is also a street filled with small restaurants and grocery stores, just one minute away from the hotel. We recommend eating at 云姐: 金麦手擀面 (Sister Yun: Golden Wheat Hand-made Noodles) 👍🏼
💁🏻♂️ SERVICE: (10/10)
- They are very transparent about the lack of English speakers, and the use of Translation apps. It was quite easy to communicate with the staff despite the language barrier, because they had a real-time convenient translation app.
- The staff were very accommodating, and them smiling a lot helped ease any discomfort. There was also a free transportation service to the airport, and the driver was equally as friendly.
🧴 CLEANLINESS AND AMENITIES: (8/10)
- Much like with the rest of Harbin, I LOVED their provided cosmetics, as they always have a scent of tea to them, and the feel is good. They even provided small delicious snacks.
- However, the reason why I didn’t rate it the highest is because compared to other hotels, it’s not the most clean-looking. Don’t get me wrong, it was clean, but it wasn’t the whole “spotless and sanitized” look. There was also A BIT of an odour once you enter the room. Just a bit tho, not to the point of causing extreme discomfort. Plus, it’s only upon initial entry, it fades right after.
🍲 FOOD: (?/10)
- I have no idea, because we didn’t try their food, sorry. We went out to eat 😭
🌸 VIEW: (10/10)
- Much like I’ve said earlier as well, the Hotel is beautiful but not as pristine as it looks, because the front is now filled with shafts, etc.
- However, I still rated it the highest because the view from outside our window, and to the left of the Hotel itself was beautiful (at least in the winter, during snow season, when we came). It was a vast plane field (corn field, I assume) filled with snow, and you get a clear view of the sunset/sunrise, as well as the Tower of the Harbin Airport.
All in all, I’d rate the overall stay a 9/10. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending the Hotel to my friends, and my family and I would love to stay there again if we ever come back to Harbin ! ~

johana johariWe are really satisfied with the room. It's cosy for us who were tired with travelling things ever since been here from last week. We recommended this hotel to other friends and families all over the world to come to Harbin. Thank you for both receptionist, Ms Sun Minyi and Yang Jiayi who helped us a lot during our stay. We really like your souvenirs. Hope to see you again.

Facilities: Everything, from the inside out, feels brand new. The layout is well-designed and controls are easy to use. The bathroom is spacious with a great wet/dry separation.
Environment: It's very close to Harbin Station, less than a 10-minute walk away, and bus route 118 runs over the bridge nearby. There's also a small convenience store right next to the hotel, which is super handy. The soundproofing is excellent too, it's very quiet! Parking isn't very convenient though, so drivers should take note.
Service: The front desk staff are all very professional, polite, warm, and attentive, without being overbearing – absolutely lovely!
Cleanliness: It's genuinely, genuinely clean; a very comfortable stay.

yincolGood Side : The hotel staffs are very polite and the services is excellent overall. Rooms are clean and nice. But there are still some of the dowsides.
Downsides: First, the breakfast dining area is severely short of seats. Many guests came for breakfast but couldn't find a table and had to wait.
Second, during my 8-night stay, the coffee machine was broken for 5-6 days, yet no alternative instant coffee was provided. A cup of coffee for breakfast is really important for foreign guests.

I have had a 4-night stay at this Homeinn Selected Hotel (Harbin Central Avenue Pedestrian Street) Room #308 from 23 to 27 March 2026.
The Hotel is located very near the popular 1.5km Central Street (a must-go for people who love to immerse Russian architectural of the golden era). There are many eateries and shops along this pedestrian street, so it is extremely convenient to hunt for food, especially the Russia cuisines.
The Hotel itself is not old and run down as it appears quite new, however, the building can be quite old and it can be better maintained by the building owner. It has a modest but modern lobby with welcoming sofas, with free serving of hot coffee and tea, plus free supply of bottled water! It is generally clean and maintained. The hotel staff are polite and helpful, whenever I ask for directions and recommendations of food and places of interest.
The hotel family room that I have booked is about 400sq ft - it is meant for 3! The decoration is contemporary and modern, and the double-glazed has helped to shut the traffic noise off near 100%. It is certainly spacious and clean, with 1 queen bed and 1 super single bed, a small sofa set, and a big TV. It does not have a so called proper wardrobe, the proper vanity top is outside the very big shower room that is separated from the powerful WC. It has strong water pressure for comfortable showers everyday. The firm mattress and pillows are comfortable for my liking.
The Hotel also has a laundry room that provides free washing and drying for hotel guests. Within the laundry comes with a treadmill, a stationery bicycle, and a workout station for guests who wish to do some simple exercise. The hotel also offers daily breakfast buffets at about ¥49 per pax, which is limited in variety but it gives a good start for the day.
At SGD S$36 per night for a very spacious room without breakfast , I find it extremely value for money, and I will surely choose to stay here again when I visit Harbin again to experience the magical winter world!

Guest UserThe room was spacious and offered excellent value for money, much better than many similarly priced hotels downtown. I chose to stay near the airport because I had an early morning flight and didn't want the hassle of traveling from the city so early. The hotel provided a shuttle service and it's not far from the airport. I'll definitely stay here again if I have another early flight.

After reading countless hotel reviews, I finally chose this place and I’m so glad I did. No regrets at all. I was traveling solo, but somehow ended up traveling with many new friends along the way. Everything was perfect. The location is unbeatable, 10/10, right next to Central Street Avenue. I would happily stay here again on my next trip to Harbin.

We booked a twin room for 2 adults and 2 children. The owner kindly upgraded us to a slightly larger room. In the evening, my child was hungry and asked the owner's wife if she could cook some dumplings. The owner said the chef had already left. My child then asked if there was instant noodles, and the owner's wife not only gave him a box of instant noodles but also prepared it for him. My child saw coke in the fridge and asked if he could have one. The owner's wife also gave him a bottle. When my child asked how much it cost, she said, 'It's on the house, kid!' It was truly touching. The next morning, seeing that my child hadn't eaten breakfast, I ordered a plate of beef dumplings for him (35 per plate). He loved them and finished the whole plate. He also had two more bottles of coke. I felt really embarrassed and wanted to pay the owner separately for the coke and instant noodles, considering we had three bottles of coke and a box of instant noodles. But the owner's wife insisted on not taking any money. When we left, she even gave each of us a bottle of blueberry drink. They are genuinely good people, so kind and generous. Plus, I had a pile of clothes to wash that evening, and she even helped me wash and hang them. So, I will definitely recommend this place to my friends. If they come to visit this area, I'll definitely recommend Youran Shanju. And the breakfast in the morning was also very generous and delicious. Highly recommended!

Staying at this hotel was a delightful surprise! As soon as I entered the room, I was blown away by the giant projector screen and professional sound system. It instantly transformed the space into a private home theater, offering an incredibly immersive experience for movies or binge-watching shows – something you rarely find in hotels at this price point!
The room design was very stylish, with wooden elements and clean lines creating a cozy yet sophisticated ambiance. The smart toilet in the bathroom was a thoughtful touch, highlighting the attention to quality details. Plus, the mini-bar area had everything I needed, from a kettle to tea sets, making for a very convenient stay.
The service was also excellent, from a smooth check-in to an effortless check-out, with friendly staff throughout. My overall experience far exceeded expectations. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in town and highly recommend it to anyone who loves a great audio-visual experience and appreciates quality accommodation!
