3-Star Hotels in Budapest

This aparthotel is my LOVE. The rooms are small, but very comfortable. Excellent mattresses and crisp white linens and towels. Stylish furnishings and stylish design in all public spaces. The hotel is located in a quiet area. Public transportation is 5-7 minutes away. Original concepts and interesting stories from mid-20th-century Hungarian life in the rooms (each room has its own story). The reception staff is very welcoming and friendly. Roma showed us all the rooms (they were vacant, with no guests) and gave valuable advice on cafes and restaurants for lunch and breakfast. What a blessing, Russian-speaking staff! They made us absolutely free, excellent coffee in the mornings! There was always water in the room, crisp white robes, and slippers. A very important detail is the electric heated towel rail in the bathroom. It had rained the night before, and we were able to dry our wet clothes and sneakers overnight. Blackout curtains. We stayed at this hotel in June 2026, we came for Metallica, and the hotel was just over a year old when we arrived. All the plumbing is brand new, everything is perfectly done, the renovations are excellent, everything is clean and sparkling. It's a pleasure!!!! The hotel continues to be built, and more and more rooms are being added (on the 2nd and 3rd floors). There are large rooms with bathtubs. Dear Travelers, I highly recommend this hotel. Book now! Hampton by hilton budapest is a nice hotel in an ideal location with a super tasty breakfast. The hotel is located about 200 metres from janoy anos metro station, nice restaurants located nearby, lidll supermarket 300metres away. The breakfast includes: waffles which you can make in the waffle machine, fresh breads, rolls, fresh fruit juices, cheese, fresh meats, eggs, sausages, yoghurt, fruits, and hot dishes. Bed was comfortable.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The room wasn't huge, but it was perfectly adequate. The water pressure was excellent, and the large bathtub made for a relaxing soak. However, there was no fridge or kettle in the room, though hot water was available on the first floor.

After the airport bus leaves the city, you need to get on and off the subway station or take a long detour to cross the road. (Be careful when carrying heavy luggage) The hotel is on one of the first floors of the building. Please pay attention to the service hours of the building gate/reception desk, otherwise you may touch the door nail.

As a solo traveler, I spoke no Hungarian and my English was very limited. The front desk staff were incredibly kind, and my room was spacious and clean. I understand that amenities like conditioner and toothbrushes weren't provided, and I honestly didn't expect them. The view from the hotel was spectacular, with a beautiful church visible close by. Its proximity to the station made it very convenient. They kindly held my luggage for me while I was out exploring, which allowed me to see so many sights. I visited the Central Market and even had the chance to attend mass at a church. The area also boasts numerous attractions, and I even found an unexpected shopping mall nearby, which was a fun surprise! I would definitely stay here again if I ever return to Hungary. Thank you very much.

I had urgent night to stay. Difficult to find because no sign, luckily when I arrived the lady at counter still there to help me contact staff and they are were nice.  Hotel staff add my WhatsApp guide how to check in. But it will be more easier if you just make check in instructions by photos send to WhatsApp. Unlock the door need to download app which it very difficult if you no internet. Toilet no curtain to prevent water when I use their bath towel wipes toilet floor was dusty. Hotel not provide drinking water.

The accommodation was easy enough to find. I was not really sure what to expect because there are so many different pictures on the website. I stayed in a studio with a mezzanine bedroom. I had a bit of bother getting in because the link to a video of how to access didn't, but they did help. For the price it was fine (it was the grand prix weekend in Budapest). There were some maintenance issues - Kitchen and bathroom taps were both loose. Bathroom sink didn't drain properly and no plug. Bedroom ceiling light was broken so I needed to use the bed light and as there was no two way switch on it I was up and down stairs to switch. The flat was with a few others via a locked door to the central open staircase/walkway. Unfortunately people on the other flats came home at different times in the early morning so the later arrivals were pounding on the shared outer door to rouse their pals and get in. Having visited historical places in Budapest it really felt like a full immersive historical experience. I'm sure it would help people who want a better rest if more keycards were issued to higher occupancy rooms. I think the block has some locals and some rentals. I liked the local charm of the place, but not the nightly disturbance of the partying crews.

Very good location, but you might need to bare in mind that it is in the city centre so it will be loud during the night. It located just right next to St. Stephen’s square. Walkable distance to the river.
