The capsules are clean and modern, so are the toilets and showers, however the rest of facilities are a little old. The staff is kind, the location is the old town which is an interesting place to visit but I personally would have preferred to stay downtown, however you can take a bus or metro and get there in around 20 minutes. I was here for over a week so in the end it's a little bit uncomfortable to stay in such small place with all my stuff (one large and one small backpack) but for a few days or with less luggage it's okay. I'd have gotten the double one if I wasn't on a budget.

I stayed at Hotel Alia Cikini and honestly I really enjoyed the experience. It is a comfortable and pleasant place, especially if you are looking for something simple, clean, and well located in Jakarta. One important thing to note is that this is a sharia or Islamic hotel, so they apply certain rules in line with that concept. For unmarried couples, you will not be allowed to stay together in one room, and same sex couples are also not permitted. So it is something to be aware of before booking, depending on your situation. That said, aside from the policy, the hotel itself has a lot of positives. The building is a bit old but it is very well maintained. Cleanliness is definitely one of their strong points. The rooms, bathroom, and common areas are all kept tidy and comfortable. The location is another big advantage. It is in Cikini, which is a very strategic area. You will find plenty of restaurants, cafes, convenience stores, and other facilities nearby, all within walking distance. It makes it very convenient whether you are staying for business or a short leisure trip. Overall, if you are okay with the hotel concept and rules, this is a solid choice. It is affordable, clean, and in a great location. I would definitely consider staying here again for a short trip.

This hotel is conveniently located near Central Jakarta, making it easy to get anywhere. The surroundings are beautiful and pleasant, and the decor clearly reflects an Indonesian style!

Great clean place. No guests allowed because its a traditional place. Got to be married. Nothing wrong with the hotel but location is kind of an awkward busy street. Affordable and good place.

I stay here for roughly a week because I have to go to RSCM everyday. The location was great, and has easy access to Cikini Commuterline station and bus stop to strategic location. Overall my experience was nice

The AC wasn't cold enough. There were no amenities like towels unless requested (not sure about other rooms). The Wi-Fi didn't work. Other than that, it was okay.

I was very disappointed with my experience at Saffron Suites Syariah “SUPER DUPER DISSAPOINTED” I booked the room for two people, but after arriving, I was informed of several restrictions that were not clearly communicated to me when I made the booking. My partner was not allowed to visit me without being questioned about our relationship, and I was also informed that unmarried couples are subject to restrictions. I was additionally asked to sign hotel regulations only upon arrival, including a restriction on bringing alcohol into the room. These conditions were not clearly brought to my attention before I paid for the booking. I fully respect that a Syariah hotel may have its own rules. However, such important restrictions should be clearly disclosed before guests make and pay for a reservation, not presented only after arrival. THIS IS SO UNETHICAL due to not to disclose this kind of information in the public I strongly recommend that future guests confirm all hotel policies directly with the property before booking, particularly regarding partners, visitors, marriage requirements and alcohol (I have been even asked to presented the official marriage certificate) this is truly INSANE For me, this was an unexpected and very uncomfortable experience, and I believe these policies should be made much clearer to customers before they book. And specially for Trip.com and the team to do further investigation on this.

For smokers, this isn't ideal. Smoking is prohibited inside the rooms, but there's no outdoor solution either. If you're on the 4th floor, you have to go all the way down to the 1st floor using the stairs.

Good hotel...good and friendly service, only breakfast is thought to be a buffet but is divided per person, for breakfast time, if possible, the time should be moved up, because the visitors are workers.

The room was generally clean and affordable! There's a big mall nearby, right by the main road. The only downside was that the bathroom water was salty, but overall, it was a decent stay.
