Kilin Hotel JiaoXi ★★★★
"This hotel is outdated, you can see a thin layer of moss on the floor due to the showerhead dripping constantly, the public hot springs area has quite a few jet controllers out of order,l had to request a dehumidifier to get rid of moldy smells in the room. The breakfast was a reasonable price with an average quality, the rooftop naked spa area has beautiful night light views, also, the good thing was all the staff were super helpful for all the requests."
Yamagata Kaku Hotel & Spa ★★★★★
"The bed was super large and the comforter was very comfortable. The toilet was a Japanese-style bidet. Since the room had its own private onsen, I didn't go to the hotel's public hot spring this time. There's a gym and an e-sports room, which is really great! It's about a ten-minute walk from the Jiaoxi MRT bus station, which is a bit far. It would be more convenient if I could catch the train. The hotel room was clean, and the front desk staff were very friendly :)"
Hotel Pin Jiaoxi ★★★★
Enjoy hot springs in the room. The game room features age-specific designs and Switch games.
Just Sleep Jiaoxi ★★★★
"This seems to be a fairly new hot spring hotel. The overall vibe is simple and stylish, and the staff are very Taiwanese-style warm and attentive, which makes traveling back home feel really relaxing. The only downside is that the room is quite small, but land prices in this hot spring town are probably high, so it’s understandable. The breakfast is rich and delicious. I’d definitely stay here again next time."
Gamalan FL Spring Hotel ★★★
"This was my first time taking the train from Hualien to Jiaoxi Station. As soon as I exited the station, I walked straight and then turned right, and there were so many hot spring hotels and inns of all sizes. There were also stir-fry restaurants, izakayas, and even a night market street where I bought 5 different local fruits – they were absolutely delicious. Kavalan Onsen has many branches, and we booked a deluxe quad room. The hot spring tub in the room was also a quad tub, super spacious! Soaking in the hot springs was truly stress-relieving and helped me sleep well at night. The hotel also has a small fish spa pool for your feet, which felt like acupuncture – it was fun! The squid for breakfast was tasty too."
Wellspring by Silks Jiaoxi ★★★★★
"The environment is quiet and peaceful, and it's super close to the train station, just a three to five-minute walk to the bustling city center. The hotel staff are all friendly and enthusiastic, making us feel right at home during our stay. The room and bathroom were clean, and they provided coffee and tea. The mini-fridge had complimentary drinks, plus a delightful surprise: high-quality facial masks replenished daily! There was also a selection of pillows with different firmness levels to choose from. Every day, there's a Happy Hour offering free red and white wine, specially crafted non-alcoholic drinks, ginger tea, and some snacks."
Ya-Nold Hot Spring Hotel ★★★
"The location of this accommodation is great, and it even has a parking lot. The rooms are simple and clean, and the bathroom is spacious. The hot spring is very relaxing, and there's also a public bath to enjoy. The staff are very friendly as well. This will definitely be my first choice next time I stay in Jiaoxi."
Lakeshore Hotel Suao ★★★★
"The hotel staff were very friendly and enthusiastic, which I really appreciated. There aren't many special tourist attractions or themes nearby the hotel. The biggest highlight of the hotel is having both hot and cold springs available. However, the dehumidifier in the room was extremely loud, which was a significant disturbance for someone who has trouble sleeping."
CHECK inn HIVE ★★★
"The good thing is that it's very close to Luodong Station, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, and the night market is within walking distance. The downsides are that when we first entered the room, there was a strong foul odor, likely coming from the drain. We had to run the water for a while for it to improve. The bathroom walls were also moldy. Plus, there were mosquitoes in the room. They did provide an electric mosquito repellent, and I even saw an electric fly swatter at the front desk, so it seems the hotel is aware of this issue."

OA HOTEL
"Nice and cozy hotel by the beach, very nice view. The hotspring is a little disappointment"
THE ARCHIPELAGO
"This hotel must be the best in eastern Taiwan. It boasts unbeatable ocean views, directly facing Turtle Island, and is conveniently located near Wushih Port, making it easy to catch whale-watching tours and enjoy seafood restaurants. We stayed for two nights, but due to a last-minute change in our itinerary, we ended up in different rooms (the first night in a Sky Mountain View room, the second in a Deluxe Ocean View room). Both rooms had excellent decor and views. We switched rooms on the second day at noon, and the front desk staff were incredibly friendly. They had already prepared the ocean view room for us beforehand, allowing us to move in as quickly as possible. A big thank you to the front desk and service staff that day. The breakfast and dinner buffets were very rich and delicious, and the à la carte breakfast on the 3rd floor we had on another morning was also great. The public hot spring bath was fantastic. Overall, it's a wonderful five-star hotel that I highly recommend!"
Yilan Hibnb Guesthouse
"The quadruple room is bigger than expected ~ the bathroom is oversized ~ the whole is clean, clean and comfortable, the bed is also very soft ~ the boss is very kind ~ push"
Hotel Royal Chiao Hsi
Japanese-style charm with both indoor and outdoor onsen. The lobby even features a massive bookshelf!
Cuncyue Hot Spring Resort
Located near Luodong Night Market. It features balconies, hot springs, and relaxing nano milk baths.
The Westin Yilan Resort
"The hotel is chill, onsen is good and the staffs are very friendly. It is quite kids friendly"
Silks Place Yilan
Features spacious rooms, Chinese and buffet dining, indoor pools, saunas, and spa pools.
Orient Luxury Hotel-Jiao Xi
"The room was fully equipped with smart features, and although some of the devices were a bit clunky, it still made for a fantastic experience. The sound system was great, and the room itself was large and comfortable! The communal activity area even had a waterslide! While it was on the smaller side, even I, a 'big kid' at 168cm, had a blast on it. The ground-floor terrace pool was huge and wonderful, offering plenty of Instagrammable seating. There was even a separate smaller pool area! It's absolutely perfect for a family getaway with children, and the soundproofing is excellent, so you never have to worry about disturbing anyone. The in-room hot spring was superb! The tub was so spacious it felt like it could easily accommodate five people. The only minor downside was the bed, which was quite firm. However, for those who prefer a firm mattress, it's a major plus and a refreshing change from hotels that only feature soft beds."
Vasty Hotel
"Location & Amenities was convenient. Service by hotel staff was good & friendly. Like the in-house spring bath much welcome after a long day out. Would recommend to others for worth of value for money."
Urban Oasis Inn
"Everything was a great experience. A long self-guided tour. And I can stay in such a great place👍👍👍"
Hotel Les Champs Jiaosi
"The hotel is located next to the Jiaoxi Passenger Terminal and a few minutes' walk from the Taiwan Railway Station. The transportation is extremely convenient. I took Tonglian 1661 from Taoyuan International Airport directly to the Jiaoxi Transfer Station and got off and left my luggage in a few minutes. To the hotel, it is very quick to take the Taiwan Railway to Yilan and Luodong. The attitude of the hotel staff is also very good. It is very convenient to go out to the busy city."
YZ SPA House
"Second stay, very good service, very good location, this time I experienced the bedrock bath, bedrock bath can detoxify, improve sleep quality, very good experience, sincerely recommend Youzhai is the first choice for staying in Yilan~"
Crownshine Resort
"The breakfast was absolutely delicious with a rich variety of dishes. It wasn't a rough hodgepodge, but clearly prepared with care. The juice wasn't the bottled concentrated kind; you could taste the pulp, giving it a freshly squeezed feel. The toast wasn't just plain white bread either, but came in different flavors. The dining hours were also thoughtfully extended until past noon, offering more options for late risers!"
Four Points by Sheraton Yilan Jiaoxi
"Truly great, and the service was superb."
One Fukun Hotel
"The room is clean and tidy, the public hot spring area has abundant SPA facilities, the breakfast is rich in variety and unique in taste, suitable for family travel, close to the station, good environment, quiet at night"
