4-Star Hotels in Changchun

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The service in all areas was excellent. The front desk staff were warm, friendly, and very helpful. The housekeeping staff were also very efficient, attentive, and kind, which made our stay very comfortable. The restaurant service was especially impressive. My husband is American and is not used to using chopsticks, so we truly appreciated that the staff thoughtfully provided him with a knife and fork every morning without us even needing to ask. It made him feel very comfortable and well cared for. The breakfast was delicious and offered a wide variety of choices. The restaurant manager was very attentive and asked about our food preferences. On our last day, we mentioned that we would like to try sweet and sour pork, and the manager kindly arranged it for us. We were very touched by such thoughtful and warm service. Overall, we are very grateful for the kindness and excellent service. It truly made our stay memorable.

The hotel is conveniently located right at the intersection of Renmin Avenue and Ziyou Road, with a subway entrance just outside. The room was spacious and clean, and the front desk staff were polite and enthusiastic. We stayed for two nights and received complimentary breakfast and drinks. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, and the hot dishes were different each day and tasted excellent. It was a very comfortable stay. During the summer, it might get busy with many alumni from Northeast Normal University, so rooms could be scarce.

My family ended up originally booking for one night but added two more nights. The non smoking room was nice smelling, clean and bed was comfy. The location was suitable as we had personal business to do in the area but near motian mall where kids can play at Meland and lots of restaurants around. I was impressed with the service at the hotel to do our laundry, with check out times and overall information. I also think you can check out at 6 pm which is super convenient. The breakfast was good. The chinese side of the family enjoyed it, and as a westerner I found it suitable to have eggs, toast, and coffee. The coffee is an automatic expresso machine and NOT packets which was wonderful and tasted normal for western standards. We stayed during the week and really found the hotel to be quiet and could sleep well. The gym is good as well with enough equipment for a suitable workout. Overall, we were pleased with the hotel and would stay here again. If I did have one minor complaint, It may have been one day when we were checking in two men started smoking in the lobby right by a non smoking sign which caused my daughter and I to leave the lobby for a few minutes so it would be nice if the hotel front desk enforced that especially with the signs up. Saying that, Changchun is a place where people tend to not abide by smoking signs but still be nice to have the staff politely address that.

The room was spacious and comfortable, located on a high floor with a great view. The hotel is conveniently located and the breakfast spread was fantastic, featuring Northeastern specialties like frozen pears and persimmons. The front desk staff were warm and attentive; they even helped me print documents, which was a huge relief in the cold winter, saving me a trip outside and improving my work efficiency. Plus, there were complimentary welcome drinks upon check-in!

The hotel environment is comfortable and quiet. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The whole design is well-thought-out with no car noise, and the soundproofing in the rooms is excellent, making them very quiet. All the facilities are complete, and there's even a gym. The location is also superb, right across from Yuanshengju Shuanrou (a hotpot restaurant), and next to Xintiandi shopping mall, making it a great choice for travelers! The biggest surprise was definitely the spiral staircase – it was my first time getting such great photos inside a hotel!

The hotel's facilities are well-maintained, and the room hygiene is impeccable. The location is incredibly convenient, being close to Shenyang Station. This century-old hotel certainly lives up to its reputation. The lighting and ventilation are both excellent. Check-in at the front desk was efficient and the staff were friendly. Getting around from here is easy, and the surrounding resort area is beautiful, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway or a family trip.

The hotel's location is great, close to the high-speed train station, just a 4-minute walk away. It's also only three subway stops to Changchun High-Speed Train Station, making travel very convenient. The hotel rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. The minibar offers complimentary drinks. Pu-erh tea is a signature beverage at this hotel and it's excellent. The front desk staff are warm, polite, and resolve issues quickly and efficiently. The breakfast area has a pleasant ambiance, a wide variety of dishes, and good food. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Changchun.

We stayed in this hotel during the Golden Week and booked a basic double room...you can imagine our surprise when we were upgraded for free in a beautiful and spacious suite! The room had 1 full bathroom with bathtub and another smaller bathroom with only the toilet and sink, a big living room with sofa, table and mini fridge, an office corner and a second room with bed, table, an ottoman and an amazing view!! The bed was extremely comfortable, even if a little small. The room also provided tea, coffee, several bottles of water and toiletries. We also had breakfast included and I was pleasantly surprised by the choice of both Chinese food and some Western (croissants, small waffles, banana bread, fruits, yogurt, juice, jams and butter). The location is pretty central but also far from crowds and noisy areas. There are 2 metros not too far away and the beautiful park Nan hu. All in all a very nice stay!

This is a renovated hotel, converted from an old one. The photos look great, but in reality, the decor and environment inside the scenic area still strongly reflect the old, dated renovation. The hotel itself, including the elevator, is quite old. The elevator and hotel share space with other apartments and office buildings, so I really don't recommend the facilities. However, the cleanliness was decent. Some of the staff lacked emotional intelligence, though the staff on our last day, when we were checking out, were particularly friendly. This is my honest experience.

The staff were overall very polite and hospitable during our stay. For instance, they helped fixed our room’s defective thermostat and promptly delivered us additional toiletries to our room by request. The breakfast area had a large selection of foods to choose from, allowing guests to customize their own plates to their liking. There was also a professional chef present to cook up additional dishes, such as fried eggs and noodles - both of which were excellently made. The room we were given, however, did not have a good ventilation system as there were multiple instances where the smell of cigarettes flooded into our room. Consequently, this forced us to open our window to air out the room. Our bathroom door also could not lock - let alone close at all. We hope that only our room was affected. With all said, our overall experience at this hotel was pleasant and we would recommend anyone visiting Changchun to come stay at this hotel.
