Room is tidy and clean. Housekeeping staffs are friendly and very polite. The wifi wasn't working throughout my entire stay. But I've got my own roaming working. Breakfast is nice and healthy. Pool is nice and clean, gym is good enough for quick workout. View is great!

The hotel room was very well equipped. The beds were comfortable and the mattresses were soft and hard enough for me to sleep well. The air conditioning in the room cooled well and the internet was stable, which fully met my daily needs. The bathroom was clean and hygienic and the quality of the toiletries was good. The taste of the food and beverage was also very good. In addition, there are many snack streets near the hotel, which is convenient for us to taste local specialities. The location of the hotel is also very convenient to the metro station and bus station. I chose TRYP Miami Blue Lagoon mainly because it’s within walking distance to my office, and that alone made the stay extremely convenient. The location is one of the biggest advantages, there’s a Starbucks, Publix, Panda Express, and several other shops and restaurants just steps away, so grabbing coffee, groceries, or a quick meal is effortless. The hotel itself is comfortable and well-kept. Rooms are clean, the area feels safe, and being near the airport without dealing with constant runway noise is a big plus. Check-in was smooth and overall service was good. If you’re looking for a hotel that combines comfort with a very practical location for work and daily needs, TRYP Miami Blue Lagoon is a solid choice.

I stayed for just one night during a short layover on my way to the Cayman Islands. The location is very convenient—close to the airport with a free shuttle, which was great. The shuttle was easy to find, located in the departure area between gates 7 and 23. The room was clean, but there was no kettle in the room. I could’ve probably asked the front desk, but I didn’t want to bother them.

I arrived at 7:00 AM and found no staff, no reception, and no check-in instructions. My wife and I had to wait outside until another guest happened to come out and let us in. Inside, I met someone who I thought was staff, but he was just another guest. He tried to help me contact the hotel, but no one — not even other guests — could reach the manager.
There is no real lobby, just a yard. I waited three hours outside until someone finally responded. Then I was told I couldn’t check in until 3:00 PM unless I paid $100 extra. That’s way more than most hotels charge for early check-in which is about 20$. I asked for a refund so I could leave — they refused.
With no choice, I left my luggage with the housekeeper (the only helpful person) and had to walk around the city with my wife for six hours before coming back.
When I finally checked in, I just got a text message with a door code — no person, no welcome. The room had lots of bugs, and both of us got bitten badly overnight. There were even cockroaches in the kitchen.
This is not a real hotel. It’s overpriced, poorly managed, and has no customer service. Avoid if you care about basic hospitality.
