ëëëIt was absolutely wonderful! This resort was exactly the style I was looking for, and the atmosphere was fantastic. At check-in, the front desk offered a room upgrade to a 'fixing room.' While it was close to the beach, I had really wanted a pool view, so it was a shame that the view turned out to be mostly rooftops. The first picture shows the view from the room.
The bathroom, sink, shower, and bathtub were all separated, which was super convenient and saved a lot of time. If you needed to get around, you could call a buggy to pick you up, which was very handy. There were no bugs inside the room either.
However, the soundproofing was terrible. Unfortunately, the people in the room next to mine had a wild party every single night, playing very loud music until late into the morning, and I could hear multiple people talking and laughing. (Though they did apologize to us for the noise.)
The artificial beach had shallow water and a lot of seaweed, so it wasn't great for swimming, but it was nice to look at.
The pool, on the other hand, was absolutely amazing!
This is definitely a place I'd love to visit again and again. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserThe hotel is slightly dated, but overall cleanliness is fine. There is a noticeable humid smell when entering the room, and the toilet also has a slight odor. The shower has strong water pressure, which is good, but the water flow from the basin faucet is quite weak. Breakfast offers mostly Filipino dishes, with an egg station and a selection of bread. Night time downstair restaurant you can have your dinner and drinks but they close 10pm .

View and waters are amazing, food was included in our stay (breakfast and dinner) and there are many free activities to take part. The view are spectacular! The rooms were clean and spacious for 2 pax- can fit up to 4 pax.Â
Favorite activity was to fish from the lagoon and watch the baby shark (white shark) feeding at 1130am and chilling at the hammock infront of the rooms.Â
Massages are quality if you want some wave asmr as they are done in the outdoor huts but only can do 1 hour blocks and require quick booking/advance booking as the masseuses are limited.Â
wifi connections are good islandwise but itâs more of chillax resort. The rooms have netflix and youtube.Â
do bring some night snacks or simple lunch as their restaurants close early at 9pm and ferry out are only during the lunch time

AAlexandra KalininaWe spent a lovely family holiday at Solea Seaview Resort during the Chinese New Year break and had a really enjoyable stay.
The staff were consistently helpful and welcoming. Our room was a good size, in reasonable condition, with clean bed linen and towels. The balcony offered a beautiful sea view, which we truly appreciated every day. Breakfast was also very nice, with a wide variety of food options to choose from.
The absolute highlight for us was the number of swimming pools and the fantastic aquapark â free of charge for guests â plus a trampoline area for a small additional fee. The children absolutely loved it! The hotel also encourages guests to leave reviews, and as a lovely compliment, my son received free access to the childrenâs playroom â such a thoughtful touch.
The beach is not the most Instagrammable, but the sea was perfectly fine for swimming practice. One small downside was that the gym operates only from 8am to 8pm, so late-night training isnât possible if thatâs your preference.
Overall, a solid 4 out of 5 â good value for money and a great option for a family holiday.

RRica MaffieThis hotel I had been interested in for a long time.
Both the doorman and the reception staff were very pleasant, making the stay comfortable and welcoming. The interior design was also very much to my taste.
The breakfast selection was excellent, with many protein rich dishes, and I was very satisfied.
One thing I noticed was that there were no hand towels provided in the room, so we had to manage with just one bath towel, which was a bit inconvenient.
Overall I would love to visit again.

AAnonymous UserLocation is great. Itâs near the airport, near the beach, many restaurants and convenience stores around. However the cleanliness of the hotel has so much more to improve. Pillowcases smelled used, so I had it replaced. The duvet cover also has some nasty smell. They do not clean daily. And when they do, they donât replace towels. They are nice when Iâm asking for assistance, but clean sheets and pillows should be a standard and I shouldnât ask for it pa. Their pool on the third floor is not that safe for children, as some of the tiles are quite lifted up, and it could cause small cut if youâre not careful. But their infinity pool near the beach is great, itâs big and clean. However, water there is expensive, so bring some with you if you decide to go.

RRIf youâre looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature, with a refreshing atmosphere in a remote location and especially if youâre into advanced diving this is an excellent place to stay. We stayed for just 1 night, as we wanted to explore other activities and weâre not advanced divers, so we decided to change our plans.
A quick tip: prepare cash in advance. The nearest ATM is quite far from the resort, so youâll need to take a tricycle or rent a motorbike. The resort only accepts cash.
The highlight for us was the stunning sea view and breathtaking sunset. The property isnât very large, but with plenty of trees it feels secluded and peaceful. The food was also delicious.

GGuest UserLocation is good - walkable to restaurants a lot of them are Korean-owned which reflects higher prices except for Filipino-themed cuisine. Hotel rates are higher so I expected a higher level of service however, I was deeply shocked that when I asked for a bucket of ice, they said they charge P100. I am a traveler from the US and my job exposes me to travel usually 3 to 5 star hotels this hotel pretends to be a four-star hotel but the shocking charge of 100 pesos which is less than two dollars. Itâs just so ridiculous. It leaves a bad memory of this hotel for me. I think they are monetizing every little thing and that does not make them classy. We were in a group of four, and we also went to the dinner at patio Gavino rooftop and took the Buffet for 1000 pesos per person, but the selection was limited. It was just a good place to experience being on the rooftop however I have been eating out literally every day in my five weeks trip to the Philippines so I can compare prices the 1000 pesos was not justified maybe more appropriate for 600 pesos per person because there was nothing great about the food selection. I also went in the pool and it was a great four hours of swimming, but considering that they catered to a lot of tourist they should extend their full hours to at least until 10 PM because it is super hot in the Philippines. I canât understand why they have short pool hours when that is really the main attraction of the hotel. What is great though is there bathroom which is air-conditioned and pretty clean to take showers the breakfast is also pretty good and we had complementary breakfast for two days. The staff were great, but I cannot forget the 100 peso charge for ice this hotel should install ice machines in each floor since that is a big necessity considering how hot it is so for the owners I wish you would reconsider your business way of doing things and trying not to charge every little thing. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth and I do not want or believe I need to go back to your hotel.

GGuest UserI absolutely loved this hotel! The grounds are clean, beautiful, and meticulously maintained, with great attention to detail â which is so important! The service is a perfect 100/10; they won't let you think about anything but enjoying your vacation. One of the best massages I've ever had, and the staff are incredibly pleasant and genuinely knowledgeable, noticing every little thing and ready to help with whatever you need. I definitely recommend it!

GGuest UserSolea is a very large resort with plenty of activities and amenities to enjoy. It features eight swimming pools, giving guests lots of options to relax, as well as two restaurants and a rooftop bar where you can enjoy meals and drinks throughout your stay.
Because of the resort's size and popularity, you can expect it to get quite busy. Check-in and check-out lines can take some time, and it would be great if they could add another reception counter to better accommodate peak hours. The same goes for the breakfast buffet, especially on weekends, where queues can become quite long.
On a positive note, the staff are friendly, accommodating, and always willing to help. The rooms are spacious, with plenty of room for luggage, and each room includes a balcony, which is a nice spot to enjoy a morning coffee or unwind with a drink in the evening.
