Cuncyue Hot Spring Resort

Staying at the Cuncyue Hot Spring Resort in Yilan was a fantastic experience overall! The in-room hot spring bath design is thoughtful, with separate pools for cold and hot springs. Soaking in the bath while enjoying the night view outside the window was incredibly relaxing. The swimming pool is entirely outdoors; the sunlight streams in during the day, and at night, the lights reflect on the water, creating a romantic and pleasant atmosphere. Although you can't see the Lanyang Plain, the surrounding breeze made us feel completely immersed in a vacation vibe. The buffet offered a wide variety of delicious food. The seafood was fresh, the desserts exquisite, and the freshly carved steak and sushi are highly recommended. The bar's night view was a particular highlight, with the sparkling city lights outside the floor-to-ceiling windows creating a romantic scene reminiscent of Hakodate. The staff were friendly and always smiling, making us feel right at home from check-in to check-out. This is definitely a hotel worth revisiting!

The room was very spacious and comfortable, with both hot and cold spring water. The front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic and helpful, and the brunch was fantastic – I even got to enjoy some drunken shrimp, which made me so happy! 😊 It was a wonderful family trip, and I'm looking forward to staying here again next time.

I had read reviews mentioning long queues for check-in, but on the day, it only took about 5 minutes. The room was significantly larger than those in other hotels, and there was a hot spring bath available. The 5th floor also had an open-air bath, which was rarely crowded. The only minor downside was that the toilet in the room would gurgle and spray water intermittently, and the noise was quite loud. However, closing the door did muffle it a bit. All the staff were very enthusiastic, and there was plenty of parking available.

Nestled in one of Yilan's tallest buildings, this hotel boasts exceptional night views and spacious rooms that easily rival well-known five-star chain hotels. However, there are two minor drawbacks. Firstly, the chairs, sofas, and nightstands in the room show noticeable wear and tear, which makes the room feel a bit dated. Secondly, while breakfast is served until 12:30 PM, the selection and taste are just average. Despite this, I would still recommend it to friends and family.

The hotel was very clean and the service was excellent. My son really enjoyed the breakfast here – there were lots of choices and it was delicious! It's about a 10-15 minute walk to Luodong Night Market. We'll definitely stay here again next time we're in Luodong!

The sodium bicarbonate beauty hot spring and bath crystal salt experience were quite good. In the afternoon, there are small refreshments available in the lobby. The breakfast at 1F Ming Chu Buffet (6:30 AM - 12:30 PM) can easily be enjoyed as a brunch. The R floor rooftop Sky Bar offers 360-degree panoramic views. The downside of the accommodation is its proximity to the railway; lower floors or specific room types may easily hear the operational sounds of passing trains. It's recommended to request a higher floor when booking and try to avoid consecutive holidays to ensure the most comfortable vacation experience!

Everything was great except for the Long Island Iced Tea being served in a paper cup. The facilities and service were excellent, especially the nude bathing pool, which I had all to myself on a weekday. It was a bit quiet with no one else around, but I really enjoyed the private experience. I've already recommended it to friends, suggesting they stay on a weekday too. The breakfast was pretty standard, nothing special, but it filled you up.
