I've never experienced waking up in the middle of the night because it was too hot in a hotel. The power went out in the middle of the night, I couldn't charge my phone, and the toilet wouldn't flush. I called the front desk and was told the power would be back on by 8 or 9 AM. It was still off at 9 AM, so I had to walk down 16 flights of stairs using the emergency exit. The stairwell was pitch black, the emergency lights weren't working, and there were no floor markers above the fourth floor. Absolutely terrible!

Nearby shopping malls and restaurants offer everything you could need, making shopping and getting around incredibly convenient. For those driving, there's 24-hour free parking, so there's no need to worry about anything. The front desk staff were exceptionally attentive, handling check-in and check-out with lightning speed, and even providing helpful tips on nearby attractions. The room was spacious and bright, spotlessly clean, with soft and comfortable bedding, ensuring a good night's sleep. The bathroom had a separate shower and toilet. The breakfast selection was also excellent, offering a variety of options, including Chinese porridge, pastries, and steamed buns, as well as Western bread and coffee. 💐 Overall, it's incredibly good value for money, perfect for both business trips and leisure travel. I've already recommended it to friends, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Hefei! [Thumbs up]

The hotel is situated alongside a gorgeous lake and mountainside. It's a very quiet, peaceful area perfect for getaways from the city of Hefei. I don't know if there is a whole lot to see around the general area, so I don't think the area itself is worth it if one is coming outside of Anhui. I rode up here on my motorcycle and was able to ride through quaint small villages and towns. There are hilly, foresty areas here, but I would caution both motorcyclists and car drivers to be aware of sudden, extremely steep hills especially up in the high mountains. I found the people working at the hotel friendly even though they didn't speak English at all. The young girl in particular was very helpful in helping me get set up with dinner and check in. There are virtually no other restaurants, convenience stores or supermakerkets in the nearby area, so I would recommend stocking up on snacks while riding around the area
