AAnonymous UserSt. Mark's Square is just across the bridge! The booking description said it had one double bed and one sofa bed, but it's actually a suite with two double beds and four people, which exceeded my expectations! The shower room is a bit narrow; you might accidentally bump your arm (I'm a medium-sized person). If you like to drink water in the room, bring your own kettle; the capsule coffee in the room is quite good! You can adjust the air conditioning temperature yourself in 10 minutes (my family members are very efficient). Breakfast is a standard white meal; it might be a bit slow on Sunday due to the crowds, but it's much better on Monday.

GGuest UserI liked the hotel's close proximity to the main square. A hearty breakfast is included in the price. The room is clean, with windows overlooking the neighboring building. It has all the necessary amenities. I recommend this hotel for its affordable price.

AAdam23We had a great experience staying at this hotel! Although it's rated as a three-star property, keep in mind that it’s three stars in Venice—which is definitely not the same as a three-star elsewhere. The charm and quality here exceeded our expectations. You won’t find a lot of reviews about this hotel, but I did come across a YouTube vlog by a mother who shared her family stay here. She said it was a really good choice—and she turned out to be absolutely right! We booked a Prestige Room with Canal View and specifically requested Room 101, which we saw on TikTok or YouTube (can't recall exactly where). The photos already impressed us, but the reality was even better. The ceiling was much higher than expected, which gave the room a beautiful, airy feel. The hotel still shows older pictures online, with an outdated TV, but we were happy to find a newer TV already installed. The amenities were excellent—truly some of the best I’ve experienced in a hotel of this category. Breakfast was on the smaller side, but absolutely sufficient. The cakes and pastries were quite decent, and having them in such a beautiful, old-style interior made it feel like we were stepping back in time—in the best way possible. A huge shoutout to the staff, who were all genuinely kind and accommodating. We felt their hospitality in even the smallest gestures, and it was very much appreciated. Lastly, the location is unbeatable—just a short walk from the Rialto Bridge, close to everything. Being so near the heart of Venice made it easy to go out and explore, then return to rest and recharge. It's also conveniently close to shopping areas, which is a nice bonus. All in all, this hotel was a hidden gem. If you're looking for a stay that combines charm, comfort, location, and authentic Venetian vibes, this is a fantastic choice. That mother on YouTube was right—it really is a great choice!

AAnonymous UserSimple but clean hotel. Staff is also kind. It was close to the station and 20 minutes walk from the real bridge, so it was easy to sightsee. I was able to leave my luggage before check-in, but I was a little scared that it would be stolen because I just left it next to the receptionist, but it was okay. In the room, there was a shower room, TV, refrigerator, valuable box, kettle, coffee and tea. Check out was easy because I only left the key on the desk in the room.

NNicolas15The place is great for a budget-friendly stay near Venice. However, there is no free shuttle for guests without their own transportation, so we had to walk 20 minutes to the bus station and then wait another 20 minutes for a bus to reach Venice center. This was misleading considering the amenities listed. We paid around 60 euros for a 2-day, 2-night stay. Despite this, we still enjoyed our stay overall.

GGuest UserWe found the location quite easily. It’s conveniently situated within a comfortable walking distance from the bus stop where the airport buses arrive, which was a big plus after traveling. The administrator was very welcoming — we would especially like to thank her for the warm reception. We arrived before check-in time and were able to leave our bags, which was very convenient. When we returned at the scheduled time, we were able to access our room without any issues. During our stay, renovation works started in a neighboring apartment (apparently upstairs). Because of this, there was a bit less natural light in our room, and we could hear construction noise in the mornings, which started quite early. It turned out that the host was not aware that the work would begin so early either. We would like to especially highlight how the situation was handled. The host personally spoke with us, apologized, and managed to arrange for the work to start later. It was clear that our comfort truly mattered. For us, the situation was completely resolved. The room itself met our expectations. It was spacious — not one of those layouts where you walk straight into the bed with the bathroom door right there. The room was warm thanks to central heating. The water pressure was excellent, and the bathroom was simple but cozy. There was no breakfast option during our stay, but that did not significantly affect our overall experience. We had a pleasant stay and are grateful for the hospitality. It is clear that guest comfort is a priority here — if you experience any issues or need assistance, don’t hesitate to ask.

LLukeTW86Hotel Nazionale was a good hotel for the price. The rooms were clean, though a bit dated. The size is what you expect for a double (two beds put together) in Venice, enough to move around. The room had few amenities such as tv, desk, AC, but the dryer was a dated wall mounted dryer. The location is right next to the train station, so the easy to getting to the hotel was wonderful, and it’s right near a water bus station, so you have access to quick trips around Venice. The staff was friendly and helpful. Though you do have to move your bags up some stairs to the lobby yourself. The complimentary breakfast was appreciated. It wasn’t fancy, but it provided a free meal to start the day, and options included fruit, bread, cereals, meats, and eggs.

GGuest UserWe arrived at the most expensive hotel (AU$1600 for 3nts, 2 adults) we had ever stayed at, there was no lift to our room on the 1st floor. I struggled to carry 2 suitcases with no assistance from the gentleman in reception up to the 1st-floor room. This would be very difficult if we were older & unable to carry our cases. The wi-fi didn't work in the bedrooms only in the public areas - even though we were told it would. The bedroom had multiple squashed mosquitos on the walls next to the bed. The lace curtain had a couple of cigarette burns on it. The bedcover had a cigarette burn on it. The telephone handset cable was not connected to the .telephone - I tried to fix it but it wouldn't stay in the socket. The safe was not working. The instructions to use the safe were so old & worn out you couldn't read them. The shower wouldn't work properly, so I had to call the person in reception to assist us in getting it working. You had to get out of the shower cubicle to retrieve shower gel/shampoo/soap. There was nowhere in the shower to put these items. There was no room in the shower at all. I moved the stool in the bathroom to put my shower gel on it & two legs fell off the stool. The toilet roll holder wouldn't hold the toilet roll and it kept falling off. The bathroom bin was broken and filthy The breakfast ran until 10 am, the bread ran out & was not replaced & this was before 9 am. I am a travel agent & book many guests to stay in cities around the world including Venice I was upset that this hotel was an extremely poor standard and felt like it ruined the end of my beautiful holiday in Italy. We would be extremely grateful if you could offer us a credit for our next hotel booking with trip.com, we are in the process of booking our November Asia tour. Kindest regards
