2-Star Hotels in Krabi Town

HThe hostel is truly great. First of all, it’s very conveniently located—just a couple of minutes from the embankment, the night market, Walking Street, and public transportation. At the same time, it sits in a quiet courtyard, so you can enjoy peace and rest. Another big plus is that right next door you’ll find a currency exchange, a laundry, and a motorbike rental—everything you might need is literally a few steps away. Inside, everything feels cozy. I especially liked the beds—you really feel like you’re in your own private space. The hostel provides showers, toilets, shower gel, and toilet paper. There’s also a common area where you can eat, drink coffee, or play board games. The staff are attentive and very friendly, which made my stay even more pleasant. The only small drawback is that the beach isn’t right next door, but it’s easy to reach—just 60 baht by songthaew. I didn’t mind trading a beachfront hostel for this one, because here I felt calm and comfortable. I stayed for more than 10 days in total. Of course, neighbors vary, but that’s not something the hostel can control. Thank you for the hospitality! If I return to Krabi, I’ll definitely stay here again without hesitation.

A nice clean hotel.  Very clean.  I got the cheapest room as it was just the one night and it was excellent.   Took a walk to the park by the river where there's 7/11,  and it was wonderful.  Basketball, soccer, tennis and nice soft track to walk or run.  And of course street food.  Hotel got me Taxi to the airport in the morning.   Also nice restaurant upstairs.  The stairs are really easy so don't be put off by no lift.  

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The value for money is excellent, and everything was very pleasant. The staff is incredibly welcoming, kind, and always ready to help with a smile. They truly made us feel comfortable and well taken care of. I would definitely recommend this hotel! Tips : book your boat trip with them, better price than in the town

Was given the beachfront unit next to the resort’s restaurant and just in front of the dining area. 1) IMPORTANT - I had booked the room under Palm Resort Krabi. However the driver and myself could not locate the resort as there was no signage! I realised later that Palm Resort was also Bliss Resort as they both shared the same address. It seems that the beachfront units are booked under Palm Resort, while the non-beachfront units are booked under Bliss Resort.  2) WHAT’S GOOD - Room is clean. - The bed is big and comfortable. There’s also a day sofa which is good for sleeping.  - The bathroom has an attached dressing room.  - Useful amenities such as a safe, fridge, hairdryer, beach bag for a day out, mineral water, drink sachets, toiletries, plenty of power points.  - Spacious verandah with lounge chairs. Great for lounging and enjoying the night.  - I also enjoyed listening to the sound of the waves as I laid in bed at night as the seawater is just a few metres away when it’s high tide.  - Many restaurants and convenience stores around the area! 3) NOT SO GOOD  - The dining area is just in front of the unit so you can might hear some muffled conversations and music. But it wasn’t too bad.  - There are gaps around the wooden framed glass doors and a few mosquitoes can get in. Come prepared with a repellent plug-in for the room. The resort staff will also provide a spray if you ask.  - The bed is directly opposite the doors, so you have to keep the curtains drawn fully.

Really clean and spacious rooms! Staff super helpful and friendly. It is a bit out the way but we hire a bike so was no problem for us! Highly recommend!!

The location was central at Ao Nang town centre area. But taxi drivers would usually get confused as there’s another place called J mansion which is different from J hotel. It’s a small place but decent to sleep or stay at for a few days in Ao Nang. The place is somehow clean but still needs improvement. The pro though was they have upgraded our room to a king bed. It was somehow comfortable & clean, the room was also spacious enough. So grateful for that. Downside was there’s no view from the room & no elevators, only stairs & there were no male staff to help us lift our luggage to the room. They were also strict with the check-out time. Staff need to smile more and be more friendlier to tourists though. Good thing there’s a laundry service for a fee. And hotel is too close to the shops and restaurants, tours, etc., only walking distance. Hotel also offers their own tours but we book our tours already elsewhere for a good discount. Overall, if you’re on a budget, I think this place is somehow okay to stay with for a few days in Ao Nang.

The hotel was nice the room very big with a small nice balcony. Everything there wt is needed. In the main floor is a a very nice cafe. The location is good not to far to major spots in krabi town. But the service was difficult. The people don't speak english and via Google translate they still didnt understand wht I wanted.

The room was spacious and generally clean, with ample parking available for guests travelling by car. Check-in and check-out were easy, and the large fridge was useful. Coffee and bottled water were provided daily, while the housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. However, the room and its furniture felt quite old. The bed was worn and too bouncy, and the air-conditioning was poor—the room did not become properly cold until the following morning. There was also noticeable noise coming from outside, making it difficult to get a good rest. The bathroom drain was clogged during our bath and we had to call staff to clear it. Reception staff were not particularly welcoming or friendly. Overall, it is a basic hotel with a spacious room and some convenient features, but it would benefit greatly from upgrades to the rooms, beds, air-conditioning, and bathroom maintenance.

First of all the picture of the beach is a COMPLETE SCAM, the place doesn’t look like this, must be a pic from maybe 20 years ago when phi phi was still not famous, their beach is packed with speed boats full with tourists, there’s no space to swim and it’s so loud and chaotic, not a place to chill or relax. They assigned me a room with not working AC after complaining 2 times they changed my room then AC worked great. Poor WiFi. At night when finally all the tourists and boats leave the beach, they start building huts so there’s not a second of calm or quietness I would never ever booked this hotel if i knew the picture is fake, their beach DOES NOT LOOK LIKE THAT!

While it may not be the most luxurious or extravagant choice, it provides a comfortable stay at a relatively affordable price point. Overall, my experience at Aonang Village Hotel was positive. While it may not have been a standout or exceptional stay, it provided a pleasant base for exploring the beautiful region of Krabi. If you're looking for a no-frills accommodation option with a convenient location, Aonang Village Hotel could be worth considering.
