Hotels with Pools in Hakone

Our entire stay made for a truly wonderful trip! 😊 From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly and received incredibly attentive service. The drinks, amenities, and loungewear were all excellent. Both the indoor and outdoor onsen baths in our room were incredibly relaxing! We also enjoyed the heated pool and steam sauna. I highly recommend checking in early to fully enjoy your hotel stay! I was especially happy that the breakfast had such a wide variety at the salad bar! We'd love to visit again! When checking in, the hotel will explain the tourist route of Hakone. It's a no-brainer to check in and just follow the map provided by the hotel. The service exceeded my expectations. I felt like a princess returning home during my stay. I thought this was the standard Japanese service. But later I stayed in other hotels and found that the service of Gora Kadan is far better than other hotels of the same price. The room is a bit old and the shower is also very old, but it is cleaned quite well.

This hotel is practically flawless. The facilities are excellent, the service is great, the food is delicious, the aesthetics are beautiful, and the location is perfect. Some particular highlights include: ① The entire hotel is a scenic spot; you could spend half a day just exploring it. The adjacent shrine is directly connected to a hiking trail. ② Japanese breakfast requires a reservation, while Western breakfast is walk-in. Neither is a buffet; both are served as courses, which are incredibly refined and delicious. ③ Chinese-speaking service is available throughout (though the hotel primarily hosts ********* guests, with very few mainland Chinese visitors). ④ There's a 24-hour complimentary beverage and coffee bar within the hotel. ⑤ From this location, you can quickly reach any part of Hakone by bus. I'd love to come back for the hot springs again at Miyanoshita Station.

Setting: The hotel is nestled in the mountains, offering fresh air and quiet nights. It's also near a small river and waterfall. It's also conveniently located near attractions like Hakone Shrine and Lake Ashi. Service: The staff were attentive, the breakfast was plentiful, and lunch and dinner reservations were available. Facilities: The hotel's overall decor is relatively new, and the rooms are significantly larger than similarly priced hotels in Tokyo. The hotel's indoor and outdoor hot springs are very clean, and soaking in the water while listening to the gentle cascade outside was a relaxing experience.
