Located in Jiaoxi, Yilan, the Gemalan Hot Spring Hotel is close to the business district and has convenient transportation. It can be reached within walking distance from Jiaoxi transfer station or railway station. The hotel adopts a modern minimalist style, combined with marble design, to give travelers a high-quality enjoyment at a modest price. Each guest room has a hot spring bath, which is made of moonlight stone and exudes a low-key and luxurious luster. The soup can relax the body and mind. At night, in the open-air bathing pool set on the top floor, feel the breeze and enjoy the quiet time under the moonlight. The restaurant specially selects local seafood in Yilan, tastes the sea and land meals of "Gamalan Hot Pot", and the experience of "hot spring cooking" facilities. It is suitable for the whole family and worth a visit!
Located next to Tangweigou Park and on the main street of Jiaoxi, each guest room has an independent hot spring pool. Whether traveling or visiting for business, you can enjoy the stress relief of the hot springs after rest, which is a wonderful ending to your trip to Yilan.
After passing by the Hsuehshan Tunnel tunnel, the silence of your Yilan Journey begins. The 蘭陽平原 approaches you with welcome and happiness. Our precious hot spring is at 43 degree, just at the right temperature to warm you with comfort. There is no shortcut to happiness other than Muen Yuan Dong Hot Spring Hotel.
This B&B is located in the Jiaoxi Hot Spring District. It has a good location and convenient transportation. Although there is no breakfast included, eating out is a pleasure in Taiwan, so it doesn’t really matter.
Because it is a hot spring hotel, there is a private hot spring in the room, which is a big plus.
However, the decoration style of the room is more childish and dreamy. It may be because the main customer base is families. For me who is traveling alone, it is a bit unsuitable. The colors and layout are a bit too cartoony.
In addition, the mattress bedding smells a bit like old people's smell, which is not very comfortable, but you can only bear with it.
Apart from that, the overall living experience is OK without any major problems.
The Crown Hotel is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. Visitors to Yilan will find that the Crown Hotel is a fantastic accommodation choice. At the end of a busy day, travelers can unwind and relax in the hotel or go out and enjoy the city. This Yilan hotel features parking on site.

GGuest UserAll kinds of feelings are good
The most important thing is that the service staff are very kind.
If I have the chance to visit Yilan again, I will want to stay there again.
Kkuai pengThis hotel is quite ok. Although no one will come in to clean during the stay, you can go to the front desk to ask for supplies. The bathroom is also ok.
I read reviews before saying that the sound insulation is not good, but in fact it is not bad. You may also use earplugs to sleep; the transportation is very convenient, it is only a 5-minute walk to the train station, night market and meat soup. The shop selling souvenirs nearby is also good; the staff are also very good. We will introduce delicious food near the night market when you enter the hospital.
P.S. The basement of that building is for commercial property, so single travelers who don’t mind don’t want it, but I haven’t encountered any weird people in the few days I’ve been there, so it should be fine if you notice it.
TTango GinaI was impressed by breakfast, no processed food, some are the most primitive and prototype food, roasted sweet potato roast pumpkin, pumpkin soup, carrot kiss fish porridge, scallion pancake roast chicken, boiled eggs, up to four kinds of fruit, plus milk tea orange juice and coffee series.
Regardless of the building, garden planning, room layout and restaurant furnishings, they are all European style, and the environment is very clean. I saw the service staff finishing the garden and facilities for two days and one night.
It was my first time to take my cat out and I felt good.
BBenjo8Been here a few times . It’s always peaceful and the hot spring does have a hot sulphur smell unlike the other hot springs in Jiaoxi. Normally when we check in before we get offered lots of help and because we’re here with a baby they would ask if we need bathing stuff for babies as well as a bed mini protection gate/ wall which prevents the little one from falling off the bed. However , this time round we had to ask for these stuff ourselves for the first time!
Also, we normally ask for an hour late check out because our toddler usually naps during that time where we would offer to pay for the over time . 3 times they had given us a free extra hour, but this time the woman refused and said I had to pay an extra half day board for an extra hour which is ridiculous. She said it was full, however when I checked availability online they had plenty of room so she was obviously lying.
Shame , I used to like this place , now I would reconsider coming here again as the level of service has dropped and we were becoming regulars at one stage !
AAnonymous UserWhat a special experience. The place is far away and not close to the city. You have to drive there, otherwise it will be difficult to get there!
The choice of being close to nature, the air is fresh and the house is spacious!
AAnonymous UserRoom was big and good. Clean and location is convenient! We enjoyed the evening snacks given by the property. If driving then just take note as if no space, woll need to park at opposite hotel.
彼彼得說It’s a very comfortable hotel. Children can use it all day long and it’s very close to nature. There’s a prairie where they can run. There’s also football and bubble balls for everyone to play with. It’s a great memory. However, one small drawback is that the water pressure of 512 is not enough. , there will be hot water and cold water suddenly, and children can easily get burned.
JJeffery COverall good. Cleanness was decent for the price
Bad service due to delayed check in.
We arrived around 3:30 was told to wait at a resting lounge till 4:00 to check in. However once we lined up at the counter at 4:00 was told the room wasn’t ready.
AAnonymous UserFirst of all, this is a very old hotel that has seen truly better days. While maintained well, it has retained it's original furnishings and decor from the 1980s and 1990s. Staying here reminded me of my childhood travelling with my family in the 80s. The actual room does not look anything like the ones shown on the website. The hard floors mean you should wear their slippers or bring your own room slippers. The hot spring water advertised is just hot spring water pipes that go into your bathtub. There is a step that emulates hot spa step in the bathtub.
The breakfast was good with nice braised meat and eggs that you can put over your rice or porridge. There's also hot soy milk. But no hot tea, only coffee. The staff look tired but hard working.
There was a grumpy older lady receiptionist when we checked in and she was pretty rough in the check in process. E.g. ”if you don't put a number here, and you leave things in the hotel, we'll just throw them away! Just to tell you first.”
Room was quite small or cosy, depending on your perspective. The only thing new was the air-conditioner. The TV set had all the settings for channels but none worked. Internet wifi was not quite working too.
PPizza-boyI recently stayed at a charming bed and breakfast that exceeded all my expectations. The highlight was definitely the playful slide right in our bedroom—what a fun and unexpected touch! The kids had a blast and made our stay feel even more special.
Outside, the play pool was a perfect spot to relax and unwind. We enjoyed splashing around and lounging in the sun. The atmosphere was friendly and inviting, making it an ideal place to kick back after a day of exploring.
One of the best parts of our stay was the delicious ********* food served at the B&B. Each meal was bursting with flavor, showcasing authentic dishes that satisfied our cravings. I highly recommend trying their rice rolls and congee —they were simply delightful!
Overall, this bed and breakfast offers a wonderful blend of fun activities and fantastic food. Whether you're visiting with family or looking for a unique getaway, I can’t recommend this place enough. I’ll definitely be back for more sliding and savoring!
