AAmazing CathThank you La Bella Casa de Boracay. The staffs are friendly and helpful. As a solo traveler I love the location of the hotel. It’s 2 minutes from the beach. There’s also a church near it. I also felt safe during my trip. The location is quiet. It’s near Grotto, Coco Mama, and a few minutes walk to Sunny Side Cafe. They even upgraded my budget room for FREE into the one with own bathroom. I highly recommend it if you want a nice and affordable place to stay in Station 1 Boracay.☺️😍

AAnonymous UserGreat budget hostel. Everything is exactly as pictured. However, for me, it's a downside that there are no privacy curtains. When someone comes in late or leaves early, the light turns on and wakes you up. Plus, you feel completely exposed. The cafe prices are reasonable. The pasta is tasty, but there's way too much sauce – it's like a mush, and the sauce overpowers the entire flavor. The Wi-Fi is unstable. There's a balcony where you can dry clothes, but no basin for washing them. But overall, it's a good option for the price.

KKhan064I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It's cozy, quiet, charming, and was the cheapest option, leaving me with only positive impressions. I will definitely be back! Pros: 1. It's exactly 400 steps or a 5-minute leisurely walk to the beach. 2. Excellent and delicious continental breakfasts. 3. Free daily massage. 4. Welcome drink upon check-in. 5. A clean, cozy hotel where it's always quiet and peaceful. An ideal place to get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy a good night's sleep. 6. A 15-minute walk to the best beach on this island – Puka Beach. 7. Only a hostel would be cheaper. This was the most affordable booking option available. Cons: 1. The shuttle to the center runs infrequently (only in the morning or evening). 2. Remote location from shops and cafes. 3. Few tourists in the immediate vicinity. It feels a bit like being in a local ghetto. I'm only deducting a point for the infrequent shuttle service to and from the center.

GGuest UserBoracay Breeze Review Breakfast needs improvement, as the garlic rice is not always consistent(taste). It would also be nice to offer complimentary bread while guests wait for their meals. On a positive note, the Shanghai and bangus dishes are excellent. For added convenience, having a telephone or intercom in the rooms would help guests easily reach staff for concerns like cleaning or changing bedsheets, especially during longer stays. During check-in, we felt a bit disappointed since other guests received welcome drinks, while we did not. Providing basic cleaning tools such as a broom, dustpan, and a fresh rag would also be helpful for those staying long-term. The internet connection is somewhat unstable, though still better compared to other places we’ve stayed in Boracay. Lastly, kudos to the staff—they are very accommodating and friendly.

GGuest UserFirst, excellent location, foam accessibility from everything (white beach, d mall, embankment), while quite quiet area, But right under the windows of the church, in which concerts are very often held, until late at night... In the rooms clean, but in 5 nights we cleaned once, and that is what we asked Tomorrow on amateur, portiono, local kitchen (ryss, egg and garnish for choice) Very kind workers, always were ready to help ! In general, I recommend!

JJen in BoracayGood place for someone looking for a cheap, budget-friendly hotel. The price is very affordable, making it a great option if you’re trying to save money but still want a comfortable place to stay. The rooms are simple but decent enough for a short stay. The food is also great and tastes really good, which was a nice surprise. However, the servings are a bit on the small side, so you might find yourself wanting a little more. Overall, it’s a good choice for budget travelers who just need a basic, affordable place to stay.

MMark Francis MacasinagWe had a very nice stay at Cerca Hotel. The staff were nice and accommodating, and that they allowed you to stay continuously despite having multiple bookings. However, it seems that there were some concerns regarding the lack of amenities, such as tables and chairs in the family room, doormats in the shared bathroom and comfort room, and low water current. It might be helpful if the hotel could consider adding these amenities for a more comfortable stay. Additionally, having signage to make it easier to locate the hotel would be beneficial. It's wonderful that the hotel is conveniently located near the beach and restaurants, making it a convenient choice for guests.

Guest Reviews & Ratings: The hotel’s rating on ******* is notably low—2.0 out of 10, also described as 2/10 “Terrible” in its reviews. Reported issues include poor cleanliness, cockroach sightings, and unprepared room readiness at check-in. One guest review noted an instance of cockroaches in the bed, prompting an early check-out despite the location being praised. Another user noted a sarcastic remark from staff concerning transportation pricing, contributing to a negative service impression. Contrasting reviews from Google (via other aggregators) show a more mixed experience: One praised the helpful staff, clean rooms, fresh breakfast, and well-maintained lobby. Another cited serious issues like leaking ceilings and extra charges for linen cleaning. --- Summary: Is Wald’s Place a Good Choice? Aspect Observations Location Excellent—very close to the beach, D’Mall, and Station 2 attractions Amenities Basic – includes Wi-Fi, air-conditioning, communal kitchen, and optional breakfast Room Quality Mixed – some mention leaking ceilings and cleanliness issues Service Mixed – some guests report helpful staff; others cite poor service or tone Value Affordable pricing, but negatives could outweigh savings If you're looking for a budget-friendly spot with a fantastic location, this could be an option—if you’re prepared for simplicity and potential issues. --- Alternatives You Might Consider in Boracay If the concerns above give you pause, here are some alternative recommendations in Boracay that may offer a more comfortable experience: Nearby mid-range and upscale hotels: Opt for places like Henann Regency Resort & Spa, Boracay Vacation Club, or similar resorts located in or around Station 2; they tend to offer more consistent amenities and service. Guesthouse-Style Accommodations: If you want something affordable yet reliable, search for guesthouses or pensions with strong recent reviews or popular listings on ***********, Agoda, or similar.

RRCMARFAThe location is perfect because it is at the center of station 2. It is very near to most bars, restaurants, shops and the dmall. The aircon is really cold excellent. The shower is perfectly working like they have heater and spacious bathroom. The only thing we have noticed is it is not a very new hotel like the others. The floors and tires are old and hairs are somehow everywhere. The bidet in our room is not working and the room to the balcony is hard to open. The pool is now converted into a bar. But overall it was a very nice stay. The staff are nice, the price is reasonable actually it is perfect for the budget and thè breakfast inclusion is a treat.

GGuest UserOne of the advantages is the proximity to the coastline, only 5 minutes. The furniture is quite old, there is a mountain of dust on the air conditioner. The shower hose is broken, making it impossible to wash. Sliding doors practically do not get damaged; each time you need to lock them with a key, you need to spend about 20 minutes.
