location is good since its near a mall, and there are retaurants beside the hotel.
i like the bed, the room is clean and there's a fridge. however its not good if you are working during your stay since the wifi is not reliable and there is no signal for mobile data

I stayed here for 3-4 nights during a super typhoon in November. The typhoon was so severe that everything around us was in chaos, but I was amazed to see the staff clean up and restore everything to normal within half a day.
I had considered staying at a moderately priced hostel since Bantayan Island is more about activities than luxury resort stays, but then I found Ananya Resort at a similar price point.
For a beachfront property of this quality, the value for money is exceptional, and it's incredibly well-maintained and clean, so I highly, highly recommend it!
The resort staff are also very friendly. If you arrive on the island early in the morning, I recommend paying the 500 pesos for early check-in so you can save some time to rest or start your activities sooner!
The breakfast isn't a buffet; instead, you choose from a single menu of Filipino breakfast options. I recommend the Beef Tapa!
The only downside, as it's a budget-friendly resort, is that there's no hairdryer! If you need one, make sure to bring your own!

I had a hot, uncomfortable disappointed, and we were in utter shocked that the room I booked was not in their system. As I was rebooking, it was not the same as the first booking then blacked out occured. During the blacked out the my booking end up with only a bed in dorm style quarters, public bathroom and no privacy.
My first booking was a package trip from Cebu to Manila which still in a wrong date. The actual date for the flight was to be on August 19 @ 9:50 but the three agent that I spoke to on the 18th got my hotel canceled and only provided me a rebooked solution. Sure, I can rebooked, thank so much for making my simple trip into **************** with my family, along withy impatient high functioning autism, 24 years old son who doesn't like his iPad to be low battery and no wifi.
To remind you that the black out still happening, so during my aunty and son lunch the black still going. I have no idea what kind of menu and price for food and drinks. As I saw the server put the first plate of food, I was shocked to see the mountain square shape nacho cheese beyond understanding. My aunty is only 90 to 100 pounds. She doesn't speak English and doesn't understand what she ordered, so she asked question about salad and a slice of pizza. But that not what the server brought, he came out again carrying nacho cheese, same size as the first nacho cheese/beef, except the second is chicken then a whole large Canadian bacon pizza. I couldn't believe the amount of food that was ordered then a Red Bull for my autistic son? My aunty was repeatedly saying that she only want salad and a slice pizza then water. What she really wanted the cook and server wanted to do is take away all the food back including the Red Bull. Oh, one more set of food, two big pieces of Burrito. The hotel is still in black out and stuffy hot and dark.
The staff are not good listener. My son started eating and drinking the Red Bull, when I saw him, I told the staff that Red Bull straight might kill him of a heart attack. I also mentioned that my son doesn't know self control when it comes to food which is called glutenny . He already pass his regular weight. I heard my aunty said that my son ordered all the food; she had no idea what he was ordering.
Meanwhile the black out still continuing till around 5:30 pm, every building around the area has their electricity back on but not the Papabo. Our booking still in process. The manager charged me for the lunch even though the mistake was the their service, taking order from an autistic person instead of asking his parents. The manager decided to booked us in the one room that has two bunk bed, private bathroom and has windows cause still black out. The room is stuffy and hot, it's on the fourth floor, no elevator and dark to go up the stairs. We decided to lock up our things in the room cause still black out.
My aunty over heard that the electricity bill was not paid. So as soon as I got down. The manager charged me 1500 pesos cash plus 1200 pesos for lunch that I only got to eat two slices of pizza and a couple of bite of nacho beef. I didn't get to have the burritos. The Papabo manager quickly went to pay for their electricity bill after she spoke to the owner.
My aunty and me went to the beach. I for sure locked the bedroom and still no electriçity. My son went to 7/11 to charge the iPad. We got back at the hotel at 8:30 or so and the electricity was on and my son also in the in the hotel. Do recognized that the hotel keys was an actual key, and I only have the key with. In my surprised our bedroom door was wide open, our things are scattered on the chair and table. Now, just today at this time, I'm still looking for my necklace that has my Mom piece of earing, my oldest son alligator tooth pendant and my initial pendant A.
I'll call the hotel when I finished looking at our things here.Yap, my necklace is missing.

If you are looking for a fancy stay, this isn't it. But if you just need a place to sleep for a very cheap price, Aosmec CampHotel is definitely worth it. It’s perfect for solo travelers or backpackers who are only in Manila for a quick layover or a US Embassy appointment.
The ”rooms” are actually indoor tents, which is a unique experience. Even though you're in a tent, the air conditioning in the main area is strong, so it stays cool enough to sleep comfortably. The location is the best part—you are right in the middle of everything, close to malls and transport. Just keep in mind that since it’s a shared space, it can get a bit noisy when other people move around or unzip their tents. If you bring earplugs and don’t mind sharing a bathroom, you really can’t beat the price. For a low-budget stay, it’s a solid 4/5 stars.

yas 8383I always use this place when I'm in Mactan Newtown. Overall, I'm very satisfied, but this time, I couldn't get through to the front desk, there was a power outage, towels weren't left after room cleaning, the air conditioning was acting up, and one of the elevators was out for repair, causing huge crowds. Despite all this, the service is great, and I absolutely love it overall. Even with the chaos, the staff are always kind, and I'll definitely keep coming back. It's just a shame that the facilities are showing their age; that's the only downside.

The hotel is very beautiful, like an oasis. Outside the hotel the view is completely different.
The service is excellent, they helped organize a trip to the sharks, called a taxi to the airport, since the grab does not work there. There is a 3 m pool for scuba divers.
There were not enough large towels, they gave 4 small ones.
In the mornings there was no hot water, barely warm.

john ray BIf you are looking for a place to truly recharge, this hostel is an excellent choice.
While it is not located very close to the airport, the slightly longer commute is well worth it for the atmosphere you get in return. Unlike many hostels near busy transit hubs, this one is remarkably quiet, allowing for a deep and uninterrupted sleep.

I've stayed here many times before, and it's always been good value for money. However, this time I had two different key card issues twice, which was a hassle. Also, I couldn't figure out how to work the TV, so I wasn't able to watch it.

The reception was already unfriendly. The bungalow was relatively poorly equipped, the remote control for the air conditioning was faulty, low water pressure in the shower, no pool towels, no toiletries apart from a microscopic bar of soap. The view of the countryside was beautiful, but we had already enjoyed it extensively on our three-hour drive from Dalaguete. The grilled fish was killed twice, once by the fisherman's hand and once by its stay in the freezer for several months. The vegetable soup tasted of nothing, actually, just like the fish, inedible. We were not asked for drinks and the water, which we were allowed to fetch ourselves from a dispenser, was a good 30° warm. There were no other guests, the musicless dinner, bathed in the glaring light of the CCTV, gave the impression of a graveyard - completely desolate. We were charged 1200 pesos for this outrage. The impression of poor gastronomic service continued seamlessly at breakfast and culminated in the impertinence of wanting to charge 50 pesos for a second cup of coffee. We had booked for three nights and paid 21.1 Kpesos. I've never had worse value for money in seven months in the Philippines! After the first night, we packed our bags and left the resort. I will refrain from praising the beautiful pool or the great view due to the miserable overall performance. No recommendation.
